Jane’s home and location are really amazing. The park is gorgeous and the apartment is beautiful and quiet. Ruby is so cute, she’s fun to play with! Make sure you play with the toys, not with your hand (general pet etiquette!). Would house-sit again! Thank you for the stay!
Keith and Ethan have a beautifully situated apartment on the lagoon in Foster City. The property has plenty of grassy areas for dogs to roam and the municipal dog park is walking distance from the complex. The absence of road traffic is one of the big pluses, as the only noise you will hear is the ducks on the water. The apartment is fully furnished with all the modern amenities, including washer and dryer and the complex offers a club house and outdoor swimming pool as well. Boba is a love ball and got along so well with my golden retriever Lora. We took a short drive to Half Moon Bay where the dogs enjoyed the beach and the outdoors.
Bruce and Kate are so lovely and welcoming! The flat is in a really nice, safe area with shops, pubs and restaurants near by. Bruce is easy to look after and very cute, he loves to talk and gives lots of cuddles! As for the flat, it feels homely and comfortable. There’s a desk to work, a nice kitchen and it’s very clean. Would recommend this sit a thousand times!
Spending the week with Gus and Olive was an absolute delight. They are such characters, Gus is quite boisterous and loves attention, Olive is the sweetest little lady. They were both great housemates and sofa companions. Lola the cat kept herself to herself and mainly stayed outside, but came and sat on my lap at one point! Kate and Veronikas house is so lovely and a great location to explore Melbourne from. They left a detailed guide and area recommendations so I didn’t have to wonder about anything. They also brought me some kitchen essentials which was really thoughtful. Thank you both, would highly recommend.
Wow, wow, wow. If it were possible, I'd give Sally, Bill and Archie 6+ stars. Archie is a doll and it super chilled. He sleeps much of the day, but will regularly come sit with you on the sofa if you are relaxing in the living room and ask for pats. He is sweet, gentle and super-lovable. Sally and Bill are excellent hosts and provided everything they could for a comfortable stay. We stayed with them and had dinner before and after the official sit and they are delightful company and extremely interesting. They generously hosted us for an extra night at the end of the sit and let us keep our bikes and luggage in their secure garage until the weather improved. Sally provided comprehensive instructions and answered any questions we had before leaving. She was also quick to respond if we had any questions. Their home is gorgeous and very clean and tidy. Our room was super comfortable and spacious, as is the rest of the house. And, if the weather is one their back deck is an excellent place for afternoon tea or drinks. All in all, a perfect si that ticked all our boxes. We do hope we meet again some time in the future.
Buddy was a darling to watch, so loving and sweet. his parents were wonderful and thought about everything to make the stay as smooth as possible.
