Where do I begin?

Beverly is the most wonderful person and host. I felt welcomed like I was visiting a family friend. She is warm, kind, fun, generous and has great communication. She never felt far away, even from her travels across the world, and left me with so many contacts of folks at the dog park that I felt so supported should I need it.

The home is goregous! There is lots of natural light, it is kept very clean, it feels like a home you can relax in, it is walking distance to everything amazing that Newcastle has to offer, it is in a lovely neighbourhood and the dog park is full of daily visitors you will come to know and love (both the human and dog kind), and who all know Mo!

So on to the main event, Mr Mo! Oh how I miss him already! He is a big cuddly bear who likes walks as much as a belly rub. I couldn't leave the house without a stranger asking me "Is that Mo?" and coming over for a cuddle. He is the best companion, so well behaved, a sweet heart full of snuggles, a hit at the park and will follow you around everywhere you go, always making sure you're okay. I love his sweet smile and his gorgeous nature. I would be so delighted to care for Mo anytime and hope to be able to read in the sun with him again soon.

I also had the pleasure of caring for Beverly's daughter's dog, Miss Evie. She is energetic in the best way and is so much fun to take to the park and get lots of ball throwing in. I work from home and she slept at my feet while I worked and rewarded me for food and play with lots of kisses. Her facial expressions are like no other I have seen, she is so expressive and adorable. She is also very smart, and a quick learner as we tried new things at meal time and on the lead and she was an extremely good girl learning these quickly.

I truly I hope I get to see Beverly, Mo and Evie again and encourage anyone who has the opportunity to take this wonderful sit with the best company!

Louise
We had an incredible time caring for Ralph and looking after Louise and Johnny’s gorgeous home!

Ralph is a beautiful dog with a lovely personality and was very easy to care for. He’s great on and off the lead and there are plenty of parks and walks nearby. He loves a cuddle and will happily take up his fair share of space on the bed, but is also a good listener and will stay in his own bed- he just likes to be close to you!

The home is super spacious, with a large and well equipped kitchen, a great living area, and lovely backyard. We had a great time exploring the neighbourhood and the area is well connected by transport. Louise and Johnny were very welcoming and gave us a thorough handover with all the information we needed, and remained communicative throughout the sit.

Thanks for a wonderful time!

Some of the sweetest hosts around! Annie and her partner Jay made me feel very at home and comfortable in their beautiful home. Argos loves ball and walks so exercise is simple and straight forward - spent about 1.5-2 hrs a day with walks and park time. He is a very sweet and loyal dog. Belly rubs are the way to his heart. Safe neighborhood and lots of options for walks/nearby dog parks. I really appreciated Annie’s quick communication and answered all my concerns. Highly recommend!

Wendy
I used to live in Atlanta, so I know a little about the city. When this sit in Castleberry Hill popped up, I jumped on it. It's such an interesting neighborhood and so close to downtown.

Snetiker and Quink were the best. Snetiker was very laid back and seemed to just enjoy laying next to me on the couch on top of her white towel. Quink was always up for some affection. And we all had a good time playing with the cat toys.

Wendy and George were great hosts. They were very responsive to all my updates. They were helpful and understanding, working with me when l thought l might have to leave the sit early because my father-in-law had died. Luckily, I only had to leave just a bit earlier than expected on the last day of the sit, so it all worked out. Their loft is lovely and has lots of fun modern conveniences. I enjoyed just walking looking at their unique stuff.

The neighborhood is adjacent to downtown and I really enjoyed being able to walk to Centennial Park. It is also an easy walk to many museums, the aquarium, and a few huge arenas.

I would definitely do this sit again.

Time spent with nervous Mabel and tri-paw Hector is time very well spent indeed. It was wonderful earning Mabel's trust by allowing her to approach and feel confident and comfortable and awe inspiring to watch how Hector has adapted to his tri-paw status - something much more profound and challenging than a tri-paw dog from my experience. We watched him do things we couldn't even begin to imagine he could do. They are both fabulous characters and despite Mabel's nervousness, she was very happy to land in bed with you for a night time snuggle. Although slightly under the direction of Mr A Hitchcock with her tendency to sit on your chest and stare at you while you sleep, which lead to a few interesting moments in the wee small hours ;-). Hector was more of a leg man and would be most put out when you tried to move while he snoozed. Both a delight and very easy cats.

Tarnya's home is in a very attractive old residential street in fabulous Cirencester, not far from the town with all its charms, cafes and restaurants and great shopping if you are so inclined. At the back of a house is a lovely park for a wander, picnic or even a round of crazy golf! Plus Cirencester is a wonderful launch point for exploring the whole of the Cotswolds. Added to that is the lovely sun trap garden for lazier days, incredibly peaceful with quick access to hub bub without the encroachment on the home itself.

Tarnya was great to communicate with, with a very thorough guide, clear guidance on everything and very responsive to any questions both before and during the sit.

Thank you Tarnya, Mabel and Hector - the latter whose paws are much missed!

Davy
Davy and Shari were super helpful and thorough in their prep for this house sit, they left detailed notes about the care for Bowie, Pepper and their pet plants. Bowie is a dream dog and an absolute sweetheart.
Pepper is a very well behaved puppy with a lot of energy, loves her walks and playtime with Bowie.

Two very sweet and fun pets to watch, we will miss them. Davy and Sharis house is beautiful and very comfortable for the stay, we would sit for them again anytime. Thanks!
