Cat Sitters in Northfield, IL

Eva was amazing! She came and took over for a friend of ours who was watching our cats for the first part of our trip and it was such a seamless transition! Eva communicated well and even took care of a few snags that happened on their arrival (AC went out as soon as they arrived and they dealt with the repairman which we were so grateful for!) It's always a good sign when the cats seem to not care at all that we were even gone so we'd have her and Matt back anytime!

Megan watched our two high energy huskies who can be challenging to say the least (albeit still sweethearts). She not only walked them but took them out on adventures with her which is always welcome. Our home was clean and tidy when we arrived home. Would have her back again!

This was our first zeewoi experience. We wanted to have someone stay in our house while we were away, and especially important to keep company with our cat, Mamma. Rachel totally filled that need for us. We met by zoom before the sit. Rachel had patience with our elusive Mamma, coaxing her out of hiding and winning her over in the end. Lots of photos and check-ins for kitty tips, which we loved. Rachel was responsible, communicative, friendly and kind. She left the house super clean. We felt comforted to know that our home and cat were in good hands.

If attentive, responsible, kind animal care is your top priority, Blaire and Nick are the Housesitters for you! They took care of my two goats and two hens for nearly 3 months. They very carefully followed all instructions for animal care (e.g. letting the goats out of their pen to roam the yard once/week; spraying water on the ground of the hens' pen when temperatures were in the 90's and above; plus many other details). They cared for my garden and planted lots of extra vegetables. Most significantly, they solved a huge problem I had of the hens' eggs being pecked daily (it turns out it was a scrub jay doing it, not the hens themselves). Nick built a clever new nesting box that allowed each laid egg to roll down into a covered area and remain safely whole! Brilliant. One of my hens became deathly ill, and Blaire and Nick brought her into a room in my house and nursed her back to health. Clearly, they went above and beyond in caring for my beloved goats and chickens, and I'm so grateful to them. They communicated well and kept me abreast of everything that was going on with the animals. I recommend Blaire and Nick without hesitation!

Jake was responsible, self-sufficient, communicative, and thoughtful with his questions throughout the whole stay, which I really liked. He had asked prior to the sit what kind of updates I would prefer and how often. I asked for everyday and he delivered! He provided a couple updates and pictures every day. My home looked exactly as I left it - wouldn’t even know someone had stayed! Haha. Jake is welcome to come back and sit again.

Stephanie is fantastic! Our pets and home were well cared for. She was great at checking in (sending photos) and our household of 2 dogs and 3 cats loved her. She stayed with us a few days after we returned - she is a wonderful person - one of those good people that we will stay friends with for years to come. I highly recommend her and hope she can sit for us again in the future.

Ellen and Charles were great! We came home from our long weekend trip to a clean house (they even washed the bedsheets) and more importantly to happy tails! They were warm, friendly, considerate and conscientious about the care of our fur babies and our home. They communicated well with us and would ask questions when needed. We enjoyed getting to know them and it was another great sit experience for us!

I cannot say enough good things about Simiao! She was great with communication and sent pictures daily. I never had to worry that Seamus and deegan weren't being looked after. My house was very tidy when I returned. She went above and beyond during this sit. I would welcome her back at anytime!

Connie took perfect care of my house and my dog! Pancake, my English bulldog, was recovering from a knee surgery and Connie took extra care to keep her on track for recovery, even encouraging her to use the new ramp to get on and off the couch. Connie also sent regular updates. Thank you Connie!

Sarah was great! Took great care of our pets and was flexible with communicating with us as we were overseas in an opposite time zone. She has much experience with animals as it has been her primary line of work. Kept to our feeding and walking schedule. Our pets looked happy and well taken care of with the daily updates we received. 10/10 would recommend!

Sarah was fantastic taking care of my large anxious dog! She was very communicative and asked questions as things came up. She even got him to walk farther than he is used to because of his anxiety! I came back to a tidy apartment and a happy dog. What more can you ask for? I would love to Sarah again to hang out with Bubbles while I'm away!

Hannah is hands down my favorite sitter, and always does an amazing job with both the cats and the condo.
