I absolutely loved taking care of Luna she is the sweetest and bubbliest ever. Jamie was incredibly nice and communicative and made sure I felt right at home in his beautiful house, a paradise for music and movie lovers- thoroughly enjoyed staying in watching a movie cuddled up with Luna! This home is in a lovely area, close to a park for some nice walks, close enough to a town full of lovely cafes restaurants and shops and a super easy trip on public transport to the city center. I loved seeing how energetic and loving Luna is, she was absolutely bursting to say hello to everyone and give everyone some love, very popular amongst dog lovers we came across. I truly felt sad to say goodbye to her and I already miss her so much! I would gladly come spend more time with Luna any time and anyone should be lucky to receive all that love she so wants to give 🫶🏻
Where do we even begin?! We had a fantastic experience in Mae Tang with Anoma, Chris, Snoot and Tang that would be in our memories forever! Anoma and Chris were very friendly from the first minute that we met them. They always put us super confortable in their own house a treath us like family. Anoma was always sharing us really nice cafes and restaurants in the area, she gave us a driver contact that drove us to Chiang Mai during the weekends and she truly cared if we are having a great time in her house, Thai hospitality can't be matched. Chris is such a nice person to be around, always ready to have a nice conversation and to help in everything we need. Both of them are super passion about Tang and Snoot, we felt that right away. The house and space is incredible, super relaxing and safe. We had the best bodyguard in the world in Mae Tang! The house is a tradicional Thai house, with everything we need to have a confortable stay. This time we only took care of Tang, since Snoot were on holidays with Anoma and Cris. Tang didn'd required to much work, he always ready to eat and had nice walks around the proprity a long side us. It takes a bit of time to get use to us and is important that we respect his space. Once he gets confortable he really likes to nap close to you, go after you to have some snacks and play catching some toys. We super recomend this sitting and can't say enough good things from Anoma and Chris as hosts. You will get a genuine experience in rural Thailand and met wonderful people everyday! Thank you Anoma and Cris for having us! 😃
Wow, what a special place — insane outdoor activities at your fingertips, great people who make your stay easy and enjoyable, and impeccable pets that will steal your heart. I’d sit for Brent and Kim at the drop of a hat.
Donna will make you feel like an honored guest, and her condo and kitties are adorable. Everything is thoughtful and common-sensical--well, except for the cats, who are absurd, fascinating and v easy to care for. If you are visiting the area and were thinking more of Portland, or maybe if you want to explore the west slopes of the Cascades, consider Donna's Gresham home. It is a 15 minute walk from MAX, so just walk there and head into Portland for the day by light rail, no worries! And it is literally a block from the Springwater Corridor, offering a wealth of walking and biking opportunities. It is also a perfect jumping off place for heading east and exploring the mountains. Gresham itself is still a place were people make eye contact and say 'hi' as they pass you on the street.
Diane is a dynamo of experience, information and organization! Ron and Diane are a great couple with a nice home in the woods near the coast. They greeted me warmly and prepared a nice dinner the night before they left on their bike tours. Diane makes great effort to ensure you are fully oriented and comfortable in their home. Taking care of their older cat Einstein was really fun. He escorted me around the property the entire time. We had a good time watching videos inside or sitting on the patio watching an array of wild birds, turkeys, and rabbits. The home is near a nice State Park with an inviting Lake, and about a half hour from Rye Beach or Portsmouth. I highly recommend this sit and I hope to see them again.
