My time at Yarno's home was truly delightful. Biggie, the adorable and affectionate dog, brought a special touch to my stay, making London even more vibrant. Yarno and Kate are exceptional hosts, ensuring a homey atmosphere from the very beginning to the end of my visit. I have nothing but compliments for both the apartment and the lovable Biggie!
What a fantastic time we had! We were the much pampered servents of his royal highness Liun for 5 days in July. And what an accommodating and gracious king he is! The house that Karin had left to our care was in spotless condition, a beautiful 3 story wooden house in a delightful small village next to the Plessur Alps. Part of Parc Ela, the views out of every window were breathtaking. The jobs we had to do were light in load and as the place was left so clean and tidy and therefore easy to maintain. Furthermore, Karin left us a binder with thorough instructions for the entire house, making it easy for us to independently navigate any queries we had. She also very kindly left us plenty of maps of local hikes and routes to explore the area and gave us some top tips regarding local amenities and excursions (the local farm shops are enchanting!). Liun is incredibly friendly, a giant beautiful cat that was so gentle to play with. He greeted us as we entered and would come and give cuddles whenever we were in the house. He would always go out on the hunt at dusk, he even brought us a goodbye present on the morning that we were leaving, a reward for our servile activities. We slept in the loft and he would come up every morning to greet us and cuddle in bed, we loved it (and him) too much to get up. The area around the house was delightful, if you are a hiker the house is well situated with 2 accessible alpine ranges. The public transport was so easy to use, one of the days we journeyed to Davos, taking cable cars up another mountain and going for a swim in its lake. We would highly recommend anyone traveling to Switzerland to get a half price card from SBB as the travel costs are high and the card gives you more freedom to explore this beautiful bit of the world. We would be ecstatic to care for Liun again and to be able to enjoy Karin and Dan’s beautiful home once more. Thanks for having us!
Brandon and Michael are so nice. They have a beautiful well kept home in a fantastic neighborhood. There's lots to see and do. Dolly & George are very sweet and gentle. They play together well in short bursts. Mostly they are happy to be couch potatoes. However neither one of them listen or respond to their names or any commands. Our sit was for 9 days and there was no peole food in the house. That was an added expense we hadn't anticipated being quite so costly. George went to doggie day care 3 days. The company picked him up earlier than their schedule quoted and we weren't overly excited about being up at 630am on vacation. They also dropped him off early which was a bit stressful racing back after a few hours of hiking. While not completely smooth we appreciate this adventure and opportunity to see Buffalo and Niagara Falls.
Julie & Rob were very structured about finding a sitter for Finley. Once we expressed an interest we had several communications over the Trusted Housesitters site and then spoke by telephone. We arranged to arrive the evening before they left so we could get to know Finley and his normal routine. Julie had documented full particulars of Finley's routine and requirements (plus details of the house) which we found most helpful. They also provided us with maps / information regarding local walks as we were not familiar with the area. We found Finley to be an energetic young dog who responds well to commands and is an absolute pleasure to look after. He loves the car, long walks and when he has had his daily exercise is happy to chill out beside you in the lounge for the evening. The house is extremely comfortable, pristine and well equipped - in a beautiful rural setting. We really enjoyed our sit with Finley (in fact, would gladly have taken him home with us !!) and would be happy to return again to look after him should circumstances allow.
This single-night stay was added on to a longer week-long stay that I am in the middle of as of writing this. Off to a great start, Pat was welcoming and laid everything out clearly for me upon arrival. Baby has been a very sweet housemate!
Communication with Jeannine was easy and fast. She made us lasagne before we left and left out some snacks that we truly appreciated 🥹The cat was easy to care for, the house was beautiful and our stay was very comfortable. We enjoyed our time up in Upstate NY. Thanks, Jeannine!

My dog has been going here since August 2020, I highly recommend Annas ark pet care, I chose this place due to the amount off area the dog's have to play. Anna and her partner are so friendly, my dog gets so excited to see them that he runs in and doesn't even look back, they treat all the dogs as thier own and are part of thier family. They will ALWAYS try their best to accommodate your needs, nothing is never to much to ask. I highly recommend them, i for sure wil not be taking my dog anywhrre else.
Our boy has been going to Anna’s Ark since he was around 8 months old. He’s grown in confidence since attending and is now so excited in the car when he realises he’s off there for a play. Knowing how nervous I was about leaving him, Anna would send me messages and videos in the early days to let me know how great he was doing and how much fun he was having with the other dogs. Anna, Stu and Helen are so upbeat and positive; genuinely enjoying their jobs, with their love for our pups always apparent. They are happy to offer their advice and support too. Anna has kept in contact when our boy has been poorly; offering her support, love and guidance, which I have found very touching and have very much appreciated.
Anna and Stu are now a huge part of our dogs life! You can see the joy when he’s getting collected for his weekly playtime. They are incredibly caring and always on hand for help and advice. Could not recommend a more caring wonderful dog loving family! You can guarantee you’ll have a happy pup with Anna and Stu ⭐️
Anna's Ark offers a brilliant service. Luna joined the family in 2020, the most beautiful Goldie ever, but due to lockdown procedures, normal socializing was difficult. Going to Anna's sorted the issues, Anna, Stuart & Helen are brilliant with the dogs, treating them as though they are their own. The care and love Luna ❤️ received was second to none. I would highly recommend Anna's Ark. Luna is always excited to go. Thankyou.
Anna, Stu and Helen looked after our dog for over a year and she absolutely loved going there. We received videos from them so we could see how happy she was running around and playing with the other dogs. She was always excited to go every day and we could relax knowing she was happy and well cared for. I think any dog that gets the opportunity to go to Anna's Ark is a very lucky one.
I can't fault Anna's Ark it's our little cockapoo's second home and she absolutely loves it! She's gone to here since she was a puppy and from day one shes loved Anna and the team. Brilliant at communicating and keeping you up to date with things and when we've needed some last minute or extra days they have been brilliant with fitting our pup in (bonus with drop off's and pick ups especially now we have another baby in the family) also Helen being a dog trainer and getting in some lessons to help through the puppy stage helped us out so much! And then the socialising with other dogs at the Ark has done wonders for our girl. Would give more than 5 stars if I could, just can't recommend enough.
My dog has been going to Anna every week day for the last 6 months. Anna and her team are 100% brilliant. I can't thank them enough! They love my dog, and I feel totally happy knowing that he has a brilliant exhaustive time, under the care of people that care for and look out for him. Our cockapoo Nelly previously went to another daycare for a half-day trial - she whined and cried the entire four hours she was there and we were told we needed to take her to a doggy psychologist. Turns out, we just needed to take her to Anna’s Ark! Anna worked with Nelly to build up her time spent at daycare gradually and was so patient and loving with her. Nelly now gets so excited when she she realises where we are going. She often doesn’t want to leave Anna, Stu and Helen. The socialising with other dogs has been amazing for her confidence and she greets and plays with dogs so much more calmly and politely now. I could not recommend Anna’s Ark more.
Anna is the best dog sitter ever! She is reliable, trustworthy and punctual and our dog loves her to bits! He has a fantastic time when she has him and comes home absolutely exhausted! He goes into crazy puppy mode every time she comes to pick him up and we know he is safe with her. We work long hours and our son is at school so Anna’s is the perfect place for a chewy Labrador to let off some steam and not eat the whole house! We love Anna and really don’t know how we would manage without her.
From the very first contact Anna was so helpful, fitting Bella our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel of 8 months into her schedule on exactly the day and times needed. I have had so many helpful tips on feeding and nothing is too much trouble. Bella absolutely loves it at Anna’s from her morning welcome cuddle with Stu she enjoys every moment playing with the other dogs at Anna’s Ark coming home tired and happy! I can’t recommend this wonderful place highly enough.
I was nervous about asking someone into our home and to care for our boy whilst we were away for a few days. I should not have worried. Alison came to the house and met us all and got to know our dog and was very friendly. I received photographs and updates on how he was and they showed him on walks and being very settled at home, which meant we could relax and enjoy our time away with no worries. We came home to a very happy boy and a report on how he had been whilst we were away, which was also informative and showed how Alison was interested in finding out his ways and ensuring he was also settled and not anxious without us. I cannot rate Alison enough, she helped us out at the last moment when we were going on holiday. She was friendly and informative when she visited for introductions and we felt instantly happy and reassured that she would look after our dogs. Her passion and care for looking after dogs was evident to see and how much she loved dogs!! We had regular updates and photos when we were away and was able to enjoy and relax on our holiday knowing Alison was at our home caring for my two. Dave looked after our 4 dogs whilst we got married and I cannot recommend Barnfield pets highly enough. This was our first time leaving our dogs in someone other than families care so we were a little nervous, but on meeting Dave & Sue, all of our worries disappeared! We have just had Alison of Barnfield Pet Services looking after our three dogs and our home for nearly a month. We cannot speak too highly of the service provided. This was the first time we had left our dogs, and we were concerned how they would react. We contacted Alison at Barnfield Pet Services looking for a last minute wedding chaperone for our dog. Alison was super helpful & connected us with lovely Pam who came and looked after our dog at our wedding. We had great communication with Pam & Alison before our wedding planning our day. On the day Pam arrived early, and took our dog for a long walk before sprucing him up to come to our ceremony & to be a part of our photos! We didnt have to worry about our dog on the day, Pam had it all in control & we knew he was in great hands. We would recommend Barnfield Pet Services to everyone & wouldn't hesitate to use again for pet services in the future.
Kevin looked after our dogs at our wedding and I cannot recommend him and Barnfield Pet Services enough. He was incredibly conscientious leading up to the ceremony, checking in on all the details and very concerned about making sure the dogs (and we) were comfortable. On the day of he did an amazing job taking care of them. Everything ran smoothly from getting them in their outfits to making sure they were fed, hydrated and happy. He even took the time to interact with the children at our wedding, letting them play with the dogs and teaching them how to interact with animals as one had a fear of dogs. We could not have been more impressed. Having him there to take care of the dogs was one of the best decisions we made. Barnfield were also amazing in getting everything organised quickly, clearly and easily. They provided incredibly prompt and thorough responses to all our questions and the process of getting everything sorted was very easy. I As a dog owner having someone you can trust to take care of the dogs on your big day, bring them over to you for visits, and then take them away to have fun until the next one is a dream. Barnfield Pet Services has given our family a Fantastic service. Beth stayed in our home for 2 weeks and looked after our dog and cat. She was absolutely brilliant and sent us pictures and videos of them regularly and they were so happy. We felt comfortable and had peace of mind every second. When we got back home they were perfectly fine and our house was immaculate. I couldn't have asked for a better person to look after them and we would definitely ask her to come back in the future.
