We had a great stay at David and Melinda’s home in Edmonds. Their large home is beautifully appointed and meticulously maintained. The kitchen is fantastic and the open layout is bright and relaxing. At the front of their home, there is a running brook and I spent many afternoons reading in the sun on their sheltered front deck – it felt like I was in a park! And in the evenings, the hot tub was a big bonus! Their cat Loki is beautiful and very sweet. She is a bit nervous but it doesn’t take long for her to warm up if you offer a grooming session with her purple rubber brush! She absolutely loves the purple brush, turning all purry and wiggly in pleasure! She spend hours curled up on my lap at night and in the mornings while we watched television and read. Great pet therapy! Their home is located within an easy 20-minute walk to the “old part” of Edmonds, which is a charming seaside town with cute boutiques, restaurants and cafes. Edmonds also offers a great walking trail along its waterfront. During one of our walks, we were able to see the resident orca whales from the shore – pretty cool! And, just up the hill, you can find a broad variety of shopping and services in the adjacent town of Lynnwood. Melinda was quick to answer questions and provided detailed notes and instructions which were very handy. David and Melinda are very attentive and welcoming hosts. They went out of their way to make sure that we would have a comfortable stay. We had a great spring getaway and highly recommend this house-sit…
We really enjoyed our stay at Andi & Amy's home in Oxford. The house is very close to the city centre, so we could easily walk in to explore the city, and there's a Tesco Express within a 10 minute walk too. The family provided us with parking permits. Pixel and Albus were easy to care for; Pixel mainly kept herself to herself but was always seen at feed time, and did let us stroke her too. There was no problem with giving her medicine. Albus was cuddly and liked to be with us, he lets you pick him up etc. You do have to keep an eye on him in the kitchen for sure! Andi and Amy gave us plenty of information and were really responsive when we contacted them during our stay. The house was comfortable and we had everything we needed. We'd definitely recommend Andi and Amy :)
Sugar is a real sweetheart, a very good and calm dog who doesn't need a leash anywhere you take her. Kerry and Mark are really nice people, communication with them is easy and their house is located right opposite the off-leash dog park where Sugar has all her friends. Very recommended sit, Sugar is actually a super easy, friendly and grateful dog.
A lovely sit. The house was very comfortable. Ingrid and Michel were excellent communicators and great hosts. They even left an entire empty closet replete with plenty of hangars. Laren is a picture-book Dutch town with a quaint shopping area nearby. Max was incredibly attentive, interactive and cute. He walked for miles and still wanted to play when he got home. He did have the funny habit of crouching to the ground anytime we passed another dog, plus was a tick magnet, so be prepared for lengthy outings. Trudy came and visited a few times a day and was happy sleeping near us. Overall, very low maintenance. The fish were.... fish. Beautiful and easy to take care. We would happily sit for Ingrid, Michel, Max, Trudy, Puffy and Nemo again.
Another great stay. Paula and Antony are so welcoming and warmhearted. I looked after Rufus, a lovely elderly dog. He was very enthusiastic about going out, enjoyed some silly fun games at home, and loved cuddling on the sofa. Also, the house was atop a hill offering a peaceful and cosy atmosphere with stunning views. Weather permitting, I woke up at 6 am every day to watch the sunrise from the window. We had plenty of countryside walks. I want to conclude saying that I'm grateful for your warm hospitality and kindness, including the early accommodation and the delightful dinner we shared. All the best and thank you again 🥰
Loved watching Louie doggie, Leo the cat, and the fish:). A wonderful home full of amenities and quiet neighborhood. I highly recommend Glenn's home and sweet animals to watch to anyone. Really a very easy sit and very loving animals:). Glenn is a great host.
