Three of the most loving girls. They make you feel like the most important person in the world. Every morning is like they haven’t seen you for years when you go down to see them. You will fall in love with three different personalities. You’ll never be stuck for a cuddle if you want one.
This piece of heaven is an amazing place to spend your time. With an oasis outside, an incredible food garden, lots of shade and seating, and interior that just feels like "home", you'll think about cancelling plans to stay in and spend time with Zabi and Sprout. The home's location has easy access to a TON of local shops and eateries within walking distance. Within just a few minutes driving, you can be on any of the main roads (or highways!), but you don't get any of the noise or chaos that you would expect being in such a great area! Zabi is a 100% excitable and sweet companion. She'll remind you to take breaks from remote working to sit outside in the shade and she'll reward you with lots of love and affection after taking daily walks. Sprout is a chatty little one with lots to say and an incredibly accurate internal clock; she'll never let you miss breakfast or dinner! Both are SO incredibly easy to care for and will be lovely companions for nights in watching movies or reading books. The instructions provided were crystal clear and let me with no questions! The animals know their routines and I was prepped and ready to keep in lockstep with them. I would recommend this to any sitter looking to come to Denver. The location is perfect. The neighborhood is beautiful. The animals are lovely. 10/10!
Sheryl & Terry were super easy going and so was their dog, Diega. She is quite elderly so it worked well for me not needing to invest time into long walks while I go to school full time. Great location super close to downtown Victoria. They were great hosts, kind and considerate. Would recommend this pet sit!
My mom and I had the most wonderful stay at Heidi and Keith’s! Our week was full of hilarity and *heart melt* moments, thanks to the unforgettable Nala and Gracie. The kitties were there to greet us upon arrival, setting the tone for the rest of our stay. These two just love being with people, both so engaging, curious, and sweet. And playful! Little jungle cat Nala WILL keep you on your toes! ;) They completely captured our hearts. We’re still reminiscing, laughing about them, and missing them dearly. The chickens were fun and very easy to care for. Sitting with a hot drink in hand while they grazed in the yard made for a relaxing ritual on milder days. And what a treat to have farm fresh eggs each day! We enjoyed them with (AMAZING) local bakery Sluys bread for a 100% Poulsbo breakfast. Heidi and Keith’s home is so lovely and peaceful—the kind of place you can curl up and relax in, and feel right at home. There was a beautiful chorus of birds and frogs to usher in each evening. A special surprise was learning that Heidi is a phenomenally gifted artist! My mom and I spent many moments lingering over the details in Heidi’s exquisite artwork from room to room. We’d been excited to visit Poulsbo for the first time, but with all its charm, character, beauty, and friendly locals, it exceeded our expectations in every way. Front Street with its array of shops and restaurants was an easy 10 minutes from the house. We even got in a fun ferry trip to Seattle during our stay. Heidi is kind, gracious, and just the loveliest person ever—we couldn’t have asked for a better host! She had a super detailed Welcome Guide printed out in a binder, including a pocket of brochures about Poulsbo and the surrounding area. Strategically-placed post-it notes around the house made for a brilliant way of communicating quick info. And to top it off, we had a sweet welcome basket of goodies waiting for us when we arrived. This is the longest review I’ve ever written, and even still, I could go on and on… My mom and I are so thankful for the opportunity to have stayed at Heidi and Keith’s, and could not recommend this sit more highly. We’d return in a heartbeat, and hope to! ?
Beautiful Countryside Getaway Gemita and Peter were very welcoming, they showed me the ropes and left me with very detailed instructions making my stay easy and smooth. All I had to do was following Rainy, Luna, Tigger and Roo’s morning and evening routine, giving me plenty of time during the day to work, read or go on a stroll. I would peek at the rabbits occasionally but they didn’t require any attention from me. Rainy and Luna were always by my side, wanting cuddles and pets or play time. Luna goes nuts with the laser pointer and Rainy goes crazy for her ball, they are hilarious to play with! The minis are easy to take care of even with no or little horse experience. I think they enjoyed getting brushed as they were shedding a lot. I left with a beautiful variety of pet hair on my clothes and that’s beauty of my stay in this lovely lively house 😊 Recommend going at Bruce’s Country Market, such a quaint grocery store with lots of delicious in-house made goods just a few minutes away from the house.
Incredible experience, Christie and her boyfriend agreed to let me come 1 day before the scheduled date and they also offered me tickets to join the airport for my departure. It's very kind, I really appreciated it! You'll love their two sweet and sociable cats, they're very calm and love to play. Prague was a wonderful discovery, so thank you for everything!
