Scratch and Abbe were perfect sitters. I didn't worry about a thing while I was gone. The dogs were very happy and content when I got home. They were great caregivers and the house was immaculate when I returned. I would not hesitate to have them come back.
Steve and Helen welcomed me the night before and made me feel right at home, they have a lovely house, comfortable and cosy. They were the perfect homeowners, they showed me around the area, and left me suggestions and places to visit. Looking after Albie and Royden was an absolute pleasure, it was fun to take them on walks around the park off the lead. They were so easy to look after very affectionate and I will miss them a great deal. The cat Dougal was very friendly and would just turn up for a cuddle and something to eat very easy to look after. Thank you, Steve and Helen for trusting me with your home and gorgeous animals.
James was so welcoming to his home and Clementine is such a sweetheart. James gave me all the info need to care for Clementine plus he checked in with me in the first day to see how I was settling into the home. I would certainly do another sit with Clementine.
Sheena has two adorable dogs that were very easy to care for, and both with calm natures. Rosie & Lexie were easy to walk and affectionate. The house was clean & comfortable, with a gorgeous view from the back deck and the location is close to the lake's lovely walking track into Warner's Bay shops, but you might like to park at the bottom of the hill unless you are a hill walker. Sheena communicates well and everything was organised when I arrived. Very enjoyable experience!
The homeowner and pet owner we dealt with was Hayley's mother, Jeanne. We were asked to arrive 2 days before the sit so we could get acquainted with her and her pets, as well as their routines. We were welcomed warmly and our lovely guest suite was all made up and ready for us, with double French doors that open onto the covered front porch. Jeanne's home is quite large and very pet-friendly, furnished with comfortable couches and chairs draped with soft coverlets, blankets and pillows. There is a large covered porch on which to sit and watch the sunsets.
Jeanne is very organized. She has a notebook filled with all the information we needed to know. It included important phone numbers, as well as individual pages with the names and photographs of each pet, including their specific needs. The two dogs and six cats were all very sweet and tame. They got along with each other very well, (even bathing each other at times). It didn't take long for us to fall in love with each and every one of them. Some were indoor /outdoor while a few were outdoor only or indoor only. It was obvious that they all had been raised with plenty of hands-on love, and it came naturally to us to provide that while Jeanne was away.
Jeanne lives in a very nice neighborhood in a beautiful and comfortable house, conveniently located a short stroll to the beach in north Kihei. This was a dream housesit for us. Our month housesit flew buy and it was hard to leave!
Very early on, Jeanne and her daughter, Chloe made us feel like part of their family. We loved caring for their pets in their home, and would definitely like to return! We do not hesitate in recommending this house-sit to anyone who loves cats and dogs!
Jeremiah was an excellent communicator. Buddy and Val (kitties) were affectionate and sweet.
Pet sitting for Martin and Vicky was lovely! Their house was very beautiful and relaxing. Luna their cat, was super chill and very friendly. Definitely recommend them for to others who wish to pet sit in the future 🙂

Bayou City Pet Sitting is the BEST dog day care and boarding in Houston, hands down! Our dog has been going since she was a puppy and has loved being there from the start. It is next level to the other dog day cares we have tried in the area. It feels like the dogs are at home and we truly know that Brandi takes care of them like they are her own. The yard is welcoming, fun, and I love the resident dogs so there are always dogs (and cats!) to play with. We are so grateful for such loving care. I cannot recommend this place enough and have already had several friends bring their dogs there too and love it!
Every time we visit Houston we have Brandi watch our pets. One of our dogs has a heart condition, and I'm always confident he's in good hands at Bayou City Pet Sitting. There are not enough good things I can say about Brandi and Bayou City Pet Sitting! We have two Corgis and Brandi has been amazing taking care of them. First, her process to get you set and booked lets us know right off the bat how caring she is. There is a questionnaire Brandi has so you can share as much as possible about your pets and help her take her of them exactly how they need them. My husband and now were constantly looking at each other saying “wow she is legit” when we were filling out the forms. Second, her place is 10/10. She has an amazing yard with lots of toys and things for the dogs to play. Her house is fully equipped to take care of dogs and keep them safe. She is very organized. Again, another way you can see how attentive and caring and serious she is about taking care of dogs. What matters to us the most is that our Corgis are in an environment like at home, feeling loved and taken care of. And that’s exactly the set up Brandi has. Third, Brandi is super communicative and sent us tons of updates! We were never worried. We left them with Brandi for 10 days and we have already reserved to leave our Corgis with Brandi for the next trips we have planned. Highly recommend!!!!
As a new dog owner, Bayou City Pet Sitting has exceeded all my expectations, and even some I didn't even know I had. I had to board Zeus for an extended period of time and was searching for somewhere he wouldn’t be just kept in a kennel all day. I’m so glad I found Chloe! She treated my baby like one of her own. She was very understanding about him being anxious and was so good with him. He got so comfortable with her he would even sleep in his favorite position, on his back. I will definitely be recommending her and using her again.

Zola frequents here almost monthly, she loves it here(she literally cried for a whole 1 hour in the car ride back to Austin after picking her up). They keep you up-to-date with the status of your fur baby along with photos of them enjoying themselves (which Zola always is). I am a forever customer and will advise any and everyone to give them a try. They are really accommodating and understanding. You won't find a better place or a better price than here. If I could give 10 stars I would. Keep up the excellent service and Zola is looking forward to future visits.
We loved Chloe's Bark and Stay! This was our first time to leave our fur baby, so we can wanted him to be at a place where he would play and get more interaction and not locked in a kennel all day! Barkley can be quite anxious with new situations, but Chloe did a great job at making him feel comfortable and right at home! We liked that we had a meet and greet ahead of time to introduce Barkley to her house and some of the other dogs! She is very easy to schedule with-- including accommodating for early flights with drop off and pick up times. She took such great care of our dog and always sends picture updates to let us know how he is doing. We have already booked our second stay. We highly recommend her for all your pet sitting needs!
What wonderful services they offer at Chloe's Bark and Stay! We came from out-of-town and needed a sitter for our hounds and Chloe was super accommodating, kind and friendly. Our dogs were happy and well cared for and Chloe was a dream to communicate with. We loved that we received photos, videos and little updates. We have never been able to be away from our house for more than a day because we never had anyone to look after our dog Bella. We have always had some fears about taking her to a boring place because has has anxiety issues and we weren't sure how she would be with other dogs. Well, we were planning a long road trip and had to do something. I asked on Facebook and I can't tell you how many people responded recommending Chloe. I reached out to her and was really at ease about everything. We did our meet and greet and no it was amazing! I was so shocked. We did a short weekend for thanksgiving and it went so so well. I just picked up our Bella from her 11 day stay and she did so great! She played and had a blast. Chloe really knows her stuff and she really has the heart for this. I'm so happy we took the leap with our big girl! Absolutely love Chloe!
My previous dog sitter retired earlier this year. I am very fortunate to have found Lynn to care for my 5 yr old golden retriever. She is very dependable and have been very flexible to accommodate my changing work schedule. My golden has adapted to her well. Lynn we love you coming and hope you will be around for us for a very long time.
Lynn walks my corgi, Harry on the days that I work. I am a nurse so my schedule is always changing and Lynn is very flexible! Harry was is a rescue. He had never even walked on a leash and is scared of everything. Lynn has worked very hard with him and he has learned a lot! She is very patient with him and makes him feel comfortable!

She sends sweet videos to keep us updated with each visit. She is careful to understand any dietary needs and is very mindful of weather situations that could cause discomfort for our fur babies. She even leaves music playing if it’s raining or fireworks are going off to ensure our dogs are comfortable overnight while in their crates. Kristine and Traci have been taking care of our cats for many years so it’s about time I leave a raving review. I love the daily videos and they make sure they locate every single cat (we have 5). In addition, they had to solve some interesting challenges: a blaring alarm siren that wouldn’t shut off because of a dead battery in a sensor, a malfunctioning sensor resulting in police showing up with drawn guns (yes we have that on security video), a cat that locked himself up in a room…. My cats now think that every time the front door opens they get fed 😂 Highly recommended!

Kristine is the absolute best!! My four dogs trusted her from the beginning. She’s very experienced and knowledgeable, and she goes above and beyond to put your pet’s needs first! My husband and I went on vacation for a week during some terrible storms and flooding, and one of my dogs sliced her ear open the night before we left. Needless to say, the entire household was stressed. Kristine braved flooded streets, torrential rains, and loss of electricity in our home for two days to make sure our dogs were well-cared for. She even brought her own fabric cone for my wounded dog to keep her from scratching her ear, and she brought her own radio to leave at the house since our power was out, so that our dogs wouldn’t have to listen to the rain and thunder. She is such a blessing!! I never have to worry about my pups when they’re in her care! Thank you!!!!
Travel without worrying about your pets! Cuddle Buddies have been my pet sitter for several years! I travel for work, and I don’t think I could handle it without their loving care. I get video feeds every time there is a visit and lots of updates. Even during the big ice storm when I was out of town, Cuddle Buddies went above, and beyond, keeping in touch with me the whole time while they went in with flashlights, and made sure my dog was fine. You just can’t put a price on the piece of mind when you leave your pet behind.

Love these people! The whole staff is truly a Godsend. My fur baby, a loveable Goliath sized German Shepherd, has pretty high separation anxiety and they are SO kind, understanding and patient with him. They really go out of their way to help home out and make his stay comfortable. The associated Animal Clinic (Fairbanks) is no different. I highly recommend them!
These guys went above and beyond, helping me with emergency boarding needs due to the unexpected death of my brother. They were so caring with the animals you’d have thought they were staying with family. Julie went above any expectation in caring for these two dogs whose world had been turn upside down and ensuring their comfort in every way. Even going so far as trying to help us find shelters for them. They are just the best and I cannot thank them enough here in this review. Thank you Northwest Pet Lodge for helping us deal with this painful process and ensuring the ultimate safety for these 2 floofers!!!

This boarding facility is so much more than that. My doggo is treated with the utmost care and love. My doggo is , for lack of better words, an energy machine. I have boarded with Northwest Pet Lodge for many years. The staff is very knowledgeable and kind to animals. Very clean facility. Never had any problems while boarding there. The owner is my pets vet for over 30 years. Very conscientious and diligent about pet care. Highly recommend this place.
I brought my dogs this evening to stay in their lodging facility, and I did a walk-through the previous Saturday for my two babies to keep in the garden suite together for the weekend. I brought them in this evening to find out they are booked for the wrong room for my dogs and had no more room for them. I wasn't able to speak to a manager. The lady helping me told me I wouldn’t talk to her until Monday, which was no help at all. I decided not to leave my babies in their care because the woman helping didn’t seem to care about our concern whatsoever. Now we are scrambling to find lodging before leaving for our trip, which is a huge inconvenience for something I booked a week in advance for. I will never use their services again in addition to the vet
Great experience taking my Belgian malinois here for first time. Easy online booking at affordable rates. The staff were super friendly and helped her get settled in. Only thing would make it even better would be daily status updates or camera streams...
They starved my family’s animals for 4 days. An employee admitted the abuse, apologized, and when my family member asked for a refund due to lack of care, the employee was concerned about the refund coming out of her check. The owner called us back with an apology and assured my mother would get refunded the full amount. Turns out the employee was “going through something in her personal life”. So she didn’t feed my 85 year old mothers 2 dogs nor her 5 month old kitten for 4 days! They could have died!! When I toured the new additions, they boasted about checking the cat cottage every 4 hours, guess not! Do you have any idea what it’s like to hear your mother so sad that she cried! I’m furious and I’m surprised the owner employs someone who neglects doing their job because they are having a rough time. This was abuse, unacceptable abuse. Shame on this facility to be so proud. My family has used Prestonwood in the past. Never again.
So, today my daughter went into this business to turn in an application. She is in the Vet Med program year 4 as a senior with her school. My daughter is well mannered very shy GT student a lover and passionate for any type of animal and gives great customer service. I let her go in on her own because she is responsible and I let her handle things on her own. She got in the car after she was told they are hiring that they are not. My daughter waited until we were 3-4 exits up Hwy 249 (I am a mother bear and I refuse to let anyone mistreat, mishandle or talk to my children anyway.) She told me and my husband how rude and nasty of an attitude the owner had during the mini questioning cutting her off telling her how she didn’t ask for all of that. When asked if she had any pets or a dog. That her last 2 jobs was not enough experience. Like really these kids are trying to gain more experience in a job that will be part of their future profession and career. But no worries this didn’t stop her from landing something so much better at a different pet facility. I would never recommend this place at all.
Dropped my cat off for a 3 day stay, the girl (forgot her name) who receipted me was awesome, gave info on the facility and what kind of condos are available. I felt like I could trust this place in giving my pet the "resort" style treatment since that's what's advertised on their sign. Came to pick up my pet and the woman who I dealt with (tall old lady) was less than happy to be dealing with a customer, when she stated my total I let her know that I paid a deposit and she said I didn't, she gave a sparky response of "no, you didnt" and after double checking she confirmed I did. When obtaining my pets items I noticed 2 out of the 3 cans of wet food were still in his bag, I asked the girl when I dropped him off to get 1 can of wet food a day. For a total of 3 days. 3 cans, 3 days. Thank God it looks like the dry food was used, or at least I hope. He got home and appeared starving cause he wouldn't leave his dry food. - side note when they say the $25 cat condo is secluded all to himself, which it is, they also neglect to tell you that there are other animals across the room. Less than impressed, but I guess it worked for the 3 days. Ill use my vets office boarding next time.
The owner has workers and friends make new email accounts to make five star reviews. PLEASE BEWARE! the owner occasionally kicks at the dogs in their crates. if you bring blankets or toys, the dogs aren’t getting them. the owner treats employees HORRIBLY! for the safety of your dog, go anywhere else, please
This is NOT a review!! This is a LOVE LETTER to Prestonwood Kennels Pet Resort!! We have taken our Furbaby to two other boarding facilities before (huge, huge mistake), but when I found Prestonwood on Google, I immediately felt a good feeling in my heart. We took our Furbaby to stay with them for 20 days and it was one of the best decisions we have made. Our Furbaby looked happy, taken care of and cared for. And she really was well taken care of. I was able to visit her every day. We were in town, but we had a very sick family member at home and it was not easy or practical to have a very energetic puppy (big puppy, 60 lb Lab) running around a hospital bed and nurses, so we had to board her. They gave her the medicine she had to take on a daily basis (she had a little bruise on her paw). The whole staff is wonderful: Steven, Heather, Christine, Lena, Linda, Cynthia, Toby, Kyle and Mia. Steven was the first person who I talked to: he answered the phone and patiently answered all my questions (and I had lots and lots of questions due to horrific past experiences) and Steven patiently answered my questions and put my heart at ease. During a few days (maybe due to the stress we had at home), our Furbaby had diarrhea and the AMAZING, WONDERFUL, CARING, LOVING Mrs. Guinnette made rice and bought rotisserie chicken for our Furbaby. I was in shock at her loving attitude (good shock, though!!), who does that? Who cares at this point?? I could not believe it!!! I am soooo grateful to Mrs. Guinnette!!! She took care of our Furbaby as if she was her own!!! Fun (and embarrassing fact): when I got there to pick our Furbaby up, she didn't want to get in the car!! She wanted to get back inside, so I had to ask Kyle to help me put her in my car! Can you imagine that??? It's like she didn't want to go home. Also, another very important point to mention: the cleanliness of the place!! AMAZING!! We are allowed to go to the kennels to see our Furbabies and walk them in the property. The whole place (kitchen, the runs for the Dogs, aisles, everywhere) is very, very clean!! I think Mrs. Guinnette does a fantastic job running this wonderful place!! Our Furbaby enjoyed walks and we got an "Activity Report" about her 'Nature Walk' and 'Playtime'. She loved the pool (and so did I). I am totally in awe at this wonderful place and it is only possible because of the immense love this Lovely Lady (Mrs. Guinnette) has for the Animals. We are soooo grateful for Mrs. Guinnette and her wonderful Team!! Whenever we need to board our Furbaby again, we will take her to the best kennel there is - Prestonwood Kennels Pet Resort! If you need to board your Furbaby, do yourself a favor and call them and rest assured that your Furbaby will be very well taken care of and you will have peace of mind! Mrs. Guinnette, the world needs more people like you - thank you for loving the Animals!! Thank you for being wonderful!!
We’ve been using Prestonwood Kennels for many years and several dogs. The staff is always helpful and professional while dropping off and picking up. Our girl gets excited when we turn into the parking lot. She goes in without a hesitation and never looks back.
We've boarded our 2 Great Danes here 4 times and they've received excellent care. There are closer facilities to us, but we choose to come to Prestonwood Kennels. They are organized, caring, clean and our girls get to be in a indoor/outdoor cage together.
Called to check availability and what they had available in terms of kennels. The lady who answered the phone on 12/9/24 name starts with an L was very short and rude. She was not any help and when we told her we were looking for boarding on the 25th she said they weren’t open and just hung up on us. Overall she needs to watch her tone.
Terrible Experience ! Found this place on Google , called to confirm they board lizards. They agreed. Scheduled an appointment 4 days prior to drop off. Called the morning of to confirm prior to drop off. I arrive , I was told that they are not willing to board a lizard. Mind you I was told to bring all of his things, 50 gallon tank , lamps , food. The inconvenience of traveling 45 minutes , packing and loading all of this things to be turned away after I specifically called and confirmed twice is unbelievable. Today my day was extremely exhausting, overwhelming and mind blowing. I am a 15 year army vet with a hip replacement , so just imagine the stress and pain this took just to be denied. They didn’t have a room for my pet. Not to mention changed the price , but that was the least of my issue. To bluntly refuse to board my animal after I specifically called, very unprofessional but who gaf right? I pray no good on this business Terrible. Do better
We love PetSuites! The people are so sweet and our pups have always looked forward to going. We also got adorable photos of them for special holidays that were only possible because of how comfortable our girls are there.

Their adorable Paw-greed reports are a great touch to keep you updated on your baby. My boy had the time of his life while boarding, and I’m beyond excited with our experience. My dog pillow was given to another dog and the worker lied and stated that it didn’t happen. However, I received confirmation he did just what I stated he did. This facility does not work on the honest system. The male employee also told me my dog let him pick him up. Cesar don’t let anyone pick him up…. I MEAN ANYONE! So it was just 1 lie told after another. Here is a picture of my dog Cesar and here is also his pillow that I got back. Now where’s the lie????
I took my yorkie mix for a first time grooming this week and was very pleased with the experience. Everyone I spoke with was friendly and professional. The groomer did a great job, and Pixie seemed happy and relaxed when I picked her up. We’ll definitely be returning.
Our dog, Maverick, started at Pet Suites Cypress in June. He attended puppy preschool. He is also receiving training from Christina. We have been very impressed with the staff at Pet Suites. Maverick loves going to see all his friends there and totally enjoys his playtime and training. We have full confidence in the staff and the administrative staff. Leaving Maverick there we always feel like he is being taken care of like a king. There is no place better than Pet Suites.
Finally found a doggie daycare & boarding place in PetSuites Cypress that we are comfortable with taking care of our pups. The facility has great indoor and outdoor play areas & we love that the trainers have creative and fun enrichments for our doggies. Jackson at the front desk is super nice and a lot of the staff say they love our pups. Christina in the training department is so nice and super creative. We love the app to see the paw-gress report and the live webcams so we can keep an eye on our pups.
Pet suites to Cypress it was so nice. They’re lovely place to board your lovely puppy or dog. They are amazing and a wonderful place to bring your dog for the weekend or holidays. They are a great place to be.
We boarded our dog for 2 nights here for the first time. I really loved all the communication they send to you! We got pictures and emails every day. I also really loved all the options to add play time, training, or baths to your stay. Very customizable and they walked us through it all. Our dog had a great stay and came home looking so cute in her Christmas bandana!
This place is the BEST! If you're worried about how your pups are being taken care of, you don't have to be worried about that here. They care so much! They are very informative and will answer all of your questions. Any accommodations can be made for your pets. PetSuites offers many discounts and promotions regularly. You can also text them anytime to check in on your pets or to inquire about anything! I take my 2 dogs at least once a week to doggie daycare to "run it out" and they can hardly wait to get inside. This place is the best, so not hesitate to check it out!

ABC Pet Resort & Spa always takes good care of our Livi. We have taken our Chows to ABC for over 30 years and they leave clean, trimmed and happy. We have boarded our pups as well and they have been well taken care of.
We have been boarding our dogs at ABC for 20 years! They have a wonderful, caring staff. The facility offers many boarding options and playtime choices. They are the best! I have also always been contacted if there are any questions or concerns. The grooming staff is excellent.
I had my pet cat Mimi stay for the week of thanksgiving. While dropping her off the staff was very nice and gave me the full total. The price was great considering having Mimi stay for 5 days. The place is very clean and the pets are kept in big rooms. At least from what I could tell with the cats. Depending on if you would like them to play, and treat the cat they will charge a little more but its worth it. My cat was happy when the staff member walked up to her room, so I know she was very well taken care of. The pet rooms are very clean and the cats look happy. I will definitely be using them again and recommending to my family members.
Erika at the front desk was so kind and accommodating. And Patty in the Grooming department was awesome. She took great care of Bella in her nails. Bella normally has high anxiety with getting her nails done and Patty made it quick and easy and comfortable for her

Kobe loved his day at daycare! Look how happy this good boy is. The team were incredible from sign up, to drop off and pick up! Extremely organized and well run, you can tell they have been doing amazing job for the past years and years to come. I loved the welcome bag we received, included is the pictured certificate that I now have up on the fridge.
We have been bringing our dogs to ABC for over 10 years. They always take excellent care of our dogs and they truly care about their lodgers. A great attention to detail and also a caring, loving touch! We know that we don’t have to worry about our fur babies when they are at ABC.
Absolutely no complaints! We had to find a last minute replacement for our usual boarder, and these guys were our choice! They did an incredible job helping keep our dog safe, healthy and happy while we were away from home. Love this place!!! It was my Kitty's second stay and although he was very spicy (because he didn't want to be there), the team was very patient with him and didn't give up trying to make him comfortable. I also appreciated that they observed his feeding times and continued those while he was there. I highly recommend ABC Pet Resort for your pet's next stay. Thanks again for taking care of my baby!!
Our dogs come home so tired from playing that they just wanna lay around and rest. We have two big boxers and they are extremely energetic. All of the staff there are very sweet and kind and they are all animal lovers! What more can you ask for? Oh they do have package deals.
I have never found a fur baby lover like Nancy and her team. I have hired dog walkers but none live up to the standards and quality she gives my Lilbit on her walks. I like the nice gesture of photos of my dog on her walk they send me. My dog feels really spoiled and loved. I hold heartily place trust in her ability to keep her safe and cared for while in her care. They are trustworthy when Im not home never have an issue. I heard from others about their sitter service etc I hope to try next year. Litbit highly recommends snuggles and Hugs!
Nancy and Britney are absolutely wonderful! They go above and beyond to care for our spoiled Dachshund when we are away. They provide detailed notes of each visit and send the cutest photos! Would highly recommend!!

We have been using Snuggles and Hugs for over 10 years for all our big babies (Great Danes, German Shepherd, Rhodesians, etc). While we are out of town they will text us pics or journal every visit even contact us quickly with any questions or concerns (pets or home). Brittany and Nancy have an obvious love for all kinds of animals, from puppies to seniors, they take great care and patience. From home pet sitting, medication admin, to their active dog camp it's not just Nancy’s side job – it’s what she loves and it’s what she does for a living. She is extremely good at it: so good, in fact, our babies are always spoiled when we return, no stress or mess. Snuggles and Hugs provide so much more love for our Great Dane and German Shepherd than any boarding center could ever offer. To say we are particular about where we leave our puppy for dog camp and boarding is an understatement. Moving from Houston to The Woodlands, we did meet and greets and trial days at 4 different dog care companies before finding Snuggles and Hugs. I knew from the moment our puppy was greeted, the approach was different. Our puppy not only gets better care with Darrel and Nancy, but she's a better dog all around. The exercises they do with the dogs are amazing - they exercise them physically and mentally with playing puzzles, teaching them to sniff and find. It's a well rounded camp experience. Their facility is super clean and maintained to provide a comfortable and safe environment. The only draw back is that I think my dog snuggles with them more than she does with us :-) But you can't hold that against them. They are truly wonderful.

Our Stella can't wait to get in the door and when she comes home she is exhausted from all the activity. During the day, we get pictures and videos of her playing. We were looking for a place to board our mastiffs. When we found Snuggles and Hugs the search was over.. We immediately felt comfortable with Darrel and Nancy, and trusted them to care for our fur kids. Brutus and Belle just love Mr. Darrel and Mrs. Nancy, they cant wait to get out of the car when we arrive. When they come home from camp they are tired and ready to relax after their day of activity. The facilities and boarding areas are extremely clean and tidy. I would highly recommend Snuggles and Hugs to anyone looking for a place to board your furry friends.
Snuggles and Hugs has been our favorite and ONLY pet sitters for 9 plus years. Nancy has loved and cared for our 3 fur kids like they were her own. Our 2 dogs are walked and snuggled each day and our cat loves the attention and extra treats. I have never worried once leaving since Nancy has been our family’s pet care provider. Our dogs love staying here! I love how there are cameras so we can easily check in on our pups. The constant access to outside all day is great! They come back all played out and tired. We love this place so much! They take such great care of our dogs and I love getting updates
I finally have time to leave a meaningful review. My dog Escrow loves this place he is so social with other pets and the staff really spends time with him. He is soooo active and by the time he gets home he's exhausted. (Just how I like him) As a fur mom, I feel safe leaving my baby here and not having to worry about anything. They have cameras in their boarding quarters, they update me with pictures when he's out interacting with dogs and your questions and concern are answered in a timely manner. Barks and Recreation has a great staff and they love the animals. I left Escrow for Boarding and Daycare and they did not disappoint. If you are reading this please be generous and tip them, they are worth every penny. ❤️ 😊 Thank you again Barks & Recreation, we'll be back 😉

We recently started bringing our Great Dane to Barks and Recreation due to me having to go back to the office. I was nervous because she hasn’t gone to doggy day care very much. She absolutely loves going. The staff is all so amazing and I know I’m leaving her in good hands!
Our foster dogs had a blast getting a new experience with overnight boarding. They had plenty of space to stay together (one is 130+ lbs) and apparently loved their play yard visits. Staff was attentive and reassuring that our pups enjoyed themselves. Very convenient location near Old Town Spring and would definitely recommend. They will staying again over Christmas!
Roxi has been coming to this daycare since she was a 20 pound pup. She is now 50 pounds and she still adores the people and all the dogs here!! I enjoy this daycare because I feel safe when I drop Roxi off knowing that she’s with people who actually genuinely love dogs and there’s cameras so I can watch it throughout the day and they send pictures and videos of her day as well!! Any questions I have they always make me feel reassured!! And I absolutely love the new group daycare, They just opened up because my Roxi girl is so energetic throughout the day but when I pick her up, she is exhausted from playing all day. I just recommended this place to a friend and I’m recommended to you. If you see this review, you will not be disappointed!! Try it out, I guarantee your dog will be happy and so will you🐕🦺🐾🦮🐩🐾♥️
I'm sure they took very good care of my baby. The cameras are the best although one day they were turned off. We really liked that the puppies receive a daily visit to pet and massage them. They also take them out for a free walk through the green areas of the place. What we liked the most is that their suites have two rooms, one with air conditioning where their bed, water and food are, and they have a small door open all the time to go out and come in to relieve themselves whenever they want. We are very grateful to Barks and recreation pets suits
Highest recommendation for Barks & Recreation! Our pooch loved her stay. They have 24/7 video cameras to check on your pet and they also provided fun pictures from playtime. The staff was super friendly and we could not be happier with the service they provided. We will definitely bring our dog back for boarding next time we are out of town. They also have add-on services for grooming if needed. 5-stars!

I was afraid at first with leaving milo anywhere since his a rescue dog. Milo has anxiety and scared at of people at first and will bark at anyone. My friend jasmine used to work here and recommend me here and I'm happy with that decision. Everyone is so welcoming and makes milo feel safe even if he does have anxiety sometimes they give him time for him to get to know them
Lady had a blast! It was our first time boarding and the staff made my husband and I comfortable with letting lady stay at there facility while we went on vacation. The price per night is very reasonable. They even sent us photos!
My dogs came home sick with kennel cough after staying here. I found the service strange when I asked for a photo of my dogs they wanted to charge me for it. I was told it was because it was a very busy time too many dogs I have not experienced that before. I regret not asking for a tour of the rooms as well. I would caution if use them not because they didn’t try to help but there’s too many red flags
Customer service is terrible. We have used them multiple times. They upped their prices without letting us know at the time of booking and attempted to mandate a service that was not needed or wanted (exit bath). They charge $50 for an exit BATH and try to force you into the service - which also wasn’t communicated at the time of booking. I can wash my dog for $0.00 at home.They attempted to charge us a whopping total of $326!! You are nothing but a dollar sign there. Despite my dog having been there MULTIPLE times in the past, they exercised zero compassion. They also apparently, don’t know the sex of the animals that stay with them, as they kept calling our female a “he / him”. We canceled our booking & will be taking our furrbaby with us.
We have been bringing our pets to Family Pet Retreat for several years now. We love that they offer boarding rooms and that all of our pups can stay together. They have multiple play time options and well-tempered dogs get to interact as well. We've always come home to happy pups that have received their bath and seem to have had a good time. The property is secure even outside the play yards. The only downside, if there are any, is that I forget the gate code every time and have to call like an idiot. We've used many boarding facilities over the years and this one truly feels like family. Any other place we have taken them to, we have to drag them into. Here when we arrive, the boys leave us in the lobby and run to the back without even saying goodbye.
If I could give Family Pet Retreat 10 starts I would!! This place is amazing - I have never felt like a group cared for our pets as much as they did. They love and care for all of the doggies that come in. They are always available for questions or if you just want pictures of your doggies when you miss them. Our sweet boy was diagnosed with lymphoma at age 6 and unfortunately passed the rainbow bridge but family pet retreat noticed the differences in his behavior from previous stays and called us to let us know which is how we found out he had cancer. They also have great prices compared to other places. I will recommend this place over and over !!! Our dog would hate to leave us when we had to drop him off at family or other daycares - but when we would bring him to Family Pet Retreat, we could tell he loved being there because he would run right in!! If you’re unsure of where to house your pups I highly suggest giving them a chance!!!
We’ve boarded and had our dog in daycare several times and we can tell our dog really enjoys coming here. This place welcomes Kabal every time and he always leaves with a smile on his face!
They have been watching our two dogs for about 2 and half years now and they are always available, our dogs feel very comfortable here. We have never had a problem at all! Price are reasonable as well. Great customer services so always very polite and helpful.
They took good care of my dog while I was out of town for the weekend. I purchased grooming services, and my guy was clean, freshly cut and smelling great when I picked him up! I'll use them next time I travel!
I really like how clean the facility is and that the dogs aren't in a cage. It is more like a home environment and they get to interact with other dogs. I love that they get to go out 5-7/per day and run around too. They charge differently by weight and you pay less if it is cash versus credit. So hit up the atm before coming to pick them up.
