Wow! Aurelia was a wonderful housesitter! Most importantly Mowgli and Genna absolutely adored her and looked disappointed that we had come home! She obviously has a natural bond with animals and loved spending time with them. She also took care of our old pony and was happy to assist the blacksmith when he came. She was resourceful, communicated well with me before and during the sit and showed great initiative. The house was beautifully clean and tidy when we came home. I can’t rate her highly enough and sincerely hope this is the first of many future sits with us.
Lilli was the best. She looked after my cat and my home for 10 days. Just before I came home she sent me a photo of my cat, who had settled into her suitcase. When I arrived my cat was relaxed and the house was as tidy as could be. Lilli communicated well, has lots of experience, and enjoys all kinds of animals (see her profile). I also prefer, when I can, to have someone in the house who knows Santa Fe -- if, for instance, my cat needed to go to the vet. Lilli does. She's one of two people I've met via zeewoi to whom I would happily reach out to the next time I travel.
If we could give Matt and Amber six stars, we would! Our only concern was our dog would not want us to come home, since she was having so much fun with them. We appreciated all the pictures of her hiking, walking, and hanging out in their laps. They communicated with us in advance of their arrival so we knew what was going on, and stayed in touch with regular updates during our five-week trip. We grew attached to them, even though we only met them in person one day. They took great care of the garden and the house, which was spotless when we returned. When they left, they sent a specific list of everything they had cleaned and taken care of (for example, watering all the indoor plants, so we wouldn't have to worry about it after coming home). They are professionals and it shows in the care they provide. It says a lot that two neighbors already requested their contact information for possible house-sitting stays, and others told us how nice they were. We highly recommend them!
Kima was so very welcoming and Zu is just the sweetest cat! I felt at home in the house, the bed is comfortable, and Kima has all-u-can-eat blackberries in her backyard 😉😋. Zu really was a delight to care for and to hang out with! The house is located in a fun, historic, neighborhood.
Aidan and I really enjoyed our sit with Polly and Chris! Their home is beautiful and their dogs Bear and Willow are adorable. They are both very relaxed dogs which make them very easy to care for. The bunnies and hamster were also easy to look after. The house is quite rural so would be easier with a car but was still so manageable without one. The neighbours were extremely kind and welcoming which we really appreciated. They invited us over for drinks and took us into town which was so lovely of them. We really enjoyed getting it know the neighbourhood, it made our stay. Would definitely recommend this sit! Thank you Polly and Chris ☺️
