Jules, the Golden, had just one thing on her mind, getting to the football field to play fetch. The field was nearby and she led the way. She ignored all the other dogs, but she did run up to other people for some loving. She is a jumper, so I would yell, "No jumping, no jumping," when I saw her headed to another human, but these were all dog people and didn't seem to mind if they got her muddy paw prints on their pant legs. Little Winty, on the other hand, was happy for long walks in the neighborhood, wherever I happened to wander, so I was able to really explore the area on foot with him. I'm an early riser (6:30-7 am), but little Winty was even an earlier riser, so he needed out at 5:15 or so in the morning. The two dogs tend to tussle and bark when they are in the backyard together, so for this first morning pee break, I let them out separately (Winty first) so they didn't disturb the neighbors. Then they were happy to go back to bed with me for an hour before breakfast. The house was in pristine shape, the kitchen was made for cooking, and their cast iron pans were well seasoned (I'm a cook, so I really appreciate a well equipped kitchen). The two dogs can go on walks together, but I'm a senior citizen and they were too energetic for me to handle two-at-a-time. Kevin offered plenty of respite from pet care, so Jules and Winty spent a few hours during two of my days in Portland at a doggie day care. There is a bus stop a block away from the house, so you can easily go to the waterfront, downtown, or to the Japanese gardens. No need for a car in Portland, in fact, the parking situation is horrendous, just not enough places close to the house to park. All in all, a very pleasant pet-sit.

Shannon
Shannon is so easy to work with and her house is in such a fun walkable part of Houston. She was very considerate of us and offered to get us some food items while we were there. Her pets are fun and quirky and just want to either play or snuggle with you.

It was a delight sitting for John. Red was an absolute joy, very loving and so much fun. The house was comfortable and in a superb location right next to Endcliffe Park which made for great walks and Sunday afternoon BBQ's! John and his family were very welcoming and I'd definitely resit if the opportunity came up again. Thanks John! Hope you enjoyed the surf! :)

Rebecca
Kash was the best dog. From the moment i got there, we snuggled, went on lovely walks, and watched movies. Rebecca is in the best town in charlotte, close to delicious food and lovely grassy areas. Highly recommend!

We had a great weekend with Max! He was up for any hike and was so cuddly. Kari had everything we needed and explained the accommodations and the care for Max very well. Would definitely love to hang out with Max again.

We really enjoyed our sit in Burnaby. It was super easy to chat with Brad for all the details for our sit. The hosts are easy going, nice & friendly. We really liked the house. Everything was there, really modern and clean. But most of all, we loved Flash and Cedar! The neighbourhood was great for walks, there are three parks in that area. The dogs are so cute and trusting. We have never cuddled with dogs as much as with Flash and Cedar. We miss the pups already very much and won't forget this stay in Vancouver!
