It was lovely to meet Sally, who made me feel very welcome in her beautiful and comfortable home. Flossie , the fluffy one is a delight, really friendly and we enjoyed lots of cuddles in front of a cosy fire in the evenings. The house is in a really lovely spot , very quiet but close to Frome. or Bath and Glastonbury if you want to go further afield. I had a very restful time and would completely recommend staying here and hope to be invited back!
Stephanie and Colin were marvelous hosts and prepared a delicious dinner on the evening we arrived. We really enjoyed their company and played cards with them before and after their trip. On the evening they returned Colin prepared another fantastic meal for us all. He is a great cook! Rufus and Olive were a delight and we thoroughly enjoyed our walks with Rufus on the downs near their house where all the dogs could romp around together off-leash. It was so heartwarming to see such happy dogs and we also got to know many of the dogs's owners. Olive loved attention whenever she came in from her outdoor adventures. Besides exploring the lovely town of Whitstable, we also had a chance to go to Canterbury and visit the cathedral as well as visiting two other castles nearby. It was a total pleasure to house and pet sit for Stephanie and Colin and hope we'll be able to return one day.
We loved looking after Harvey in Nicky's gorgeous home. Harvey is really friendly and easy to look after. We had a lovely weekend walking around such a good spot in Edinburgh and look forward to doing it again!
