Jet the Labrador and Tiggy the cat really are candidates for the best pets you could ever wish to meet. Tiggy is so beautiful and so affectionate, making that friendly cat growling sound when she sees you and seeking to sit on your lap in the evenings. She will gaze at you fondly and it feels such a privilege to be accepted by this lovely creature. You will often find Tiggy and Jet asleep next to each other, cat and dog are such good friends - I hadn't seen that close relationship between a cat and a dog before. Jet should have her photo taken and put up in every vet's surgery with a sign saying, 'This is what a Labrador should look like'. She is the epitome of good health and proper exercise. Expect to throw the ball for her with one of those far-throwing flingers and have her almost beat the ball to the ground: she is an Olympic athlete of a dog. She loves to walk and she must never be robbed of the two long walks a day that keep her so fit and happy. It is incredibly rewarding to walk her - to see her complete enjoyment and love of life, and there are many very beautiful walks to be had in the locality. Jet is much admired wherever you take her and a complete credit to her owners - she is perfectly socialised, has great recall, is beautifully behaved and full of fun. She is such a well-rounded, confident, joyful and lovely dog. It absolutely broke my heart to leave Tiggy and Jet.
We spent a few lovely days in Bantry looking after Spot, Duo, Puck and Petra. The house is situated in a beautiful scenic area just a short distance from Bantry town. Maureen is a really lovely person and she made us feel very welcome in her home. We were fortunate to have had time for a cup of tea and a nice chat with Maureen before she left on her trip. The pets were a delight to care for. Spot is a quiet and gentle dog and very affectionate. She loves to be petted and taken for a walk and enjoys playing with her toys. Duo, the older cat, spends most of her day relaxing around the house and needs little care. She does love to be petted and brushed. Puck, the younger cat, come and goes throughout the day. She also loves to be petted. Petra, the turtle, only needs to be checked during the day and spends all her time in the pool at the side of the house. We really enjoyed this pet sit and would highly recommend it to others.
Thanks Charlotte for taking the time to show us around and introduce us to the neighborhood bar/restaurant. We had a relaxing time with early morning walks on the beach with Miko, such a sweet boy. Thanks for letting us use the car to get to the shops/beach and golf club, it was much appreciated!
I'm so grateful to have had the sweet opportunity to stay at Carol and Bruce's LOVELY home. I quickly fell in love with Minnie's personality. She's funny and absolutely adorable. Carol is easy to communicate with and left thorough instructions. Remy is also a great help! Overall, I'd say it was a spectacular stay and I would definitely come back + recommend this stay! :) I miss Minnie so much already!
Nice cozy home on the lake! Both dogs are very loving with you and each other and enjoy their walks around the loop road. Joanne had a google meet with me to start the engagement which was nice. We kept in communication via text in the days leading up to and during the sitting.
Lovely owners, lovely home, and lovely dog! Rory was such a treat, she was great company, so affectionate and so well behaved. Dina and David are wonderful people, very kind and hospitable. Lots of great walkable places to explore and quiet neighborhood. I really enjoyed!
