I had a great time house sitting for Allen and Chris. Communications were straightforward and easy, and upon arrival they were so welcoming I felt like a life long friend immediately. The house is beautiful and well equipped and the grounds perfect for strolling around with the dogs, and often the chickens in tow! The location is lovely with awesome views over the fields. What a fun menagerie of animals - the 3 dogs Squirt, Mylo and Belle, recent additions to the family 2 kittens Salt and Pepper and the currently 19 chickens. Feeding time was always fun! The animals were well behaved and great company for my nice relaxing housesit - highly recommended.
Our stay with Randall at Michelle's house was amazing. We arranged ahead of time to pick up the key so we were able to meet in person. Michelle is very loving, so much so that even when we arrived on the first day of petsitting she had left us lots of vegan snacks (since we talked about this and she is also vegan). Randall is a sweetie, super easy to take care of, since he sleeps most of the time. When he wanted to "chat", he would come up to us. His routine was easy to follow so we had no problems. Michelle's apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay, it is beautiful, full of plants and with good light to work from home. The only thing that could be a bit more work is finding a parking space, but Michelle had explained it to us in advance, so we took precautions to arrive early and get a spot since there are only 5 spaces on each floor. The apartment is well located and we were able to walk around the area without any problems. So, if you come without a car, it is much better. We would 100% recommend this petsitting and would definitely love to come back. Thank you so much, Michelle, for your hospitality. We really appreciate it.
This was a really lovely sit. Jen welcomed me with a lovely coq au vin dinner and made me feel right at home before she jetted off. She explained everything to me fully and I felt super comfortable managing any little quirks of Otto’s. He’s a beautiful, cuddly boy who just requires nice long walks, feeding, play time, and cuddles and he’s all set. The apartment is great and has everything you’d need for a comfy and productive stay. There’s loads of shops nearby and the nearest station is just a 10 minute walk away so there’s very easy and quick access to central London. I unfortunately had to leave the sit slightly early due to a family bereavement and Jen couldn’t have been more understanding and flexible when I suggested my best friend fill in for me for the last few days - I will forever be grateful for her kindness in a stressful moment. Would highly recommend this sit and I hope to be back someday!
