Dog Sitters in Northfield, VT

Another great sit with Linda. She even helped us with training Hazel to ignore the dogs next door. Highly recommend Linda—she is great with both the dog and chickens, left the house beautiful, and was perfectly communicative. Hazel adores her!

Joy was a wonderful cat sitter. I felt so relaxed knowing she was looking after Debit and Credit. Joy was brilliant at communicating before, during and after the sit. I wish we had more of a chance to hang out before I left because Joy was so lovely to chat with. The house was left in perfect condition and the cats were clearly very happy with Joy’s visit! It was so cool that Joy explored so much of the local area and even braved a sea swim!

Stacy did a great job. Was so happy to meet her before I left. Came home later then expected (flying is always a challenge) and it was great to have clean sheets on my bed. I Highly recommend Stacey and her husband.

Jessie and Chris are wonderful, interesting people, and took great care of our princess Shanti and our home. Communication before and during was spot-on. The pics of Shanti were terrific! We will gladly invite them for future sits as opportunities arise.

It was a pleasure planning my trip and communicating with Maria. She was well versed in caring for my dog, and she asked great questions about how to handle her. Maria seemed kind, thorough and responsible. Maria also seemed totally unfazed dealing with my apartment and all the attendant situations that can come up (a smoke alarm went off from low battery power and she was able to handle it without a problem). When we returned, our dog was happy and seemed well cared for. It was so nice to have Maria come be a part of my house for a week. Thank you!

Anne-Marie was exceptional as our pet/house sitter for our 9-day absence! She agreed to come the day before we left (as our flight left early the next morning) so that she could be introduced to our dog, Dakota, and get acclimated to our house and Dakota's routine. During the stay, she took several drives with Dakota to take her for walks in various parks in the area. She sent pictures showing Dakota doing fun stuff with her. Anne-Marie brought much of her own food, so she was very self-sufficient. She also did some cleaning in our house before our return which was over-and-above our expectations, but very much appreciated. She communicated the perfect amount with us to let us know her activities with Dakota. She also picked up our mail and newspapers and put out the trash, recycling, and compost when necessary to keep that routine intact. All-in-all, anyone would be very fortunate to have Anne-Marie as your pet/house sitter!!!

Amy arrived on time, left everything in very good order and was so self-sufficient as to have brought her own bedding, and was conscientious in her care for my dog. Gratitude.

Jewel was such a pleasure to work with. Very professional and kind in every possible way. I would call her again in a heartbeat. I can tell my beloved kitty was extremely well taken care of, as was my condo. What a lucky find I made!!

Erin, Keith and Brody are a friendly family that came over at short notice after another sitter had let us down, so we are grateful to them for coming! Erin works from home so Keith was the chief dog walker and had to put up with walking in unusually bad weather Brody is a nice young man who bonded with our cat Lenny. We got some photos to put our mind at rest and they treated our cat for his skin issues

Sarah and Lisa were great Housesitters! They were very respectful and clean and flexible! We came home to happy animals and a clean home. They are highly recommended!

We hired Emily to pet-sit our two Pomeranians and nine chickens while we were away for over two weeks. Overall, she did a great job taking care of our animals. They were well-fed and seemed happy and content when we returned. There were some minor communication issues in the beginning. However, once we cleared up these issues, everything went smoothly. Emily was very respectful of our home and left it in great condition when she departed. We would recommend Emily as a pet-sitter for anyone looking for someone reliable and caring to watch their animals. She did a good job loving our furry and feathered friends. Thank you Emily!

Maja was very pleasant and everything was in order when we got back. The cats were fine, they greeted us as usual when we opened the front door, and had obviously been well fed and played with. Thank you Maja.
