We were just reminiscing about our time in Basalt when we realized we never left I review 😱! This was hands down one of our favorite house sits ever! Stephanie was the best and the kitties, Ralph and George were the sweetest most lovable and easy cuddle bugs to sit. We had a blast cozying up in the apartment and watching tv, skied nearby for the first time, and sat in the jacuzzi for a bit. The apt reminded us of our own - cozy and eclectic with all the touches of someone who cares for it, cooks, and rly lives there! Sounds kinda funny to write but there’s so many people where you can tell the house is not a home and this place was definitely a home. That rly warmed our hearts. Thanks for having us Stephanie! Give a kiss to the 🐱’s from us ❤️.
Notre séjour autour de Landstuhl était chouette. Comme la période de l’année était aux jours courts, nous avons bien profité du confort de la maison qui est spacieuse, fonctionnelle et tres agréable située non loin du village. Les 2 chats nous ont bien diverti : Si Meeven dispose de la vitalité et de la volonté d’un tigre avec cependant beaucoup de douceur, Shmoo est beaucoup plus dans la douceur et la délicatesse. Nous avons visité des marchés de Noel locaux, des villages typiques mais aussi un porcelainier régional bien connu des Arts de la Table. Elisabeth et Jon nous ont mis à l’aise et fait profiter des différents équipements de leur maison ; ils sont restés très disponibles lors du séjour. Je recommande !
Had a great time with Audrey, she is a super nice pup to look after. Likes to be around you just to hang out, go for a quick walk and catch session in the park, overall super happy. Place is great too, good location to get around and plenty of space to chill out. Would happily sit again :)
I couldn't be more grateful for this sit!!! Lynda was very kind and helpful before and during my stay. She prepared a paper with all the essentials for me not to forget and that came really handy! The house was just so beautiful and clean and in a very quiet area and the bed so comfortable!! The nearest supermarket was a few minutes walk, which also helped. Canterbury was a new discovery for me and I am really happy to get to visit it!! Such a lovely and charming place!! Betty stole my heart, she had me at our first look !! She is super sweet and well behaved and she made me feel so special! Solo was more independent, by nature, but she also conquered me, especially when I expected the least and she would come for cuddles and started to purr... Very good hearted creatures, and very easy to look after. Again, I really enjoyed my stay here and strongly recommend it!! Hopefully I could come back and enjoy a little more 🤗 Thank you Lynda, thank you so much!!
I had such a lovely time at Paula’s flat looking after the gorgeous Momo! Paula was warm and welcoming, I immediately felt really at home and her space is so beautiful and in a great location. Momo is such a sweet little cat and the best companion, super friendly and loving. He’s very easy to care for and looking after him was an absolute pleasure. I miss him already! I had such a wonderful time and would love to house sit again.
Squeeze is a sweet, mellow cat. He'll let you know if he needs something but is content to hang out and chill most of the time. It took him a minute to warm up to me but very quickly we were fast friends. This was a great sit. The house is older but comfortable and charming. It's on a hillside so you walk in the front door at street level and on the other side of the house is on stilts. The deck has lovely views of trees and feels like you're in the forest. There is a great TV room in the basement. Despite being surrounded by nature, the home is close to shopping and public transportation. It's just over 10 minutes on the bus to be in downtown. Communication was great! There was a problem with the internet during my stay that took a lot of coordination to solve. Despite being on vacation, Andrea took the time to make sure everything was solved. It's a comfortable place to stay, they are good people and Squeeze is a wonderful old cat. I would stay her again without hesitation.

Jessica and her pup loving team are absolutely incredible!! Hands down, it’s our dog’s favourite day of the week when he gets picked up for his hike. All we have to do is say Jessica’s name and he starts racing around the house, pawing at the front door. Plus he comes back exhausted, happy, and ready for a long nap! Jessica has great communication, tons of flexibility and always posts lots of pictures on Instagram so you can follow along on their adventures. I recommend her to anyone and everyone looking for a dog hiker!!
Jessica took such great care of our rescue pup Jack for over a week while we were away. The update photos were generally either Jack out on an adventure or snoozing peacefully after said adventure. We wouldn't hesitate to use Tails and Bails again!

Jessica at Tails and Bails is amazing! Our dog Max goes on weekly adventure hikes with her and absolutely loves it. He can be a little timid, especially with new people in the house, but he warmed up to Jessica immediately. I love that she posts stories on her instagram while out hiking so you can follow along and see just how much fun you pup is having. We are so glad we found Tails and Bails and would never go back to putting Max in daycare, now that we know he can be out hiking trails in North Van instead. Thanks Jessica!
Tails and Bails is fantastic! Jess is so attentive and loving with our pup, Henrik. He always comes home happy, tired and with many photos to show off his day's adventures with his pals. We appreciate Jess' punctuality, flexibility and warm nature. She always provides us with detailed updates from his day and asks if there is anything we'd like to work on. Henrik has stayed with her for overnight boarding as well and we couldn't have felt more comfortable with the care and playtime he was given. Would highly recommend!
We are so happy with Tails and Bails! Our pup, Porter, goes on daily adventure hikes and it has been so good for getting his energy out and also his socialization--we come home to a happy and tuckered-out dog! Jessica remains patient and committed to working with our dog, even when he gets distracted by squirrels. We've even used the boarding services and Porter had the time of his life! Our puppy Baker loved staying with Tails and Bails! Jessica was so attentive to our high energy Australian Shepherd and made sure that she was sufficiently exercised. We loved the updates and pictures throughout the day. We will definitely be choosing Tails and Bails again!
We can't say enough wonderful things about Tails and Bails. Our pup Lyric has been going on weekly adventure hikes for about 8 months now and absolutely LOVES her time on the trails. Lyric is usually timid when she first meets new people but the first time she met Jess she was wagging her tail, running between her legs and acting like they had known each other forever. Jess makes sure she understands your dogs needs, keeps you updated on how each walk went, and always responds quickly. She has gone above and beyond when I have needed to cancel or add additional hikes last minute. I would 100% recommend Tails and Bails services.

It was our dog's first time being taken care of outside of the house while we were away and he seemed very happy and content when we picked him up. Shabnam was very kind to adapt to the way our dog is used to and was very considerate of our concerns. Overall our experience was very pleasant and we will be leaving our dog at Paws & Posh in the future.
Fairy Dog Mama has been a life saver. Courtney is just the best. She is accommodating, flexible, easy to communicate with, and is super knowledgeable! She has taken care of both our reactive dog Farley and our cat Luna. She has been there for us on so many occasions and always ensures Farley is happy and tuckered out during those days I was back in the office. Courtney understands special requirements for our reactive dog which we appreciate to ensure our training journey is kept on track. We also had several visits from Steph who was also great. Steph at Fairy Dog Mama has been walking our dog Ollie for almost a year. She has been really kind and patient as Ollie has a few anxious quirks while also being a very energetic dog. Courtney and Taylor are the absolute best. I've never trusted anyone to take care of my puppy like I do with them. They are so caring, gentle, and kind. They work with some of the best force-free dog trainers to provide excellent care. Courtney took our puppy for an entire month while we were away for work. She sent us so many photos, videos, and allowed us to video chat with our pup 😂. We felt at ease the entire trip knowing our puppy was being loved on and cared for by Courtney. We've used other dog boarding companies, as well as friends, and we never felt the level of comfort that we did with Courtney. She only takes 1 dog at a time, and showers them with love, affection, and cuddles. She also follows your schedule so you don't have to worry about your dog being on a different routine when you get home. If you need a dog walker, a dog boarder, or any of the other services they provide - don't hesitate! Truly the best! We love you fairy dog mama. We started working with Fairy Dog Mama in January 2021 and never looked back. Taylor is our “fairy” and she is amazing! She’s trustworthy, reliable, communicative, and so kind. We trust her with our fur baby 100%!! We love that they use force free methods and Taylor is continuing her education with positive reinforcement dog training. I always know our dog is in good hands and having the best time when he’s out on his walks! Plus, Taylor posts a photo of each walk and it’s so nice to see our pup, Quincy, with all his friends! Quincy does group walks and comes back happy and tired. (Which is great because he’s a high energy Aussie!) We had a wonderful experience with Taylor and Courtney at Fairy Dog Mama! Both are so professional, reliable, and communicative, and Taylor was amazing with our dog, Hunter. Hunter can be pretty stubborn and picky, but Taylor won him over immediately with her patience, positivity, and love. Hunter would still be having walks with Taylor if we hadn't moved away. Taylor stayed at our house for 9 days while we were away. She took great care of the dog, 2 cats and our house. We felt so secure leaving our animals with her. She continues to take our dog out for a walk once a week and she does some work with him around his anxieties when encountering other dogs as we see such an improvement in him when we walk him. I would not hesitate to recommend the Fairy Dog Mama. They are great and have a wonderful way with animals.
My pup Willow LOVES going to Happy Tails! It is so fun to see how excited she is when we arrive for a day of fun. Fontaine and her team take such good care of the dogs and manage their play and interaction in a safe, supervised way. Willow has also boarded with Happy Tails and it is so nice to know she is well taken care of and snuggled when she stays there. I am so glad the Happy Tails team is there! My puppy needs more exercise than I can give her during week and Fontaine and the team provide the perfect solution with their Daycare. They provide enough structure in the day to ensure the puppy energy has an outlet and also a place for some quiet time. They have been instrumental in helping her learn to calm herself when she needs it. She is a much better behaved thanks to the team at Happy Tails. On top of that, this is a local business I am proud to support. They always come through, and have a good tech to make bookings and payments simple. I am so thankful that our neighbor recommended Happy Tails.
Happy Tails is absolutely wonderful. They provide amazing enrichment games, outdoor play time, indoor nap time, and a whole bunch of other activities suited to your dog's personality and size. They prioritize the safety and well-being of all of their pups and are so great to work with. My dog has extreme separation anxiety and he runs into the daycare every time we drop him off. The staff at Happy Tails have been nothing but patient, loving and so generous in caring for my dog's special needs and valuing his uniqueness. It is a true testament to Fontaine and her team that my puppy adores them all. They are always professional, super responsive, and have an excellent electronic platform for scheduling that is incredibly easy to use. I cannot thank Happy Tails enough for taking such good care of our doggo!
I cant even begin to explain how grateful I am to the staff at Happy Tails, I feel so lucky to have found Fontaine and even though there was a wait to get into private walks it was so worth it. My dog Lu is a nervous rescue, I was bringing her to work daily and thought that doing walks twice a week might help her face the world and become a little more braver! I found happy tails and reached out to Fontaine about Lu. I anxiously listed everything about her, all her quirks and issues and expressed that Lu would be scared having someone new come into the apartment and Fontaine was incredibly helpful and understanding. We started with either my dad or sister being in the apartment when Fontaine arrived to take Lu for walks. They would help clip her leash on and begin the walk, gradually fading into the background during the walk, leaving the two of them to get acquainted. Over time Lu is just obsessed with Fontaine, if we run into her around North Van Lu can not contain herself. Witnessing how much Lu adores Fontaine means the world to me. Having a nervous and reactive dog can be challenging and a bit isolating. However seeing Lu grow and come out of her shell with the staff from Happy Tails is beyond what I ever imagined. Lu has been slowly introduced to other dog walkers Kenzee & Jessie and they both have formed a bond with her. I feel so comfortable leaving Lu in their hands. Getting Lus dog walk report is the highlight of my day, hearing how happy she is and that though she will never catch a bird or squirrel she still gives it her all everyday. Anyways worlds longest review, I could say so much more about how grateful I am to Fontaine, Kenzee & Jessie. 3 years ago, when I adopted Lu, I could never have imagined that she would be where she is today. My dog Luca recently joined the Happy Tails family. He is a young rescue with a few quirks and lots of goofy energy. He was immediately welcomed by Fontaine and her wonderful staff. I was reassured that they had no problem helping Luca learn how to socialize with his furry friends with guidance and positive reinforcement. I noticed how well he responded to their kindness and experience instantly. The staff truly care about each and every dog there. The staff are very knowledgeable and give such great advice that has been immensely beneficial to my dog. I love the reports shared at the end of his day, who he played with, what he did etc. I always look forward to their Instagram posts and pictures. Happy Tails provides a wonderful and safe environment inside and out with lots of fun activities. I highly recommend this daycare and am so happy my puppy is part of their family. 🐶💙
Happy Tails was a life saver when I got my new puppy. I wasn't pleased with any other local daycares, as they had way too many dogs and not enough attendants (basically lifeguarding). Happy Tails prioritizes puppy care (1 person for every few dogs) and listens to the owners needs and wants. Whiskey absolutely loves going here where he receives the best care, training, and so many snuggles. He quite literally comes home wagging a very happy tail. I highly recommend the Happy Tails team for all doggy needs (they do boarding too!).
Fontaine and her team are hands down the most knowledgable, kind, and caring canine professionals that I have ever encountered. Their attention to detail, effectiveness, and total organizational skills were not only very much appreciated but also a welcome relief. Can't say enough good things about Fontaine and the team at Happy Tails! We have a very anxious, but very social pup who needed a safe-feeling social outlet. Our (highly knowledgeable) trainer recommended Happy Tails and they were super accommodating to her needs, allowing us to build up her time there very slowly until she was comfortable. The dogs are put into appropriate play groups, supervised closely, have enforced rest time etc. so they go above and beyond to keep all the pups safe and happy. We don't even NEED doggy daycare as I work from home, but we use it weekly so our pup can get some extra play time.
I have been using Treks for pets for many years now (over 8 years?) for both of my beautiful Aussie Shepherds. I ALWAYS feel like T4P has the dog’s best interest at heart. All the Trek leaders are confident, patient and truly love what they are doing. Danielle and her team run a very good business, in my experience. Now we have my daughter's dog trekking with T4P when he is in town and he loves it!
I was almost in a near death experience with a grey Toyota RAV4 marked “marvellous Maggie” The driver of the company vehicle, marked “Treks for pets” plate # Treks 1 was speeding in a residential area at over 85km/h. The lady driver blew a stop sign at this high rate of speed, barely missing T Boning my vehicle by mere inches in an intersection. The vehicle had a white dog in the front seat, distracting the driver, as well as a driver with blatant disregard to both other people, and the animal’s safety. I would recommend not choosing this driver to transport your pets, as it could end up in a deadly accident sooner or later. The Police was contacted and a report was filed with this vehicle/driver.
We have been using Treks 4 Pets for years now and are thrilled we found them when we did! Our dog Petra a multi gen labradoodle who has grown up with Treks and has gone on scheduled weekly walks, always comes back with a smile on her face (literally) and as happy as can be! We have also used their border services when on vacation and always had the same results! Danielle the owner of Trek’s has been wonderful and extremely loving towards Petra and all of the other four legged trekers. We have no hesitation in recommending them to take care of your four legged member of the family.
Danielle and her team are fantastic, from the moment of the first introduction to our interaction every week - the service is timely, friendly, and most importantly they make such an effort to get to know each dog. Our dog Barley knows what days her groups walks are, she gets so excited and is by the door waiting for a pack leader to pick her up. The post-walk email updates are such a delight to read, and is such a nice added touch to the service, we love reading about what Barley and her buddies were up to on their walk.
I cant say enough great things about Trek 4 Pets. Ive always been so nervous to leave my dog with a dog walking company as everyone has 'some friend of a friend who had a bad experience' - and like everyone, my dog is my baby, so we stress about them - but Trek 4 Pets has really blown us away. The owner, Danielle, is super attentive and detail oriented. She met with us before she agreed to take us (and our dog) on as clients and discussed everything from our dog's needs, to behavioural issues, our efforts on training, etc to ensure he would be a good addition to their pack. They provide a GPS track of each walk, put a GPS collar on the dogs and send a very detailed report on how the walk went (the good and the bad, all explained in a very judgement free and caring way so you know exactly what happened on the walk and can work on it in your own training!) along with tons of photos. She is always so accommodating of last minute requests for extra walks too, and answers our emails in a very prompt and professional manner. The other reason I love this company so much is the woman who walks our dog - Emma! Our dog just LOVES her and you can tell its really genuinely reciprocated. She treats every dog so well, and manages their personalities differently. Every time our dog sees Emma, he gets that uncontrollable puppy-butt-wiggle that he reserves for his most special people. I feel really good about his walks knowing he's that thrilled to see Emma each week. On the days I am working from home and hear his collar outside, I get a few min to watch him coming in from the car and Emma is so attentive, gentle, loving and bonded with him - its really heartwarming to see. My husband and I are very active people and have no issues providing our dog with enough walks, but we started his walks for socialization during COVID and we have continued them just because he loves them so much - he comes back visibly happy and pooped every time. I cant recommend Trek 4 Pets, Danielle, or Emma enough! Photos attached is one of the photos provided during our walk :)
Our pup has been apart of Trek4dogs for a couple weeks and I have to say, they are amazing. They take great care of the dogs, they get so much exercise, and I love the emails and pictures at the end of each trek. Danielle and her staff are quick to respond and always accommodating our ever-changing schedules, I can’t thank them enough. I would defs recommend to anyone looking for a dog walking service.
I'm not entirely sure whole loves Treks 4 Pets more, me or my dog Jack. Probably Jack. I mostly say this because he's happier to see his dog walkers than he is to see me when i get home after work!! Jack?? But seriously, Treks 4 Pets has been a game changer. He comes home super happy and super tired after every adventure. They provided me with a bunch of pictures of them out and about and even how far they walk each day. Jack is lucky to have such great dog walkers. I can't recommend them enough!
Our dog loves treks 4 pets she goes running to the door when they arrive to pick her up and comes home super happy. Danielle and the team have been so good about accommodating our dog care needs even last minute. Treks 4 pets has been amazing with my new rescue dog. She came to us with little training and some behavioural issues. Treks 4 pets has been taking her out first on private treks and now group treks and I really notice the difference on how much better her manners are with other dogs are. She also LOVES them and is so happy when they show up to take her trekking and she is so nice and calm after her treks it gives us a nice break having a very high energy young dog.

I love that we get an email each time with details of the walk, including a map of where they ventured and pictures. I also love the client portal for booking - so easy to use. And they have always been super responsive and great with our changing schedule. Can't say enough good things!
Treks4pets is now taking my second dog out for treks and taking care of her when we are away. We have been trusting our furry family to them since they started their business. Our dogs love to go for treks and I wouldn’t trust anyone else to take them. I love that the staff work on their manners and training on the treks. We just got back from 3 weeks away and treks 4 pets took care of our dog and she is so happy and calm I can tell they made sure she didn’t miss us at all.

When we used to live in Downtown, our pup was the luckiest because she was so incredibly well taken care of by the entire Stay Pooched team. Over the years, we’ve gotten the pleasure of meeting various walkers of Stay Pooched and they were all so loving and caring for our senior dog. We never had to worry! Our dog has a funny tendency of eating every little thing on walks, including cigarette butts and excrement of all sorts, but the entire Stay Pooched team always kept an eye on her like a hawk and made sure she was safe! I highly, highly recommend Stay Pooched! Thank you again!

For over a year my dog has been adventuring with Stay Pooched and she always has the best time! The app they use makes scheduling and communication super easy and the best part is getting photos from the walk!
We’ve been using Stay Pooched’s services for nearly a year now, and couldn’t be happier. The dog walkers are reliable, great with our dog (and patient, as he’s a puppy), and friendly. The post-walk update message and pictures are a great touch. Would strongly recommend! Sara and Natalya are wonderful.
I cannot recommend Stay Pooched enough! My dog goes for weekly walks with Natalya and he absolutely loves it. Natalya is professional, caring, responsible, and goes above and beyond to treat your dog like her own. I don’t know what I’d do without Stay Pooched to give me a break once a week and take my guy up to the woods for a good and tiring play time!
Highly recommend if you want your pooch and pets to have fun. So much attention and care to the pictures, updates, report card, so fun. Quincy looks forward to his beach days and notice a big difference in his agility confidence. Lots of avoiding post beach days.
My dog and family are really lucky to have found Natalya and Madison. They love my dog Toro as if he is their own and take the best care of him. I am always so grateful for the updates on Instagram, photos and recap of each walk that he goes on. Toro waits eagerly for his weekly walks and doesn’t bother to say goodbye to me as he goes off on his adventure! This says a lot and I would recommend anyone with a dog to join the crew. Thank you for everything you do for my Toro pup.
Maggie absolutely LOVES her adventure walks. Natalya is amazing and has a wonderful way with the puppies. She takes the time to know and connect with the dogs. She sends regular updates and pictures to the owner. Highly recommended!
Samson is our 12 year old Australian Shepherd and we recently lost our other 12 year old Aussie so we wanted to try somewhere new to board him (we travel often) but at the same time were hesitant to use a commercial boarding facility where there would be a lot of different dogs everyday because of daycare and on the day we took Samson for his assessment there were quite a few dogs there. The staff at Jet Pet North Shore were friendly and welcoming, took time to ask questions and made us comfortable, they seem to care and want dogs with good demeanours. They introduced Samson to the pack and he spent time with one of the staff so they could assess him around the other dogs. We were given a tour of the facility which was very clean and well organized, each dog has a ‘cubby’ in the kitchen where they keep their food and belongings. We like the fact that they separate the dogs into 3 groups for play (small, medium, large) and there is a staff member with each group, there is an inside and an outside play space. They have a good schedule with group playtime in the mornings and afternoons and also have individual quiet time at lunch and in the evenings. Each dog has an individual sleeping room (many different sizes to choose from) and there is a picture of the dog along with info about them posted on their room door. When we picked Samson up from his assessment he was happy so we decided to board him for 4 nights. Samson is a sweet and gentle boy with a very good temperament, gets along with all dogs but at home he is a people loving ‘Velcro’ dog who loves to be petted, give kisses and be acknowledged. Jet Pet has a UTube channel and live camera for half an hour in the afternoons for each group, (you can also watch previous days) but we knew we wouldn’t be able to access it where we were going so we asked Anna (the manager) if they could send us photos while we were away. Anna was wonderful, she sent updates and photos (even a short video clip) and took time to do so even on her day off which we greatly appreciated! When we picked Samson up he was excited and happy to see us but didn’t seem like he was in a hurry to leave so we think he was treated well in our absence. Anna said she kept Samson in the front office with her his first morning so he had some ‘quiet time’ with a human to help him get used to being in a different setting and this demonstrated she really cares! They had taken the time to wash a t-shirt we had left with him as he had an accident the first night. Samson has been sleeping lots since his return (likely needs to catch up on his rest) but he is as calm as he usually is and we believe he was well taken care of! We will be boarding him again at Jet Pet North Shore and may even take him back for the odd daycare day. Thank you to all the staff (especially Anna) and Samson will see you again soon!
Original review (update at the end): Unprofessional and unreliable. To summarize, my Border collie, Freya's experience @jetpetresort_northshore didn't turn out well because they lock the dogs in at night with no one checking for hours, so she scratched their wall. They're charging me for 4 nights despite me going to pick her up after 1 night's stay, and they claim that the scratches are "at least $450 worth of damages" which is ridiculous... I offered to pay a certified handyman $30/hr to fix it (they replied no, they have own contractor). Yesterday & today their pet cams didn't even work so I said I wasn't impressed and wanted a refund for the remaining 3 nights due to their "Smile Smile Guarantee" refund policy, which they won't honour. Furthermore, they claimed I sent instagram messages saying I was satisfied with the service... I didn't even contact them through there. Needless to say, I'm never recommending Jet Pet again, and I'll be disputing the payment with my credit card provider. Update - Anna, the manager, did stay until closing to have a courteous chat with me to clear the air. Although I didn't receive a refund, she iterated that they asked me to pick up Freya for her best interest since she's not a good candidate for boarding due to anxiety, and this would be tough to troubleshoot. However Jet Pet Resort staff do think she's a good and sociable dog. They would like me to return for day care and offered me a free day in the future (instead of a refund) and are not charging me for the scratches in her room. Anna accepted my feedback to re-word their satisfaction guarantee policy and said their facilities had a night watch in the past, but they didn't have enough revenue to continue hiring and it made no difference to quality of care?. Jet Pet does monitor the guests via overhead cameras... but there's no employee on site from 7pm until 7am the next day. After the above discussion I changed my rating to an amicable 3 stars.
Our new black lab puppy has been going to Jet Pet for a couple months now, and I can’t imagine a happier, more caring and safe environment for her to socialize, grow, and learn. Every staff member that I’ve met seems committed to the well-being of each pet, right from entering their facility, to keeping our pets safe, engaged, and clean for pickup at the end of the day. Both our cat and pup stayed overnight for a week, and they both were perfectly well-cared for. Thanks very much for your professional care: Curtis, Jack, and all the rest of the staff - Ellie and Soxie will be happy customers for years to come! Best regards and see you tomorrow! This was the second time I have left Zena at jetpet. I was so happy with my experience. They were very kind and helpful considering my anxiety of leaving her. The staff are very comforting and helpful when dropping off and picking up. I got to see her play every day in the beautiful outdoor yard on the u tube videos and check on her at night. We’re so happy and relieved to have found JetPet! Our dog has long-standing fear reactivity issues with new people in our home, making at-home dog sitting impossible for us. The staff at JetPet have been incredibly understanding, patient, and accommodating with our dog’s anxiety and reactivity. We recently left her for a 5-night stay and loved being able to watch a portion of her day on the YouTube channel. We could see that she was comfortable hanging out with the small or medium dog group and around the yard staff. We also loved checking in on her through Instagram stories. We will be boarding her here for all of our future travels!
It seemed some body kept deleting my review!!! My dog Lemon had three days (November 8 to November 10 ,2023) boarding first time. We booked a grand room with camera, we could know what she was doing in her room. I found she looked bored and pleased Jet pet her some toys, they were nice and gave her. We went back home from trip yesterday.we picked her up in the afternoon on November 10,2023, we gave her a shower and found swollen parts under her arms, a long fresh red part around her neck. All the red swollen parts were under harness. I emailed Jet Pet hoping to know what happened immediately.Nobody answered me. I guessed that someone pulled her very hard and the harness scratched her skin too much and hurt her skin. My son cried when he saw the swollen skin.Today(November 11,2023),we brought Lemon to see her veterinary , the doctor gave her some medicine and cream.
Our two pups have had many great stays at Jet Pet. Both dogs are very excited when we drop them off (one is a Border Collie who would not go inside if she wasn’t happy ). Great staff and great facility.
Jet Pet was amazing for Pepper’s first daycare experience and sleep away from home. For a high energy breed I was a bit worried but the kind and caring staff put me at ease right away. She stayed five nights and I felt totally comfortable- the play cams and Instagram updates showed her having a great time! She was given naps as I requested and the staff followed my other care instructions as requested. They also gave her a bath before home time and washed her bed and blanket. She was happy to see me but didn’t want to leave! Happy smiles from her stay.
It was Lucky’s first time to be in a dog boarding place. Jack and the team have made a pleasant and welcoming experience to Lucky. Kate did a wonderful job in walking us through the process. Lucky was a happy boy when we picked him up after 3-days. Thank you everyone and Lucky will surely come back to see you all again.
JetPet is under new management and it is like a whole new facility! The exterior outdoor yard and the interior have been upgrade over the past months with no disruptions to care or service. Best of all my dog lives the staff and is so happy to arrive and be greeted by her human friends. When I pick her up she is happy and tired. The staff are faithful to take pictures throughout the day so you can get a ‘sense’ of the day. My pup is camera shy, a diva and photogenic…but they try! Thanks so much Kurtis and team! Jane S.
This is our favourite dog sitter in Vancouver. Our dog is a little fussy with who looks after but adores Lauren and settled so quickly. She is great at helping our naughty sausage socialise with other dogs, gives lots and lots of cuddles and walkies and we don’t ever worry while we are away as she is in 100% the best hands. We got photo updates and messages letting us know how our doggo is getting on and it’s so nice to have someone local that does the same daily walks so it’s not too scary for our doggo being somewhere new. I trust Lauren with the most important members of my family as she treats them as if they are her family! From the minute we met her, you could tell there was an instant bond and trust. She has a natural ability with dogs. I never worry that they aren't getting the best care with her, from dressing them appropriately for the weather, and even coming back to check on them before leaving the building, even if she's already finished her appointment with them. I am always happy to get reports of her visits, of how it goes and what they get up to. I know I can really rely on Lauren. I appreciate the fact that if they won't walk far due to the bad weather, she makes sure to spend extra time to hang with them to give them love and attention. I really like using Lauren for dogcare, because she is very trustworthy, reliable, goes above and beyond the scope of dog care, the dogs love her and she loves them! I never have to worry because I know they are getting the most love and attention possible.
I honestly don't think I can ever write a review that fully describes the way Lauren has impacted our family. I met her while she was walking other dogs I knew from my building and I instantly could see that Lauren was different than anyone else. We have now had Lauren in our lives for two and a half years and honestly we are so lucky to have found her. She is a second mother to my Bella. Lauren sees every dog that she works with as her child. I was incidentally two days away from giving birth to my second child when I called Lauren to see if she may be able to help with Bella while I was going to be in hospital. We had about an hour conversation on the phone and then she came the next day to meet myself and Bella. From the very beginning they fell in love. Bella adores Lauren and vice versa. I can't explain to you the relief I had that we had Lauren during this time. She was so accommodating to us. Lauren assesses the dogs she walks and cares for on a continuous basis. She keeps communication open all of the time with updates and photos. I have Lauren to thank for the most beautiful photos of Bella (including the one I've added to this review). My Bella is a very anxious unconfident girl but with Lauren she seems to lose all of that. The bond they have and the relationship they have is unbelievable. Recently we went camping and decided not to take Bella as it was our first time camping with our kids. I didn't feel sad or worried about not taking Bella as she was going to be with Lauren. Literally Lauren is Disneyland and Love all wrapped up for Bella. Lauren is a trustworthy and genuine person. She not only spends extra time with Bella... talking, cuddling and kissing her before she knocks on the door she also has gained such a bond with my kids. We love her and appreciate Lauren so much!
I always know our little dog will have big fun when she stays with Lauren! Our dog loves her and I never have to think about her while I’m gone, zero dog parent guilt. Highly recommend.
Main street Dog care has taken care of our dog several times, all with the same result. our buddy returns home the happiest we have seen him, clearly from the love Lauren extends to her canine friends. whether its just a day walk, an overnight stay or an extended homestay Lauren provides the most amazing care for our dog and many times sends us photos to show us how happy buddy is in her care. actually Laurens photo skills are quite excellent too! we will never hesitate to trust our dogs health, safety and well being to Lauren and the Main street dog care team. thanks Lauren!
Lauren is amazing! I've left Elvis with one or two professionals before for a few days and had never been that happy with the result. Lauren came recommended to me by a client and I'm so glad we found her. It's so obvious how much she cares for the animals in her care, and she really goes the extra mile to make sure that your fur baby will be happy. We got lots of text updates and TONS of cute photos (including the one I'm attaching), and it was just so relieving to know that he was happy with her and that she was making the kinds of decisions for him that I would. Hands down the most relaxed I've been leaving him with anyone other than my own husband.
Lauren is amazing! She takes my pup on private and group walks on a regular basis. My dog gets so excited each and every time she gets picked up for her walks and will shower Lauren with love and affection. Lauren is professional, reliable and she truly loves what she does and it shows!
Lauren has looked after my dogs many times. I have used her service for over three years now. My dogs always have a great time with her, and I know I can count on her to do a great job. They definitely get first-hand treatment and affection, and it makes me very happy to know I can go on vacation while my dogs are in great hands.

I love the fact that she obviously loves my dog as much as I do. Lauren's longing to have Penelope snore beside her and let her sneeze in her face is incredible. She is beyond attentive and sweet with Penelope. I never worry because she is very trustworthy. It's not a side job for her, it's what she loves and does for her livelihood. She's extremely good at it. So good that I never get the guilt trip from Penelope when I return home. I love knowing everything will be better than I left it when I come home. I have recommended her to all my friends and will continue to do so. I will always choose Lauren!
Sweetpaws has given us a sense of calmness in our lives knowing that our little Fancy is always in good hands during her walks. We adopted Fancy when she was 3 years old. We noticed that she wasn't a very sociable dog towards people and other dogs. Sweetpaws has been able to fully understand and recognize her situation and make recommendations to make her walks more positive. Sweetpaws have been amazing ensuring that she maintains a regular routine even with a regular walker. They have built a relationship with Fancy. Sweetpaws has provided great service by showing up at the scheduled time and bringing Fancy back home safely. We are truly grateful to Sweetpaws for their treatment of Fancy.
The beginning of September my husband and I were asked to take our son’s dog as he had had an accident and wasn’t able to care for her. We were happy to do so as she is a wonderful Golden Retriever. We employed Sweet Paws to take her on hikes twice a week. This was a recommendation from our Vet. From the first meeting I was impressed. They were professional, friendly and obviously love their jobs. Ruca would be listening for the garage door on Tuesdays and Thursdays. She couldn’t get out fast enough for her walks. She would come home well exercised and the walkers always made sure she was well dried off! Highly recommend Sweet Paws.
We have been using Sweet Paws for over a year. Our dog loves going on walks with this team. The dog walkers are always friendly and take fantastic care of our dog. We have nothing but great things to say, and would highly recommend their service. Our dog has made some of his best friends on these group walks.
Sweet Paws is a saviour! Helps me ensure my very active dog gets her daily dose of outdoor time. They are always prompt, professional and friendly and the staff really love dogs. Once we were in a jam when a dog sitter cancelled last minute over the holidays and Sweet Paws helps me find walkers within 24 hours.
They do a terrific job. Totally reliable, on time and most importantly, it's so obvious that they treat our dog -as if it was their own. A great relief to have such a first class service.
Kona has been with A Walk in the Park for almost 6 months now and always has a great time with Jessica and Jammer. Jessica is always there to answer any questions I have and I feel at ease leaving Kona with them.
I cannot say enough good things about this company and its owner, Jessica. My dog, Hank, has been going on group hikes with Jessica for almost a year now. She has gone above and beyond to make Hank feel comfortable as he felt nervous leaving the house in the beginning. Hank is such a happy (and tired) dog post his hikes now, I know that he just loves his playtime with Jessica and the gang :). I have also boarded my dog with her a couple of times and was regularly updated with pics/videos of my dog having a blast. She truly cares for my dog and I couldn’t be a happier client!
It's very hard to find someone that actually is trustworthy and has been in this business for as long as Julie and her crew. I can't say there are many people that take the time to get to know your pet as well as they do to ensure that they are in the right group with the right dogs, aren't having behaviour issues (and if they are she let's you know right away so you can address it) and really cares if they are having a good time. Genuine and honest as well as skilled and proactive. I wish we could clone a Walk in the Park as their standards are really high and I think we can all agree that our pets deserve the best! We love Adventure Den! The staff are incredible. They are so warm and friendly! I always know my dog is in great care. My dog goes there five days a week and has also done some overnights. I trust the folks at Adventure Den wholeheartedly! I recommend daycare and boarding to anyone in the city! For anyone with long working hours, they’re open early and close late, it’s great!
Harlow is a very high energy border collie puppy who started going to Adventure Den when she was maybe 5 months old. Their staff are extremely knowledgeable and kind. I had no idea that Harlow could potentially have anxiety when she was there as I took it as excitement. The lovely staff noticed her extreme energy and put a weighted vest on her which calmed her down! Showing that she was just a bit anxious. Great communication! We have a large, good natured, overly enthusiastic puppy. Canine Adventure Den has been a wonderful experience for him and us. We have placed him in the doggie day care often, and have left him there for several day stays when we went on holidays. They make sure he doesn’t get overly stimulated, but he has a chance to play with other dogs. He always seems happy to go and calm when he gets home.
This place is a saviour for someone dealing with chronic conditions! I was injured a month after getting my best friend and when my dog's energy gets too high for me to manage, a day of stimulation at the Adventure Den knocks her out for a couple of days. I love picking Takoda up after she is there, because she gets extra droopy skin on her neck as she struggles to stay awake, but most importantly because she is so happy! Everyone I have encountered there has been polite, caring, respectful, and loves my silly pup. It allows me the opportunity to take the time I need to care for myself, and for that I am truly grateful!

Highly recommend Adventure Den for your daycare and overnight dog sitting needs! Pick up and drop off couldn’t be easier and my dog always comes home exhausted after his full day of playing and socializing! The staff are friendly and seem great with the dogs. Bonus points for posting photos and videos of all the dogs on Instagram!
I recently boarded my 3years old recuse dog for the first time, and I was really worried about how he’d handle it due to his past bad experiences. I’m so happy I chose this service! The staff was very caring and always responded promptly to any questions I had about my dog. They made me feel at ease, and my dog seemed good in there. Much appreciated for their care & attention
When I arrived to fetch my fur buddy and he was reluctant to leave after a nine day stay, I knew that he had a great stay at Canine Adventure Den! He was well looked after and I was kept updated on his stay whenever I asked. Very professional and highly recommended! Today he was there for the day and he had another good time - after eating his dinner, he is snoozing, completely tuckered out!
We have been taking our Australian Shepherd dog to Adventure Den for about 2 years. We have put him in daycare and boarding countless times. He loves daycare and the employees there. When we receive him afterward he’s always happy and tired. We have talked to Colm, the assistant manager, a couple of times about our dog and he’s always been understanding and kind, helping us if we had any issues. We highly recommend Adventure Den to anyone! Thank you to everyone who works there for making Julio, our dog’s stay so fun!
