Bianca has a lovely household in a quaint little village with stunning views and walks to offer whilst still having the busier town at an easy reach. Her hospitality was superb greeting us with a meal and a night to get to settle in and get to know her before the sit began; which allowed for any questions to be answered and advice to be given. The pets were an absolute dream. Bailey the bundle of puppy energy never failed to make us laugh and Max couldn't get enough of the cuddles (neither could I!) They both have a great friendship with their friendly feline family member jinx too. I miss all of them! An absolute pleasure to sit for and a relaxing, fun break for me and my partner. I hope to house sit for Bianca again and would urge any who are considering!
Our time with the Poteet’s furry ones was a complete delight. Eve and Scott prepared a very good Welcome Guide and even had a fantastic written copy for us when we arrived. They immediately responded to any questions we had. They were incredibly kind and generous, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. They even had great recommendations for hikes and some of the best ice cream we have ever had. They thought of everything. The home is attractive and well supplied with everything you could possibly need for a great California stay. It is located in a fantastic neighborhood with excellent hiking trails and easy access to wonderful ocean beaches and attractions. I don’t believe you could ask for a better location. It was a ‘House Sitters Dream’ to have such wonderful pets. Sailor the dog was one of the best disciplined animals we have encountered. She was a perfect young lady on the many hikes we took her on. She responded to commands immediately and never was a problem in public. She is a fun dog to be around and we miss her already. Swiper the Kitty was affectionate and loved to sit on your lap as you watch tv or just to chill. Bojangles sought you out and greatly enjoyed a quick pet and rub behind the ears. All in all we loved our time with the pets, the location and the hosts.
Throughout some of the hottest days this summer, Suky and Molly were a sheer joy to look after. Up early for our walk before breakfast, they were impeccable to look after. Glued to my side as a lap-dog, Suky for her size was in charge and those quirky head moves just melted my heart! Molly decided to sit on my feet if I took up a seat to watch tv and was always nuzzling for cuddles. Occasionally a jump in the lake to cool off! We went out throughout the cooller parts of the day and evening , Suky's and Molly's energy just surprised me! Both were such fun and apart from committing to a long-term sit elsewhere, Simon and Jennifer also had offered me to return. They were generous hosts and their Home is welcoming, with a lovely log-fire for winter and a suntrap of a garden for those lazy summer days! I slept soundly every night and came away very relaxed! All the amenities are nearby and Simon and Jennifer gave loads of advice and signposts to local food and craft markets and places of interest. Super location to base oneself and to discover Somerset and it's History! Both Suky and Molly stayed close, were obedient and were an absolute joy. A sheer pleasure to have met the whole family! Highly recommended dog and house sit. Belinda is a lovely person. We loved looking after Ruby and Lola and would be more than happy to dog and house sit for Belinda again. We enjoyed walking the dogs every day on the Sussex Downs. Lewes and Brighton are easily accessible and have great shops and restaurants.
We had an exceptional experience sitting for Figgy and Dusty. Figgy was a calm and endearing pup who never let me out of her sight. Dusty was a free spirit who came and went as he pleased. Their care instructions were clear and easy to follow. The ADU office was such a BONUS and Krysta and James' home was so beautifully laid out. We had everything we needed and really enjoyed the space. Every neighbor we met on our walks was very friendly and welcomed us into the neighborhood. Krysta and James were awesome to sit for and we had an open line of communciation throughout our stay. We felt perfectly at home and would highly recomend this sit to anyone in search of a chill place, an adorable pup and a comical cat.
