Having Shannon take care of our cats and house was a seamless joy! She was super responsive and reliable. We had a couple of zoom calls before we left and she kept good communication throughout our travels. She kept us updated on how things were going and even let us know when we were running low on prescription food which she then went and picked up. She was flexible when we thought our return plans might change and the boys warmed up to her quickly. She added air to the tires in the car which had been sitting for a while, and left both house and car in pristine and spotless condition. She was everything you could want in a sitter. She is welcome back anytime. The cats told me so.

Susan is friendly, responsible and a pleasure to speak with. She has excellent communication skills, left my house in perfect condition and went over and above taking my dog on wonderful, long walks in the conservation lands abutting my home and updating me with pictures and reports. I would highly recommend Susan and hope she comes back here to take care of Sadie again.

Cailey was the perfect pet-sitter! She arrived when she said she would, had read the house manual so she only had to ask a few questions, and was fun to talk to. Once we were gone, she gave us updates on the cats and kept us abreast of their activity. Cailey departed our house before we returned but had left the house spotless and had loaded the washer with her sheets and towels. I was also comforted to know that Cailey had some vet tech experience since our cats are outdoor cats and need to kept a closer eye on in case of fights or falls. She even cleaned up their hunting victims without blinking an eye and informed us when she found a worm in some cat vomit (ringworm!). She even offered to administer the medication from the vet. All this to say, please don’t hesitate to consider Cailey for your pet sitting gig - she’s reliable, level-headed, neat, and kind.

We were lucky to have Rachael pet sit for our dog, Bode for a week. Rachael arrived to our house early to meet Bode and get the lay-of-the-land before we departed for our trip. This was my first time having a stranger stay at my place, so this was a big deal for me. I had a good feeling about Kyle from the start and was excited about the idea of helping a fellow Bostonian see the unparalleled city of Austin. Like me, he works from home in the healthcare industry. I had the privilege of meeting Kyle on the first day of the sit. I found him to be friendly, funny, and affable. As this was my first time having a sitter, I texted Kyle details of the apartment and pet care as I thought of them. I appreciated him baring with me through this as I am working to now compile a user-friendly guide. Kyle was sure to communicate frequently. He updated me often about his arrival and departure and also sent pictures of himself with Gypsy during the stay. He also gave me a heads up about having someone over. The only questions he had were about the laundry, which evidently was the one thing I didn't go over. He was self-sufficient and attentive to the fine details of the apartment and the care of my cat. Kyle relieved the stress of stress of separation anxiety my cat goes through when left alone, therefore relieving me of inevitable guilt. My cat seemed to be at ease when I returned home. I could tell she missed me, but she did not seem stressed whatsoever! As Kyle promised, the apartment was not only just as clean as I left it, but cleaner. I have a bad habit of stuffing my recycling underneath the sink and procrastinating the removal. I was pleasantly surprised to find Kyle emptied the whole thing. In this he must have discovered I'm a beer drinker because he also left me a 6 pack! Not only this, but he left a bunch of food, which is great because I'll eat anything you leave in my apartment. Would absolutely have Kyle again. Highly recommend him to give you and your pets ease when traveling.

Monica took wonderful care of our pets, in particular our senior dog who requires more work than our younger dog. She was communicative and reached out when questions came up and we felt very comfortable knowing that she was was taking great care of them in our absence! She left the house as we left it and we were very appreciative of the care she took with Baxter and Ruby and our home.

It was a pleasure having Denise take care of our two dogs. They ran out to great her when she arrived and liked her right away. She came prepared having read our Welcome Guide and you could tell she was a seasoned Zeewoi. She communicated with us everyday and sent us a photo of our happy dogs on one of their walks. She also took the time to wash the sheets and remake the beds. We felt very comfortable having her in our home and would highly recommend her for future sits!!

Kailyn was great. She communicated well right from the beginning. We were concerned about our dogs and leaving them for the first time since we moved to Bermuda. We have one reactive dog and Kailyn put us right at ease with trusting her experience. She sent us pictures every day and gave us updates. The dogs loved her and she took such great care of them . She also left our home clean and virtually free of dog hair when we arrived back. There is something to be said for peace of mind when leaving your pets.!

I should write that this is a very bad place, a beast to sit. No one would like to go there and I would return GLADLY!!!
Marianne has left her nice, comfortable and tidy home with a sunny terrace and little garden, great place for breakfast in September. Left an almost full fridge (including welcome drink) and when I arrived late in the evening Lia showed up immediately. She wasn't surprised at all, we´ve met already when I sitted Alba in Vevey. (At that time I wanted to have just a look and some quick information, it took the whole evening as we had an immediate friendly connection:-)))
Lia is a really cute kitty, friendly, beautiful and very independent; stays outside most the time but shows up every now and then to see if there´s still someone. Sitter leaving home isn't a problem though, Vevey and surroundings are really beautiful.
When kitty comes in the evening, she needs a "sink opener" as she loves to drink flowing water. She likes to "talk" and being cuddled and belly-rubbed. Later she takes her preferred position on the backrest of the sofa and when she stretches she doesn't mind at all to touch head, neck or shoulders of the one sitting in front of her. ;-)))
Got the impression that this makes her even more purring (and me, too)
At bedtime taking a little break on her special pillow, some more cuddles and ...away she goes to see what´s going on outside. Seems very much that she lives in cats paradise.
When Marianne returned I picked her up at the station and later we went out for a fabulous fondue and had a very nice evening.
Marianne has provided all necessary informations, there´s tv, music, books, left everything to my hands. No questions left except that one: When do you leave again and Lia is in need of a servant?

We had a lovely weekend in Corfe Mullen, and were grateful for the sit that helped us to replace a cancellation. 
Mandy is a generous host and her home is comfortable and welcoming.   Diesel and Bailey are just lovely dogs and thoroughly enjoy their walks to the close-by recreation grounds.   
I recommend this sit, as it is convenient and close to Wimborne and Poole and the dogs are very well behaved.

Hannah

I had a great time sitting for Hannah and Roy Boy! I was able to stop by early and meet them in person first and Hanah made me feel welcome and comfortable.

Roy took some time to warm up to me but he did eventually come for some cuddle, scratches, and play time. Since his food, water, and litter box are all automated, it made caring for him a breeze.

Highly recommend Hannah and Roy boy!

Really good host, and company Karl is an amazing dog you will be staying in a great place close from everywhere from downtown DC, you will feel free and comfortable staying in this place with Karl.

Mia and her dog Leo are so sweet. I absolutely loved Mia's home, how organised she was about care details for Leo. The area is beautiful, next to a large park and a close drive to Washington DC. I can't recommend this sit enough. Thank you Mia for your hospitality.

Hillary was very friendly and her information about the animals was extremely helpful! I fell in love with Bea the moment I opened the door and saw her nervous little eyes. She followed me around the entire time and wanted to cuddle any time I sat or laid down. She's very easy to walk, knows where she wants to go. Mowgli was not as interested in me, but we got along just fine. He wanted attention here and there, but mostly entertained himself. Very easy to care for both of them in the lovely, clean apartment. I would go again in a heartbeat! Thank you, Hillary!
