Renata did a great job watching our two dogs and our house while we were away. She met with us beforehand and got all the details, reached out with any questions while we were away, and made sure we returned home safe to confirm the dogs weren't left alone too long. Highly recommend her as a housesitter.
Just perfect. I had the absolute best time caring for Helena’s and Mutlu’s beautiful home and their babies. They were so kind to cook me dinner the night I arrived and took the time to give me clear instructions. Their pets are all easy to take care of and you get sooo much love in return. Parker and Charlie immediately stole my heart. Parker has the purest and most gentle soul I have seen in a dog and Baby Charlie is incredibly funny and loving. The cats were also amazing and loved to cuddle up next to me. The home and location has everything you could ask for, it’s a french countryside dream. This was easily my favourite housesit ever. I can’t wait to be back!
I had a lovely 5 day long weekend at Adam's house , the layout was spacious and the patio outside was lovely to sit in the evening and relax. There were 5 chickens and the coop was well maintained (though the chickens did manage to escape from time to time). And Gem and Cookie are lovable dogs - the puppy Cookie was great to take on beach walks/ runs and explore the local area. Thanks to Adam and family for having me and look forward to the next stay!
On arrival Sonia gave us a tour of the local area. The house is really delightful, also it is in a great location for walks. Turn left and you can find public walks across countryside, or turn right and you only 25minutes from town. Baxter is a teddy bear. We took Baxter on early morning walks around local roads to beat the heat. Then relaxed at the house. Then walks again for Baxter down to town centre later in evening. Good communication before sit If dates work out again we would differently like to return. Thank you
Gail and John have a wonderfully located home with so much character and nature right on their doorstep. They welcomed me with tea and goodies and left a meal in the fridge for later, what a great start to a sit. The cats are fun to be around and the younger members will follow you around the garden and are real characters. This is a great rural sit with lots to see and do close by ,i would highly recommend you sit for them when it comes up, I wouldn't hesitate to sit for them again, and indeed hope to do so.
Communication was great, directions were clear and they had a thorough folder of everything that would be helpful to know regarding responsibilities , knowing where things are, do’s and don’ts, and places to go nearby. The home was inviting and clean, great for a couple to stay at. The cats had very different personalities but both were very enjoyable. The deck was awesome! They were kind enough to let my fiancé (born and raised in SF) have some family over to hangout and they really enjoyed seeing this side of SF. Overall great stay :)
Rachel gave me a detailed download of what Diesel needed over video call and in writing, and made me feel welcome in her home. Diesel is a happy, friendly and sensitive dog who needs many outlets for his high energy, and occasional grounding and reassurance when he gets startled by certain sounds. He loves to chase balls on the beach and in the yard and play tug-o-war with his toy. He also loves belly rubs and being brushed. He responds well to commands and is just all-round adorable. The house is spacious and comfortable, there are shops, restaurants, and public transportation within a couple of blocks, and the beach is a 15 minute walk away. I recommend Rachel and this sit.
