Stewart was very welcoming when I arrived but Abby was even more so. He explained to me very well Abby's needs and the functioning of his apartment as well as the complex where he lives. Communication before, during and after the dogsit was constant. Abby is adorable and so easy to love. She loves people but not so much other dogs. She is constantly looking for caresses and a belly rub. She likes to walk and sniff all the way. As Stewart was newly moved in he didn't have a coffee maker or kettle but there was a wonderful coffee machine in the club house. There was everything, latte, cappuccino, mocchacino, hot chocolate, tea and all free of charge. It was easy to fit into my routine when I was taking Abby out. It was the first time that I had to be with a dog 24 hours a day, but everything went beyond my expectations. Abby behaves very well in the car. We therefore visited the historic villages of Winter Garden, Mount Dora, Clermont and Windermere. We drove on the weekend to Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive, hiked to Lake Louise State Park and Bill Frederik Park. Stewart and Abby are so lovely and I have no hesitation in recommending them to you.

We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Karen & Suzanne’s place. They have an eclectic bunch of animals who were all very loving and enjoyed the company! We were able to explore the local area, and go for a few walks, enjoy the sunshine and swim plenty. They had everything we needed and were very easy to communicate with if anything came up!

I had a lovely time house sitting for Maren! Tessa is a super sweet and well-behaved dog. She's a perfect walker, and we had a nice time exploring the neighborhood and some local sites. Odie and Mokey are great cats, and warmed up to me right away. I would definitely house-sit for Maren and her crew again!
I absolutely loved meeting Rebekah and staying with Nemo Nemo and little Nook. Rebekah is interesting, kind and generous. Communication was easy. She even accommodated my request to arrive a day early due to a train strike. Nemo Nemo was a little shy with me. I understand she is quite selective about who she warms up to, so I didn’t take things too personally. She slept with me and allowed short daytime petting so I just tried to respect her wishes. Nookie was another story all together. I didn’t expect much from her either because she is a new household member, is young and is still being socialized. But, she and I really connected and she spent most of her time on my lap when I was at the apartment. I loved watching the the two cats becoming more tolerant of each other as the days went on. Rebekah’s apartment is very comfortable and had everything I needed during my stay in Nice. The location, while not in the center, is easily reached by public transport. I felt very much at home and plan to return in the future to visit my new friend (Rebekah) and to see two of my favorite cats again.
