Lesley
We both very much enjoyed our time housesitting for Jim and Lesley, at their beautiful house in Cramond (Edinburgh). Jim and Lesley are a warm and welcoming couple, and their dog Dougal is full of life and good cheer. We took him on many walking adventures in all directions from Jim and Lesley’s home, which is ideally situated for walks along the nearby river, to the Cammo estate, to Cramond Beach, and even out to Cramond Island, which is a lovely, small island in the River Forth (be careful to check the tide table before crossing, as the causeway leading to the island disappears under water twice per day). Dougal was always ready to go on our various walking adventures with him. He stays on the lead when out and about, but is very good on it, despite being a big, strong standard poodle.

Jim and Lesley’s lovely home is very comfortable, clean and spacious with lots of natural light. Plus, the garden is a beautiful place to relax, being secluded by trees and with various seating options, whether to recline, sit or dine. And Dougal loves playing in his garden!

Should you have the opportunity to house/pet sit for Jim and Lesley, we would most certainly recommend that you do so. Schedules permitting, we’d likewise love to return to care for their home and for Dougal Dog.

Jessica
Jess and Chris are kind and very generous hosts, the cats are lovely and the house was prepared nicely for when we arrived. They were good at responding to messages and we felt relaxed in their home with the company of their kitties :)

Two affectionate and wonderful cats in a convenient and fun part of Arlington. Communication with Brianna was excellent and she allowed us to feel at home. Would highly recommend.

Stephani
Stephani was a terrific sit host. She’s extremely well organized and we spent the “pre-sit” stay together to acquaint me with the routine that she and her lovely male Russian Blue - Jackson have. He is easygoing and approachable instantly due to her dedicated training. Jackson and I bonded easily and although he missed his Mom…he was fun and engaging.

Stephani has a wonderful warm and updated home with more than comfortable sitter accommodations. Her garden is well laid out and therefore easy to maintain per her scheduled plan. I highly recommend this sit and hope to be invited back again.

I had a great sit at Hannah's with the lovely Luna! Communication was great and I enjoyed my time there, even though it was only a short sit. Recommended.

Aida
Aida is the nicest, most welcoming and relaxed owner that we have sat for. She made us feel very welcome and made a meal for us on arrival.

Aida loves her dogs very much - you can see it in their eyes… they hang off her every word. She takes a great deal of care of them and has every tool or gadget available to do so. As past show dogs and a champion stud - you can imagine they are well behaved beautiful dogs who really do just like to cuddle on the sofa watching tv or reading together. Aida extends this love care and attention to her small collection of plants who have their own plant-light lamp, humidifier and gadget for checking soil moisture- we were so impressed with Aida’s plant care that we have invested more in our own plants at home! (Thanks Aida).

Our two children loved this sit the most! Having a carpet of cuddly cavaliers at their feet to play with, sit in the pen with (by their own choice) cuddle and run about with was pure medicine to them both. This sit is great for families - especially as our two children wanted to help out with the routine of the dogs and volunteered to groom them!

We thoroughly enjoyed the sit. The 6 dogs were easy to control due to being happy to go in their pen quietly during night and during the day if we hoovered/cleaned or popped out for 3-4 hours with a few of them at a time. We never let them more than 4 hours (except once by pre-arrangement) and they were always asleep and happy on our return. Aida arranged for her friend to pop in for one of our days so we could comfortably go out to visit the Slovenian capital and spend a little more time there. We so appreciated how thoughtful and helpful Aida was and as a result we had a lovely time in the area - walking the dogs, sightseeing, jogging and cycling through vineyards and open countryside - a glorious and memorable sit.

Thanks Aida! We thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely come again!
