Barbara
Barbara and Mark are amazing pet parents whose love and care for their dogs is obvious so it wasn't surprising to discover that they're also pretty great human beings. They made me feel welcome from the first moment, had clear instructions and guidelines for house and pet care, and were always responsive to communication even with the 19 hour time difference!
Their house is in a highly walkable and bikable area, is comfortable, carries all the necessary amenities and has a backyard with several fruit trees; apples were my favorite!
Lulu and Cedar are two very sweet, playful and well-behaved dogs I've definitely enjoyed being with, and after spending 3 weeks with them, I think I will always have a soft spot especially for Cedar.
Barbara and Mark were also very understanding and helpful. When I discovered that all the trains were sold out, they graciously offerred that I stay one more night, where we shared a very enjoyable dinner and conversation. I can honestly say it was a true pleasure meeting and spending time with such decent people and delightful dogs, and would not hesitate to go back for another sit if the opportunity arises.

cindy
We spent a wonderful two weeks at Cindy's lovely home looking after her adorable dogs.
Cindy and Nick made us most welcome on arrival, we enjoyed an informal meal with the family and we were provided with all necessary information for the care of their home and dogs. They also provided us with very useful and interesting information about the local area and nice things to do.
Mollie and Peebles were so well behaved and we had a great time together.
Ian and I would be more than happy to return if the opportunity arises.
Very many thanks for a fantastic first sit. Love, Kathy and Ian.xxx

Katie
I loved staying with Tanner, he’s such a sweet little companion. Very easygoing and friendly. I loved our walks around the historic Montford neighborhood, and Katie’s house is simply lovely in every way. A great experience!

Teresa and Ray are super welcoming and easy going. We have felt at home in their beautiful house. And what about Cali? Cali is a sweetheart that has stolen our hearts in just one day. We would take care of her again without a doubt 🥰

I had the most wonderful time at Alice's place. Pickle and Slop were a great company throughout my stay. Pickle came to greet me the moment I arrived, he is a very sociable cat, and he enjoys every pat, even from the neighbours that pass by when they're in the block's gardens. Slop is more shy, but not for a long time. He's really sweet, and he'll sit next to you while resting on the sofa. Also loves being stroked and he'll ask for it. But what he loves the most is eating all of his food (and his brother's sometimes). The flat is really close to the city centre, and you can get there very easily walking. Alice was reachable all the time and very helpful when asked about anything. I totally loved it. Fully recommend it.

Laura
Laura and Morgan' cat Cleocatra was a lovely companion. Gentle, she likes to be petted and will be nearby often. She greets you when you come in, and will lead you to what she wants. She enjoys being brushed and playing with her toys! All in all, a lovely cat.

The apartment in Jersey City's old town area is up two flights of rather steep stairs typical of the townhouse architecture of the 1800's. Their kitchen is well outfitted, and the bed is very comfy. You will hear the usual urban street noises, but they did not bother us. The restaurants nearby were various and many and the neighborhood is walkable and safe with an easy jaunt to the Path trains at Grove Street Station which take you to NYC in minutes.

Laura's communication was top notch with a phone call to meet, then videos and complete explanations of the duties and the apartment. She responded quickly to our questions. Some sitters also like to have the THS book as well, but we had no problem with the assorted gadgets- ac, dishwasher, etc. So we did not miss it.

Overall, a terrific sit for us! We hope we can return and take care of Cleocatra again. Of course, we also recommend this sit to others!😁
