Fiona and Andrew were such warm and friendly hosts, I could not have asked for anything more. They were so welcoming and explained everything so clearly on my arrival. Inka was absolutely adorable I just wanted to cuddle her all the time. Unfortunately she had hurt her paw prior to my stay so I could only walk her around their rather large garden on an extending lead a few times a day. But she seemed fine with that, and rested most of the time. I also administered her liquid antibiotics into her morning meal. Inka especially enjoyed it when I tickled her on her lower back, and sometimes liked me to play with her by holding on to her rag toy while she grabbed it with her teeth and shook her head vigorously. Having had a little more time on my hands however I was able to enjoy short visits to lovely nearby historic villages such as Amersham and Berkhamstead. I would definitely recommend this house/pet sit.

I will begin by saying that Stan is the best cat in the entire world and was the absolute highlight of this sit, only to be seconded by Joanna and Paul who were the kindest, funniest, most accommodating people. Hands down the most enjoyable time I’ve had yet on a sit. The house was beyond cozy and I honestly had a hard time getting myself to leave as Stan gives every form of entertainment London has to offer a real run for its money. Jo and Paul were so communicative and friendly - a true pleasure to interact with - and made the transition to and from the sit a breeze. I couldn’t have picked a better place to spend the holidays! They so kindly provided a wonderfully detailed guide to the house and surroundings which came in so handy and I’ve never felt more welcome! 10 thumbs up!!

Not only was this sit set in paradise, but Meredith and Jonathan were both warm and welcoming. Communication was easy and everything ran smoothly. I felt so welcome in their home and they were super generous.

Chai is hands down the most well-behaved dog I have ever watched. She is such a sweetheart, easy-going, and still playful.

You are lucky if you get selected to pet sit for them!

A lovely sitting in a delightful location. Both Ally and Charlie are really great people. They were organised well in advance of the sitting and we kept in touch in the weeks leading up to the sit, as we arranged things like arrival times (I was kindly picked up from the station) and was even asked for a shopping list which kept me going for the whole 3 weeks!

I wasn't short of help as their friends and neighbours were always on call in case I needed help - not that I did, because the 4 page info guide had everything I needed in terms of running the house, local amenities, pet care, etc. One of the neighbours did have me round for tea though, it's that sort of friendly rural area.

The house is cleaned every week which made the housekeeping even more seamless. Lulu the dog was an absolute lady, always well behaved and very obedient when outside. They were always contactable if I needed anything (which again I didn't), and kept me posted as they were on their way back home. The whole experience was seamless and I thoroughly recommend this sitting to anyone!

Looking after Sunny in Salisbury was our first introduction to housesitting in the UK and we are grateful to Kate and David for choosing us to look after their much loved rescue dog Sunny.
Their Welcome Pack was very comprehensive and we had a great handover from their lovely friend Fi who had been staying with Sunny the week before.
Sunny is an absolute sweetheart, she is very well trained, has great recall when out on walks and knows the house rules. She loves being around you and loves her belly rubs. We miss her already.
Kate and David's house is in a great location in Salisbury with lovely wood walks at the end of the road and only a 20 minute walk into the centre of Salisbury past Salisbury Cathedral. Their kitchen is well equipped, the bed is comfy and the shower is great. There is a lovely little suntrap in the garden to sit out and enjoy the fresh air.
Kate and David gave us great tips on where to eat, what to visit and also left us a pass to visit Salisbury Cathedral. Don't miss the Saturday market, a great place to stock up on some lovely local products. Salisbury is a very friendly city and quite a few people recognised Sunny when we were out on our walks and stopped for a chat.
Thank you Kate, David and Sunny for making our first housesit in the UK such a wonderful and memorable experience.
