Housesitting for Pam and the 4 cats has been wonderful. Already before arriving communication was on point. The very detailed welcome guide we received before our stay was really helpful and informative. She explained everything on the evening of our arrival and was always available for questions. The four cats are gorgeous and it was fun to get to know all their different personalities. Unfortunately the girls were a bit shy and only started to warm up to us at the end of our sit. Nevertheless, we got to enjoy lots of cuddle and playtime with Shmoke and Sockey. The house is a gem and I felt instantly relaxed and at home. During our stay the weather was really wild, but we were nice and toasty with the wood fire. It's a very comfortable home with tons of character, I love what Pam made of it (and is making of it). Thank you Pamela for the absolutely wonderful sit, I'd love to be back!
I fell in love with this sweet German Sheppard Bo. He was friendly to people and other dogs and easy to walk. Jackie's house was super comfortable, with great air conditioning during the hot Colorado Springs summer, nice big screen TV, and comfy bed. There was a great park right next door to the house to walk Bo and check out the sunsets over Pikes Peak. Highly recommended.
If you’re looking for the perfect stay in San Diego, Dewey’s house is for you. We can’t say enough amazing things about Dewey and our new pals Sammie and Lulu! Dewey allowed us to show up early, gave us a thorough and welcoming introduction, and truly prepared us for the stay. Lulu and Sam are the BEST siblings and we miss them dearly. We consider Dewey and her daughter our first local SoCal friends. We are so blessed to have had the opportunity to meet Dewey and watch the pups, and if you ever have the chance to watch her home you better jump on it!! Unless we do first! 😉
Esther was a very thoughtful host. Misha the cat was lovely company, playful and inquisitive. The home was tidy and in a quiet area with easy walk access to beach and village
Max (!!! :) Tresnas condo community is super cool with incredible amenities: pools, gyms, barista station, patio hangouts and grills, firepits, dog walks, spas and and parks, basketball, fussball, pingpong, air hockey huge TV screens with sports, news and cooking channels, indoor swings and countless lounge areas, a gourmet food truck every night. The list is endless. Its the coolest millennial version of a senior community, no babies just lots of dogs :) They have a catered condo-community movie night in the park when my friends came to visit for the evening. Which brings me back to Max (!!! :) The three of them, including Max fell in love, all the instant cuddling and kissing! The next time I saw them their first words were "How's Max? Tell his mum we'll come over and walk him anytime!" That's how it is, meet Max for five minutes and you want to be lifelong friends :) He's so smart and we had such a fun and adventurous week. He's a strong, happy little dude, always ready for a walk and many sniffs, and TREATS! It's all about the treats :) Take him for a walk/sniffs and a poo. He runs back to the treat cabinet. Take him out for a quick wee/sniffs. He runs to the treat cabinet. You walk in the door. Treat cabinet. You walk out the door. Treat cabinet. You wake up, go to bed, take a shower, eat a meal; treat, treat, treat, treat. He loves that treat cabinet! He will definitely be snuggling with you from the sofa to the bed, if its ok with you and can be a bed hog :) Molly is really shy and spends most of her day in her moms room on her moms pillow, gazing out the big sunny window. Louie will be on his grey rug on the floor basking in the sun beams. Louie warms up pretty quickly, trying to get attention, if Max is distracted! Molly takes a bit longer to get to know. After a few days of only moving about at night when I was sleeping, she started moving closer and closer but always returned to her precious pillow :) Tresna is a super dedicated pet mum, recently moving over 11,000 miles from New Zealand but only if she could bring all three of her beloved pet family with her. She's very interesting and of course, her accent is great! I had to smile when I opened the treat cabinet and saw a jar of Vegemite, which I'd only seen in a Men at Work video. Her condo is spotless and is located close enough to freeways and everything you might need. I would absolutely love to sit for Max, Molly and Louie anytime in the future and of course, my friends, Mark and Glenda down the street would be up to walk and sniff with him anytime! Thank you for a great stay Tresna.
I had sun h a great time with Chalo. He is a very sweet boy always ask for cuddle time. We enjoyed movie night together :) Jules is such a nice host. First time we met she already showed me around the great spot in the neighborhood, welcome me with warm tea. The home is in the city center but surprisingly in a quiet neighborhood. So easy to walk to museums, restaurants, parks, wouldn’t be any better! Would love to be back anytime soon!

Thank you so much for the job done on Teddy! ❤️ Teddy is a one year old Alaskan malamute. I absolutely love the trim she was given. It was her very first time going to the groomers. We always maintain her nicely at home the best that we can, so she didn’t need much done. She got a full grooming done, but specifically got a trim for the main areas: the ears, butt, paws, and legs. Being such a dog mom, I was worried about her first time at the groomers, but I was told she did amazing! She looks and smells great too, thanks to the Love My Dawg team! I love the little bandana that was put on her too. Thank you for taking care of her and making sure she looks good. The lighting in the photos probably doesn’t do it much justice, but it’s a job well done. I forgot to mention how fluffy and soft she’s feeling.
Absolutely thrilled with the service at Love My Dawg! My dog, Honey, just got her haircut from Danielle, and she looks fantastic! Danielle did an amazing job—Honey's cut is stylish and perfectly suits her. The staff are friendly and caring, and the facility is clean and welcoming. Honey came home happy and looking great. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend this place to other pet owners. Five stars!
My fur baby always comes out looking like a million bucks! He smells good and is soft as velvet. I am absolutely in love with this place! They are the best in class!
I have used Love My Dog for grooming several times now & Big Sheba always leaves looking like the Queen she is. All staff encountered are friendly yet professional, & all groomers excellent.
We have used Luv My Dawg for grooming and boarding services for over eight years. In fact, we purchased one of our dogs from them 8 years ago. In May, my wife made a reservation to board our two dogs for a week in August. Earlier today, my wife called to confirm and was told they did not have the reservation. The gentleman my wife spoke with then proceeded to say how we had made several complaints over the past few years. I’m not sure how that was relevant to the inquiry. He said he would call back to see if he could still board the dogs but has not done so. Needless to say, it obvious they are not concerned about keeping us as clients so we will look elsewhere. I know the ownership of this establishment has changed over the years. Unfortunately, not for the better.
Excellent customer service, friendly staff, and our dog is ALWAYS beautifully groomed. Highly recommend !! Thank you !
This past April we adopted our baby after not having a dog in the house for years. We went to the groomer who we used to take our last dog to years ago (in Bellmore) but after two visits I wasn't happy with their work. I found this place and I'm so happy I switched groomers! Our dog has short hair so I cannot comment on their grooming or clipping but she does have very dry skin so we like to get her a professional oatmeal bath every 1-2months. They did a great job cleaning her ears and making her smell nice. But they did an AMAZING job on her nails. They got them as short as possible without it hurting our furry baby and they filed them so they weren't sharp on the edges. This was the main reason why I decided to switch groomers, because I didn't like how the other groomer haphazardly did her nails. The people there are super nice and seem to really car about your dog. And while our dog was nervous going in, she came out all smiles. They even gave her a Fourth of July themed bandana!! Definitely satisfied. I'm taking my baby here from now on!
Found Love My Dawg Resort and Spa doing a search on Instagram! I wanted to find a dog groomer that wasn't afraid or didn't have the patience or commitment to groom my two long hair yorkies. Most groomers will give them the "puppy cut" just because it's faster and easier to maintain. I was tired of being envious of all the long haired yorkies I'd see on Instagram, so I finally decided to search via hashtags and came upon Love My Dwag's account. It was love at first scroll. I made an appointment and haven't stopped going to them since! The amount of LOVE they give my babies makes the experience for them all the better! The groomers there are probably the most highly trained, experienced, and certified on the south shore! They are all incredibly talented artist and professionals. I never ever leave disappointed. Chrissy is AMAZING! Beyond what I said above, Chrissy is always pushing her talents to the next level and never stops learning! I feel ridiculously and blessed to have found her, and for the amount of love and attention she gives to my two fur babies. She really does treat them as if they were her own kin. Everyone at Love My Dawg is a pleasure to interact with. They all do love their jobs, and when you love your job, it really does show and makes the whole experience that much better. The south shore is super lucky and fortunate to have a business like Love My Dawg in our community!
This place used to be good but now they overbooked the appointment, and they don't know how to manage. They used to take 1.5 hr to wash my dogs and now this poor dogs sit there for 4 hrs, and you have to keep calling and asking if they are done. One of my husky have anxiety he doesn't like to be locked up for 4 hrs, so I informed them can you finish both of them at the same time so he won't sit there crying. They do this job without any care and it's very annoying. I made appointment for my dogs today and confirmed last Wednesday they were like we are booked. Can you bring then Thursday. This is very unprofessional, and I would rather take my business somewhere who actually care about the dogs and take care of them the way they deserve. I will give 0 start if I can. That's how annoyed I am.
We’ve been using love my dog for a couple years.. My two black labs always come home very clean and happy. The staff are always friendly and make you feel that your fur kids are in good hands.
