A lovely sit with 2 easy going cats in a very nice apartment near Zurich. Paddington the younger male cat is very friendly and really appreciates a bit of attention. He slept on our bed but was a considerate bed sharer in that he went to the bottom of the bed, curled up and slept through the night. Daisy is very independent and comes in to eat and sleep, but spends a lot of her time out in the very nice gardens which surround the apartment. For the first 2 days she came in for food but didn’t hang around us. By the third day she came up for a head rub and from then on she was relaxed and didn’t go straight out again. The village feels rural but is only a 7 minute bus ride from the nearest small town of Thalwil. The apartment is light and spacious and has its own patio. Its surrounded by greenery as the flats have landscaped gardens and trees all around. A train to Zurich takes around 20 minutes at most. So a very attractive place to stay with the added benefit of friendly cat company. Thoroughly recommend.
Unfortunately we werent able to do the full sit as planned due to the world and its ongoing issues with COVID, but the short stay we had was very much enjoyed. The house is beautiful, the dogs are fantastically behaved and full of personality, and Paula and Damien were wonderful to meet! :)
Slavica, Adam and baby Luka are a wonderful and generous family who absolutely adore their two dogs, Patch and Rocco. Slavica and Adam went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable for my stay and provided me with clear information about the care of their dogs, their personalities, individual characteristics and needs. Communication with Slavica and Adam was excellent before and throughout the sit. They live in a lovely, clean and well-appointed home located close to Epsom town center which has many shops and restaurants and the famous Epsom Downs Racecourse and Epsom Downs for hiking. There is a Tesco Express and several other shops just 5 minutes walking distance from their home. You will find endless country walking trails just outside their front door that provide for a great variety of interesting outings with the pups. Patch and Rocco are well behaved lovable fellas, they enjoy walks and human companionship. If the opportunity arises I will gladly look after Patch and Rocco again.
This was a great housesit. Namie was so welcoming and her dog Biscuit was so well behaved. The apartment is very centrally located in Manhattan and the experience was truly wonderful. The communication was easy and the unit itself is clean and well equipped. I would happily pet sit for Namie anytime and hope to visit again soon.
Fiona and Matthew were brilliant hosts. The property is incredible and completely magical. Santa is the cuddliest old girl I’ve ever met. We spent hours laying on the grass together and wandering the adjacent fields. Ming is beautiful, inquisitive and protective. She’s also very old at this point so she had a really sweet nature to her. We loved spending time here. We would definitely sit this house in these dogs again
The girls, Fawn and Lara, were a joy to spend my time with while doing remote work at home. They're great snugglers in bed, but will also give you space on restless nights. I enjoyed the walks and a few runs around the lake, the close proximity to shops/stores, the windchimes on the patio and quiet evenings at Paula's home.
