Boss and Zoe were excellent company. They behaved very well, love to play, and are very lovely. The house was super clean, and Blake and Sian are very friendly. They left us clean sheets and towels, and everything was very pleasant. I definitely recommend it!
Once I had been offered the sit Denise and Chris kept me informed as to the latest COVID regulations both in France and for the ferry crossing. They welcomed me with a delicious home cooked dinner on my arrival in Le Fleix and left me detailed notes on the cats, house and area. I enjoyed my time with Toby, Izzie and Maisie, staying in their open plan house and large garden in the French countryside. Just a stone's throw from The Dordogne, it is tempting to stay local, but with Bergerac, St Emilion and Bordeaux nearby I just had to explore. I can certainly recommend this sit.
Annette and Andrew were extremely welcoming to me, making me feel at ease and welcome from the off. Smudge, Tommy, and Arnie were a pleasure to look after, and all such good natured. The house is lovely and comfortable and close to all amenities, with a lovely café / bakery, greengrocers and Antique Centre. There are some wonderful walks and countryside also in the surrounding area. I highly recommend this house / pet sit. Thank you very much Annette and Andrew
I had such a wonderful time at Meghan and Matt's sweet sunny side home! Their 4 babies are awesome! Everyone has unique personalities, you never get bored watching and playing with them:) I never had spooning with dog, but I had with Nathan, their lovely Dachshund:) He made me very happy watching him sleeping next to me. And their amazing 3 cats are always greet me at the door when I came back, and sat next to me or on my lap while I was working computer:D Their apt was super clean, and stylish. And I was surprised how convenient to get everywhere, with quite, safe environment and beautiful trees on side of street. Still only 10-15 min to Manhattan. Highly recommended to everyone! Thank you again!!!
The housesit for Carrie with the wonderful Mojo was a real treat. Communication with Carrie before and during the sit was easy, structured and without problems. Detailed , printed instructions were provided so you always knew what to do. It was possible for me to arrive a day earlier and stay in the guest room, and we did the same on departure. This is especially convenient if you have a long journey. (I flew in from Germany). The house is close to the River Thames, close to shops for daily necessities, (Waitrose, Saynsbury) and well connected to local transport. All important household appliances (washing machine, dryer, dishwasher) are available. It is also tastefully furnished with a lot of love. For this reason, I would recommend this housesit especially to people who also appreciate an aesthetic atmosphere and take care of the furnishings. In summer, there is a cosy terrace to be enjoyed. Mojo is a lovely, gentle dog, easygoing, fun and wonderful. We went for three walks a day and there were never any mishaps. Mojo is very well behaved, rides the bus with no problems and we have been able to go on trips to Hyde and Bishop Parc. But if you have to go grocery shopping and you can't take him with you take him with you, he waits at home without any problems. I was happy to send daily messages to Carrie about Mojo's wellbeing. As a dog owner myself, I know how much you love and care for your pets when you give them into someone's care. I highly recommend this housesit and would be very happy to do it again sometime. What can we say that has not already been mentioned in the previous posts? Liz and Derek are wonderful humans and gracious hosts. They are organized, quick and clear in their communication. The home is clean and well appointed with a comfortable living room and a large leather reclining sofa that is large enough for everyone to cuddle at night while watching TV. If you are blessed with good weather, they have an outdoor entertaining area that will serve your needs. The home is situated two blocks from a large park that is easy for walking the dogs. The dogs are beyond loveable. Ben, although aging, is still extremely attentive and very aware of his surroundings. He is super sweet! Flash is a lover and will walk/run to your heart's content. Paco, the parrot, is hilarious and knows how to command Alexa. Lucky is beautiful and easy to care for. Overall, this was a very enjoyable and heartwarming sit!
