A great petsit in a great location - very close to New Orleans in a lovely neighbourhood. Cooper and ‘M’ were delightful to look after and Elaine and Mike made us very welcome and shared some great information with us both before and during the sit.
Housesitting for Natalie was great, I couldn't recommend her sit enough! She was kind, welcoming and communicative throughout the entire process and her home is beautiful. Oliver and Esther were the sweetest cats I've ever met, I hope to come back and watch them in the future :)
Caring for Pepper for Joanna & her family has been one of my favorite sits. Joanna was communicative & a pleasure to work with, & the home & location was fantastic. It's a new, clean, & comfortable apartment in a secure building with a great view of the East River. Internet was sufficient for remote work, they have a number of streaming subscriptions, & Joanna was kind enough to set me up with a guest pass (limited use) to the gym & pool. You can hear the neighbors & the sounds of the city at times, but you can't really avoid that in NYC. The highlight of the sit was Pepper. She's social & affectionate, & while it took her a day or so to get used to me, she wasn't shy or uncomfortable with the change to her environment. Given that she's still a kitten, she's super playful & was endlessly entertaining, often causing me to laugh out loud, but she will also welcome a cuddle once she's played out, & was comfortable being picked up. The only challenge was trying not to encourage “hand-as-toy” behavior, which is always the case with kittens. I will definitely miss Pepper's company, and would definitely sit for Joanna's family & Pepper again. Five stars!
We had a great and relaxing time sitting for Hannah and Clayton. After back to back sits and a long road trip, their home and fur babies were exactly what we needed. The house is clean and in a safe neighborhood. The Disney decor throughout the house made for a sweet and fun atmosphere. We were made to feel very comfortable while watching movies and hanging out with Blue and Shadow for the weekend. Hannah and Clayton’s instructions for taking care of Blue and Shadow were very clear and easy to follow. The dogs are both mature and know their routines. So much so that they will guide you on what to do. Haha! They are very sweet and easy going. Aside from feeding and letting them out, they pretty much watch themselves. We highly recommend this sit and hope we can visit again!
Second Chance Farm was such a magical experience. Gina is such a wonderful lady. She acclimated the horses and I for 3 feedings. Beemer, Ace, Leila and Zoe were amazing. Very well behaved and trained. The cats were little snuggle bunnies! The Littles as Gina calls them were wonderful housemates and I loved them all. I highly recommend especially if you love horses and want a ranch experience. The house and the grounds are beautiful!
Aimee and Rick have been wonderful hosts who made sure we had all the correct information and knew our way around before their holiday. They helped us sort out the LEZ charge after our Satnav inadvertantly had us drive through London. Although engaged in the preparation of their trip, they made time for us, showing us around Cambridge on foot. Joy, the English Springer we were entrusted with, is an incredibly sweet-natured and well-mannered dog. Taking care of her was sheer pleasure and fun. Rick and Aimee's snug home and restorative garden - many a feathered and spikey creature can testify to that - have been to André and I a homesitter's haven.
