Nadja and her family live in a beautiful house with a wonderful view over the city, the forest and castles. An oasis of wellbeing. The communication in advance and during the stay was great and very easy. Colette was directly trusting, and when Flocke found trust, many pleasant days followed. There were also eggs from the funny poultry and own fruits from the garden every day. A wonderful and so grateful experience. My dog Oreo, who is more than a dog to me, he is my baby..😁I was looking for a nice loving home for him during the times I was away. Luckily, I got Alice and when I had to leave the country in few hours as there was a bereavement in the family, she took Oreo on the spot and looked after Oreo so well while we were away. After a family member passed away, who always looked after Honey our Cockapoo at home, I was very anxious at the thought of going away on holiday. Honey had never spent a night away and the thought of putting her in kennels was a no no for me. So, I did an online search, just to see what options were out there and came across Dog Heaven (on earth) in East Horsley, it's a home environment, it sounded perfect and sat well with me. On the website it said that Alice wasn't taking on any new clients but I messaged anyway as I hadn't seen anywhere else online that I got such a good feeling about. Thankfully, Alice agreed to meet us and we arranged a trial 'sleepover'... Fast forward and Honey has just come home from a 10 night holiday at Dog Heaven and she loved it. We enjoyed our holiday because we were sent regular photos, videos and messages letting us know how happy she was. We really felt that she was in the best hands for any physical or emotional needs that may have arisen. The garden alone is Doggy Heaven. Suffice to say our next holiday is already booked!
Alice is amazing! My dog is in the best hands, I totally switch off and enjoy my holiday. Her location on the edge of a forest is perfect for adventurous walks and she treats all dogs as family. Alice is a true dog whisperer!!
Poppy is our first family dog and as such I was nervous about leaving her with anyone. I needn’t have worried as she had an amazing time at Alice’s. Alice takes full details about your dog to make sure she is fully informed and well prepared. As Poppy was very young on her first visit she had her own “puppy” bedroom. Alice regularly sent updates and super photographs of Poppy exploring and playing with Alice’s own dog. Poppy has since stayed with Alice again and she is booked in for a weekend over the summer. I know Poppy will enjoy her holiday with Alice as much as we enjoy our break! I also know she is in great and very safe hands.
Alice provides an excellent home boarding service, giving our two border collies all the exercise and love they need. We look forward to our daily photo updates of their interactions with her pack.
My 7 month old Cavapoochon has stayed at Dog Heaven Horsley twice and clearly had such a wonderful time because he didn’t want to leave on both occasions! Alice makes sure she knows as much as possible about your dog before they go and stay and asks for any updates/changes on subsequent visits. Her attention to detail in ensuring her guests’ needs are all catered for is second to none. I trust her entirely. Backing onto the most incredible woodland is why this place is dog heaven - the perfect playground for any treasured pet. Thanks Alice for creating this safe and happy place!
Alice looked after our 9 month old Great Dane puppy, Mabel for three weeks whilst we were on a long family holiday over Christmas. We couldn't have asked for a better home for her whilst we were gone. This was the first time she had boarded with someone and Mabel was so immensely happy on her holidays. Alice sent regular pictures of Mabel on her walks with her new four-legged friends and kept us updated with how she was doing, advising us on the best food for her sensitive tummy too. Alice even took her to the vet whilst we were gone to have them look at her foot which was concerning her and updated us with feedback. Alice provided Mabel with a wonderful home from home whilst we were away eliminating any worries we had of leaving her. We would highly recommend Dog Heaven Horsley and Mabel will be thrilled to stay there again in future!
Our 2 dogs have had a few holidays now with Alice and Bodhi (and the dear departed Hugo). Alice always takes great care of the girls and they come back happy and healthy. Alice and Bodhi treat the girls to long enjoyable walks through the forest every day whatever the weather and give regular photo updates both privately and on social media. I would have no hesitation in recommending to other dog owners!
Alice has been an absolutely exceptional caretaker for our cockapoo on numerous stays over the past three years. She has been diligent in ensuring our dog received her vet medication on time as it came due (flea treatments, worming) as well as ad hoc visits to the vets when any concerns arose, such as a sore paw or upset tummy. Alice would take our dog on daily long walks and couple it with behavioural training, would provide us with daily updates of our dog’s walks and activities including beautiful snapshots. Alice has also on numerous occasions taken our dog to her local groomer for upkeep, and has maintained the grooming routine throughout her stays. We would highly recommend her service to anyone who loves their pet, and will be returning time and time again ourselves!
Chester has had several stays with Alice, the most recent was for 2 weeks in August. I have never left a dog with someone other than family before so was a little anxious. Alice was totally amazing. She loved Chester like her own and he had a fantastic holiday. Wonderful walks twice a day, fun time and down time, everything a young dog needs. Loads of love and cuddles and training along the way. Alice sent regular updates of Chester with his friends which we loved seeing. I couldn't have asked for a more loving home for him whilst we were away. Moogles have done a fantastic job of walking and looking after our dog, Molly, over the last 6 months. She clearly adores both the dogs she walks with and the people who walk her. What has been invaluable to us is that Moogles are so flexible, able to fit in with my varying work schedule. They provide a fantastic service at a reasonable cost - we love them!

They've done a wonderful job settling my dog - who can sometimes be a bit of a handful - and they've been flexible and helpful, fitting around my schedule, which is sometimes unpredictable. They've also taken my dog to the vet a couple of times when I wasn't able to go and that's been a great help. I can't wait for them to start doing boarding too! Highly recommended.

The team at Moogles have been looking after Crumble since we got him at 10 weeks, at first they came for 'puppy pop in's' getting to know him and doing some basic training, then he progressed to the 'big boy' walks, socialising with other dogs and having lots of fun. Crumble loves his Moogles time, you can see how excited he is when they arrive to pick him up and he is worn out when he gets back :-). Moogles are part of Crumbles family 😀
Would just like to say I am over the moon with the service from all at moogles. My dog belle can be a bit of a handful and a bit moody at times but they totally understand her and will work with her as opposed to against her. She literally bounces at the door when she can hear them. I have been using moogles for 14 months and would highly recommend

Our fur-baby Rocky recently stayed here for 17 days. We'd 100% use again! From drop off to updates, photos and collection, their service was flawless. He's a one and a half year old intact male American Akita. Rocky's booking was refused at a few other local kennels due to his breed, but Gay Dog were confident and capable of looking after him! It was his first stay in kennels and away from home. They ensured he settled in straight away and thrived throughout his stay. The moment we left Rocky in their care we knew he'd be safe. The updates we received were heart warming and reassuring. Plus lovely to see photos of their walkies! We were very impressed during collection, the team were lovely and Rocky was immaculate! We expected him to smell of dog and be a bit grubby but he clean and tidy! We will definitely be using Gay Dog again when going away. P.s. My beautiful dog Lazaro and I have just moved to East Hampshire a few weeks ago. I travel a lot for work and cannot always bring him with me - sometimes I need him to be looked after for a day, sometimes a few days. I drive 35 minutes to get to the kennels and it is worth it every time - it's easy to find and has good parking. The reviews online is what encouraged me to try them having had a negative experience further down South. From the first trial visit I have been very impressed with the staff - everyone who I have met has a genuine love for dogs, they take very good care of him and already knew his name on his second visit. The booking process online is very convenient, the check-in process is very thorough each time regardless how many times you've already been and you get lovely, thorough updates. You're welcome to bring your own food and they stick strictly to your preferences, e.g. my dog is a large breed and at risk of stomach bloat, which has happened to us recently somewhere else! I shared this concern with the staff and was taken very seriously. It is also very well priced and cheaper than some surrounding kennels. Lazaro always comes back very happy AND very clean which I am always impressed by. We will be using the kennels going forward having had several one day stays and nearly a week long stay now as well. 10/5 service!

Absolutely brilliant kennels! Have used them on a number of occasions for our two Japanese Akita Inus. Our male can be very wary around strangers so we were a bit worried the first time we dropped them off but not only did he take a particular liking to Cody, one of the male staff members, but in later visits he now loves all of the staff members. They are always super friendly and helpful and gave us updates and pictures to help reassure us the first time we used them. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a dog kennel and very reasonably priced for the level of service they provide.

We were recommended gay dog boarding kennels from a few friends. We felt at ease from dropping Bruce off to collecting Bruce a few days later. Went to work experiance here years ago & it's not changed a bit, its a Fantastic kennels, just picked my girl up & I'm very impressed with how well they manged her especially being a high energy working breed malinois, she has lost her voice as im sure she was constantly barking for attention 😏.. for my girl not to have a upset stomach is rare as she has a very sensitive tummy, she obviously very much enjoyed her stay booked in again later in the year 🥰
Star dog sitter - loving, reliable and understanding with my active breed puppy! I have a (now 7 month) toller puppy Ruby, and sara has been like a second dogmum to ruby since I got her, helping with daycare, drop ins, and sitting her overnights here and there and even whilst i went on holiday! She has been absolutely invaluable - always reliable yet flexible, patient and kind towards little rubes through various stages of her puppyhood. Her love and kindness towards dogs is unmatched and you can tell because ruby was always soo excited to see her - she even ran across the park when she spotted her in the distance when she was out with another dog (and she never bolts off!). i also get adorable photos and videos throughout the day and rubes always comes home from daycare sleepy and happy after a fun time, lots of time in the park and mental enrichment (perfect as tollers need this to tire out) Sara was also was great at asking what we were working on at the moment and any rules we were sticking to which was soo helpful, and happy to stick to rubys routine. - sara i can’t thank you will be sorely missed and will 100% struggle to find a replacement half as good!
Sara is a wonderful human who radiates calm. She can soothe the most nervous or excited doggie or in our case, engage a ‘busy’ Jack Russell, and our Petal absolutely adored her. We can highly recommend Sunrise Wiggles and are so sorry she is moving away.

Sara is the best dog sitter we have found. We used her services with our dog that is a rescue and has some behavioural issues. She handles him extremely well and gives him so much love every time she is with him. She has every tool to make your dog feel at home and while Dublin is with her he has the best time. Walks in the country side, games to play around, and wonderful tratas every day. And what is best is her updates, she sends pictures and videos and makes a summary of every days activities which is just the cherry on top of the cake. I recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, experienced and loving dog carer. You truly can’t go wrong with her.

Sara is awesome! Honey, a rescue, immediately took to her due to her calm, caring and friendly persona. We felt very comfortable leaving Honey in Sara’s care and could see she was having a great time from the regular picture and video updates. We were just glad Honey wanted to come home when we picked her up! Would highly recommend :)

Livia did an excellent job catsitting my cat Oscar for 10 days. She was reliable, attentive, and took great care of him. My boy was well looked after and got plenty of playtime. It’s always a bit strange ‘leaving your furry baby behind’ when on holiday but she provided plenty of updates so I felt at ease. We booked Livia for the first time when we went on a ten day trip around Christmas. We were a bit worried because our cat can be quite difficult. He is anxious and hates most people but still doesn`t like to be alone for long and likes to play. Livia`s calm nature put him immediately at ease; you can tell she is experienced with animals. She had no problems with giving him his medication, which he hates, or his rather specific food prep. We had her come over twice a day. Our boy seemed happy and relaxed when we got home. Glad to have found someone we can trust with our baby, and our house keys.

5* accommodation for your cats! We have been using Coxford down for years and our cats love it there. It’s so nice to have peace of mind that they’re being loved and looked after so well. Leanne and the staff are so friendly and accommodating and the cat cams are a unique feature!
Coxford Down is one of the best catteries I’ve experienced so far that I’m happy to leave my fur baby with, and I’ve had him for 7 years. I always go for them if it’s available. The staff are very friendly and they have allowed me to pick up my fur baby outside of usual hours under special circumstances (I.e. after a long flight). They’re very easy going with the final invoice. And I appreciate that I can log in to the kitty cams to check on him. The ONLY thing I wish they could do is take my kitty on walks with the harness when he’s there for a longer period of time. I don’t go on holiday much, but I recently went away for two weeks and would have liked them to walk him for 10 minutes every couple of days but they couldn’t for insurance reasons which I understand. They did however let me video call so I could let my baby know he wasn’t abandoned. You guys do great! Keep it up :)
I would recommend this cattery to anyone, especially if you are anxious about leaving your cat! The ladies at the cattery keep in touch via WhatsApp (if you want) with pictures and updates and I feel like my cat was really well looked after during her stay. The cattery is so clean and the pens are a really good size!
Stan had a great holiday at Coxford Down - the accommodation was lovely with plenty of space and he returned home happy and relaxed. We received a reassuring update at the beginning of his stay which enabled us to enjoy our break safe in the knowledge that he was content and well cared for.
A truly outstanding Cattery! On arrival we were greeted quickly by friendly and helpful staff. They showed us where our cat would be staying and engaged with our cat happily and playfully from the outset. They had already printed the notes we had sent and had a good pre-understanding of what our cat eats and likes etc. When we returned after a week, our cat was happy and was very comfortable with all the staff. The staff told us all about the stay and what he’d been up to! The room our cat had, had a webcam which was also a nice addition to see how he was doing whilst we were away. Massive thanks to Leanne and her great team.
This is an amazing cattery, the suites are all kept spotless with really comfortable beds and cosy little pods which our boy spends a lot of time in. All the staff are friendly, helpful and caring and can’t do enough to make your cats stay comfortable. The webcams help keep you reassured about how your cat is being looked after. No hesitation in recommending this cattery. We also like that it is open seven days a week.
Excellent facilities and wonderful staff! We were initially a bit nervous leaving our cat at a cattery the first time, but we needn't have worried because she was incredibly well cared for by the amazing staff at Coxford Down Cattery. The facilities were spotlessly clean and having access to the catcam during our time away was very reassuring. 5* highly recommended.
My two cats went here whilst we were away on holiday for a week in June. It was recommended to me via a work colleague. Couldn't recommend enough. Staff are really friendly, very accommodating and clearly love cats. The cattery has a very homely feel and is warm and clean. The only down side is the cameras aren't great quality although this was probably a blessing as i would have spent my whole holiday watching them.
Our cat spent a week on holiday here. Cat was very happy during his stay and on return home. Staff very friendly and attentive. Will be using again. They have a cat cam so you can look in on them while your away. Usually only to see a sleeping cat lol.
We booked our two cats in with Coxford Down over the Christmas period and we couldn't be happier with the Cattery. Belle and Beau were very relaxed and didn't seem stressed at all especially as this was their first visit to a Cattery. The webcams made it very easy for us to see that they were settling in well and enjoying their stay. Leanne and the staff were so welcoming and caring which meant we had no concerns at all. We are so glad we have found a warm and caring Cattery with such wonderful staff. Thank you!
Kat and Tori stayed overnight for a week and looked after my two senior cats and fish. Nothing was too much trouble; medication twice a day, cooking their favourite food etc. Lots of photos of my boys playing, having cuddles, chilling out. I was so relaxed on holiday knowing they were in safe hands, which to me was priceless. When I returned the house was clean and tidy which was also very much appreciated after a day of travelling. Kat has looked after our 4 rabbits on a couple of occasions now, most recently while we were on a 2 week holiday. I’m a worrier, especially when it comes to my fur babies, but I felt completely comfortable leaving them in Kat’s capable hands. She’s reliable, attentive, and clearly cares about animals. A truly outstanding service for my small furries - I have five guinea pigs and two rabbits and was away abroad for a week. Cleaning out wasn't an issue, ventilating their room was no trouble, everything was left clean (they kick out some bedding) and I had daily updates, photos and videos and reassurance they were doing well. A truly caring and kind pet sitter, will definitely use again and would highly recommend!
I would recommend Kats petsitting services to anyone who doesn’t want to leave their cats in a cattery whilst away. Kat took extremely good care of our cat George for a week. We received twice daily updates and it was reassuring to know he was in such safe hands. On one occasion he didn’t turn up at dinner time - she let us know straight away and waited for him to return. We will definitely be using her services again!
Kat did a great job looking after our 2 Bunnies, all clean and tidy. Meet and greet was very useful to discuss our pet requirements and set our minds at ease that our pets would be well looked after. Thankyou Kat.
