Sabrina
Sabrina made sure I had everything I needed and went over everything clearly before the sit, which was super helpful. She even had earplugs by the bed, in case it was too noisy for me at night which was so sweet! Her animals were friendly and loved attention. The house is adorable and I loved sitting by the dining room window with the cats soaking up the sun in the morning. They have a beautiful garden as well that is nice to relax in. It's close to the freeway and a few minutes drive will bring you into the city and the beaches aren't far either.

This was a nice sit in a lovely location. Tracey and Bob were available by video call to chat with in advance and provided lots of information, with the welcome pack, extra documents and videos of how to use the appliances. All four of the pets were affectionate and friendly and with established routines that made it enjoyable to look after them. There were beautiful walks and cycle rides nearby and Tracey even provided food for me.

Minnie and Marnie are very easy to look after and each have their own very unique personalities. Marnie is very relaxed and loafs about the house quietly, looking for a warm duvet, sofa or lap. She mostly spends time in her kitchen basket surveying the household and snoozing. She likes her food and can sometimes sneak some of Minnie’s dinner if nobody is looking. Minnie is very cheeky, and has a curious streak - she doesn’t sit still for very long, although sometimes she’ll stay a while on your lap if you promise her belly rubs. They are really lovely cats and absolutely no trouble to care for.
I appreciated Jess’ great communication and clear instructions, and availability on message if ever there was a question. They have a very spacious and comfy home, and the location is great on the mainline into central London. I highly recommend this sit!

LOIS
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience as our first pet sit completed through the Trusted House Sitters. Lois and Lorenzo were extremely accommodating and provided a smooth transition into our stay. Detailed instructions and communication was provided by Lois which guided us through their pets care, their home, and the local area including many great recommendations on places to visit. They remained actively responsive to questions and queries throughout their time away. Everything we needed to care for Roxy the chihuahua, Diego (Main coon), and Pace (Scottish Fold) was provided or organised for us.
Roxy was a breeze to look after, very loving and the most active chihuahua we’ve ever come across - accompanying us on runs and hikes alike which was a treat. Diego has a beautifully demanding presence when inside and likes to spend his days outside exploring nearby gardens and pastures. Pace spends his time sleeping or finding sun to bask in, and as an older cat needs some extra TLC. All three were low maintenance and settled quickly in to our care, and made loving them like our own pets so easy.
Thank you to our wonderful hosts Lois and Lorenzo, your above and beyond hospitality, and entrusting us with your beloved pets and home. Our time in Switzerland was unforgettable and we will return again one day - we miss Roxy, Pace and Diego!

Edward
Ed and Hector are two of the most laid back and coolest dudes we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. From the minute we arrived and were greeted with lovable licks (from Hector! LOL), we knew that we were going to enjoy our time together.
Ed made us feel comfortable straight away and we loved hearing all about his travel adventures over a beer or two. He explained where all the best eateries were located nearby and inspired us with his experiences of South America especially.
The apartment had everything you would need, a fabulous view and the best running/walking track and park right out the front door, which was perfect for ensuring Hector got plenty of exercise.
There is no way that you can spend time with Hector and not fall in love with him. He is the best behaved K9 we have ever had the pleasure of looking after and this makes caring for him just so enjoyable. You can go swimming with him, running with him, play catch on the beach and in the park with him and when he isn't doing that he is quite happy to be chilled out at home on the couch with you.
They are both just such a joy to be around and we look forward to seeing them again soon.
