Miso is the most adorable cat ever. She is very sweet. Sally and her family are lovely too and I really enjoyed staying in their beautiful Victorian house. It is a quick walk to Streatham High Street and there are a great number of coffee shops doing gluten-free cakes. A bit tempting!
I totally enjoyed sitting Jessica's adorable cats in her lovely apartment. Both Chris and Chloe are very sweet cats that enjoy cuddling and playing. Her apartment is amazing and as it is located in a very high floor you have a stunning view over Dubai. The location in Marina is very convenient as you are in the middle of everything and also the beach is just a 10 minutes walk away. Totally recommended!
The ONLY thing I did not like about staying with Sheldon was having to leave. Sheldon was the perfect little work buddy — mellow when it was time to be mellow and playful when it was time to take a break and have fun. It takes a few minutes to ease him into his walking harness, but it’s certainly nothing a little belly rub won’t coax him into. Once he’s all set, he’s great to walk with! And while he’s a low maintenance dog, I didn’t like leaving him for too long, simply because he was such a joy to be around. Kristi & Justin’s home is the perfect place to work and/or relax. It’s a beautiful walk up (& then down) the hill to the center of Albany, which is just such a great area. Also close to North Berkeley—between the two, there is no shortage of great food & watering holes nearby. I would—and absolutely hope to—hang out with Sheldon again in a heartbeat. He won me over in 10 minutes. Thank you, Kristi & family, for such a great week in Albany with Sheldon!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse with Percy and Hamish the cat. Percy was lots of fun and loved his walks in the fields nearby, Hamish was usually busy outdoors! The family were very welcoming and friendly, also communication with them was excellent. The house was very comfortable in a great location. We would definitely recommend this sit and hope to return sometime!
Chandra was super nice and hospitable! She had a beautiful, clean place that I enjoyed staying in! Fredrick was soooo cute and friendly! He loves cuddles and was truly the sweetest, I loved watching him!
This was a wonderful house and dog sit. Sue and Joe were extremely welcoming and very good communicators. Sue and I texted a handful of times during our stay and I believe that worked very well for all of us. Scout, the dog, was as advertised, easy to take care of, and was very loving and fun to be around. We were adequately prepared for the barking and pulling and tugging around the handful of neighborhood dogs, but nothing out of the ordinary there! Plenty of harnesses to work with too. Sue and Joe left us a very comprehensive packet for Scout's care, and little was left to our imaginations. And plenty of info about the vicinity, things to do, places to go, etc. Their home is well organized, and is a testament to decades of raising children, and has a unique and warm charm that made it very nurturing to stay there. We anticipate (if they will have us) future stints taking care of Scout as we migrate from CA to MA next year to live. We strongly recommend this house and dog sit.
