A Detroit Delight: Wonderful Hosts and Adorable Dogs My first house and dog-sitting experience couldn't have been better! Marya and Dave were incredibly gracious and welcoming hosts, making me feel instantly at ease in their Detroit home. Their kitchen was well-stocked with staples, which was a huge plus. The friendly neighbors added to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. As for their furry companions, Jolene and Gemma, they were absolute sweethearts! Two happy, healthy dogs who showered me with affection. The house is conveniently located near major freeways, making it easy to explore the Detroit area. There's a wealth of history and culture to discover in the Motor City, and Dave and Marya were fantastic guides, sharing their knowledge of the city's fascinating social history. Their recommendations for local shops and restaurants were spot on! I wholeheartedly recommend Marya and Dave as hosts. Their home is lovely, their dogs are adorable, and they are genuinely kind and informative people. Thank you, Marya and Dave, for trusting me with your home and your precious pups!
Linda and Jeff are very friendly and easy going. They live in a lovely home with a pool with amazing views of Darwin city. Their baby ‘Leia’ is a beautiful dog, she is friendly and no hassle at all. She had just had a operation and couldn’t use the stairs much but she listened to me to stay or sit even though I was a stranger to not run up the stairs :) Leia loves cuddles and tickles and sleeps by your side in her bed. Short walks for toilet and let’s you know when she is finished. Anytime - defo recommend!

Lisa and Rick's home is comfortable, clean, and in a quiet location with a hilltop view. It is a wonderful place to stay while visiting Ashland. Their bed is comfortable, the bathrooms are clean, and the kitchen is well stocked for preparing meals. There are multiple places to sit outside and enjoy the view. Charlie is a funny, active old guy with lots of personality. He is vocal about his food and towards anyone who might wander close to the house. We had a fun time tugging his rope toy together. Shannon is quiet and timid. It took some time for her to warm up to me. But once you’ve earned her trust, she is the sweetest companion! I would recommend staying at Lisa and Rick's and have agreed to sit a second time!
Such an amazing house sit! Megan was brilliant to communicate with and left detailed instructions which made the whole process really simple. The apartment is so well designed and they have made such great use of the space. If you like tech then you will especially love the apartment, it was like living in the future! The location could not be better and it was so much fun exploring Chelsea and the rest of Manhattan. It was an absolute pleasure to take care of Linda. She is such a little cutie! Any time you open the fridge prepare to see Linda hopping over to have a gander at the food! Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful apartment and look after the amazing Linda! 100% would recommend this house sit!
I absolutely loved this stay. I immediately felt right at home in a beautiful community. Skyler was wonderful. He is truly a sweetheart! It was very easy going and I had so much time to relax! There is amazing walking trails around the house as well!
