One word sums up Christine and Neil - fabulous! We left them in charge of our home , 3 year old miniature poodle and twelve year old cat for 3 weeks and couldn't have wished for a happier experience. Owing to last minute family arrangements Neil came on his own for the first few days so we only had a chance to meet him as they had had to leave a few hours before we arrived back. Calm, highly organised, Neil had made a friend with Hudson before we left the following morning and according to Christine, he was Neil's shadow throughout their stay! All our communication by phone, email and Skype had been really easy and we'd felt in advance that they were just the right people, and this definitely proved to be the case. The house was immaculate, animals very happy ( so much so that when we arrived home Hudson , although very pleased to see us , was obviously looking to see if Neil was close behind !). Christine had been able to control Hudson's barking at the cat which we'd had little success with and for which we're very grateful. The icing on the cake was arriving home to a meal in the fridge and the most delicious apple strudel. If you're lucky enough to have Christine and Neil as sitters please request that she make one for you! We can't recommend them highly enough. Thank you Neil and Christine for ensuring that we had a worry free holiday.

Victoria and Myles were fantastic! They stayed with our dogs for 3 and 1/2weeks, our longest sit so far, and we were reassured from the beginning that the pups were in great hands! We got updates everyday, Victoria was a fantastic substitute mum for them and they looked really happy and healthy when we got back! The house was in an immaculate condition too. We would highly recommend Victoria and Myles for a house sit!

It was great meeting Rosemarie, Andrew, and the whole family. They were welcoming and kind to us and our dog Howard.

The house is as described, a large family home in a quiet neighborhood with a big yard. The guest room was a bit cramped for a couple, but was manageable for our short stay.

Harvey is a very sweet and easy to care for dog. It took a few days for him to fully warm up to our patient boy Howard but they eventually became buds and kept each other company playing around the house.

We would recommend this stay and hope to see Harvey again someday!

WOW where do I start with this wonderful sit. Everything was lovely from the house, Jen & Mark and most importantly beautiful Baye.
The house is lovely it was great to have our breakfast watching the sunrise in the distance and taking in the views.
Baye is such a delight, she is so gentle and loving and as Jen will tell you, she will do anything for a doggy treat. She also has a wonderful temperament.
Jen and Mark made us feel really welcome when we arrived and it was great to give them daily updates on where we had walked Baye etc.
I would highly recommend sitting for these guys and we would come back in a heartbeat.
Thank you for a wonderful few days.

This was one of our favorite housesits! Liz and Gil are so kind and communicative. We had the wonderful opportunity of getting to know them before they traveled.

The location was ideal. I grew up in Reston and we were visiting friends in my hometown, so I was already really familiar with the area. Their house is excellent for trail access, lake access, restaurants, grocery, pharmacy, and public transport. We would highly recommend them to anyone planning on spending time in the Northern Virginia/ DC area.

The views of the lake are fantastic and their home is clean, comfortable, and inviting. Sammy the cat is very friendly and sweet. He was very good at vocalizing when he was hungry and was also playful and independent.

We couldn't have asked for a better housesit and would love to spend time with them the next time we are in the area.

Eric is the most endearing little chap and so well behaved. He was a joy to take care of.

Rebecca gave us a very warm welcome, a good tour of the house and provided a comprehensive Welcome Guide, including Eric's daily routine.

The house is spacious and comfortable in a peaceful location, but still walking distance from the local pub. The property location is perfect for exploring the North Norfolk coast.

We highly recommend this sit and would happily take care of Eric in the future. We miss him.

Pam
Paula and I thoroughly enjoyed house-sitting for Pam and Neil. It was our first house-sit, and we really lucked out here.

Luna and Polly are 100% the dotiest dogs in the world and we just adore them. They are super easy to care for and we loved taking them for trips to the beach. (My phone is now full of videos of them running wildly on the beach and snoozing on the sofa with their legs in the air...)

Pam and Neil are amazing hosts, and their home is really comfortable and peaceful. They had great recommendations for things to do in the area. We particulalrly loved being invited to have a family meal with them the evening before they left, and this meant that EVERYONE was comfortable about sitting and being sat for.

I hope to be able to sit for them again. I miss the ladies already!

This was a lovely sit in a lovely home with lovely animals. Belle and Tuli are both darlings—sweet, friendly, well-behaved, low-key, and super easy to care for! The weather was cold so I didn’t spend a lot of time with the chickens, but they were very easy to take care of—just be aware that you will need to be home at some point in the evening, to shut them away in their coop area before sunset. I enjoyed hearing their gentle clucking chatter while feeding them or checking for eggs. Their home is in a great walkable neighborhood with lots to see and do. Jules was great with communication and responding to any of my questions/concerns. Recommended!
