We recently house sat for Sheryn and Frank and beautiful Maybe, the cat. We had a lovely experience. Sheryn and I kept in touch leading up to the sit so we were very well prepared. We also kept in touch during the sit. Their house is lovely and the gardens beautiful. Maybe was a well behaved little kitty who loved being around. I would recommend this lovely sit to anyone wanting to sit in Brisbane. The house is close to shops and cafes as well as the transport system. We had a great time. Thank you to Sheryn and Frank.
A lovely sit, in a modern and very comfortable house on the edge of the New Forest. Heidi, the cat was relaxed and happy during our stay and was no trouble to look after. Val and Robin made us very welcome and left comprehensive notes which were useful. Great walks close by and close to all amenities.
We had a marvellous stay at Ross and Rory’s resort home in Nanoose Bay on the beautiful Vancouver Island, where we also reside. This allowed us to meet and hang out with Stanley, Spencer and Ivy prior to our longer stay. Their beautiful home has the most magnificent ocean and garden views from both levels, inside and out. You can save the visit to Butchart Gardens in Victoria and instead enjoy the amazing gardens at this home. If you love to cook the kitchen is a dream, a real Chef’s kitchen, with every small appliance and gadget known to man. Communication with Ross and Rory was always smooth. They clearly outlined the needs and schedules of the dogs, both verbally and with written notes. Ross and Rory are easy-going, fun and it was a pleasure to spend time with them leading up to our stay. It was love at first sight with these very special dogs. We had the care of Spencer, just under a year old, and Ivy, just shy of four months. They kept us entertained as they played with one another, chasing balls and toys and then snuggling in together for a rest. Remarkably well trained for any age, let alone puppies, they came when called and obeyed all the commands they knew. They followed us around and if we left for more than a few minutes the welcome back was astounding. They enjoyed getting out for their walks and exploring their quiet neighborhood and trails. My favourite part of the day was late afternoon cuddles, both Spencer and Ivy curled up on my lap, while I soaked up the sunshine and view. If you have a chance to stay at Ross and Rory’s Resort home and to take care of the sweetest puppies in the world, I would highly recommend that you take the opportunity.
We throughly enjoyed our mini “farm vacation” at Tina Marie and Jamie’s lovely home. So much to see and do within a short walk, bike ride or drive. Whisky and Marley are adorable Labradors who are very social and extremely well behaved. Every day was a pleasure to spend with these delightful pups. Communication with Tina Marie couldn’t have been easier and she and Jamie went out of their way to ensure that we enjoyed our housesit with Whisky and Marley. A 5* + housesit for sure!!
Rachel and Cameron were great they were very quick with their responses and showed me around the house and even took me on a walk with Simba to make sure I was comfortable with where I was going etc. Really loved my time with Simba. He’s a great companion was very polite and friendly. He was great to walk in big open spaces would play around but would always come back and check where I was to make sure he was following me. Would definitely recommend this sit and would love to be back myself.
