This was a really easy house/pet sit! Pet sitting Shuki was really enjoyable. He has a loveable and mellow personality. He definitely is easy going and loves to be loved! Marjorie and Dan have a very comfy and family friendly home. Marjorie was so kind to have the extra bedrooms available to use for my (2) kids ages 11 and 13 who also loved on Shuki when they joined me for the latter portion of the house/pet sit. The location of the home is ideal for enjoying local food and atmosphere. I drove in and appreciated being able to leave my car in the driveway. The neighborhood felt safe. I enjoyed taking the BART (15-20 min walk or 3 min drive) to get into SF one day and drove into SF another day which only took 20 - 30minutes. From the moment I arrived I felt welcomed into their home with a delicious bakery treat and clear communication of Shuki's needs and all the necessary information. This is definitely a house/pet sit I hope to return to in the future!
Absolutely loved our stay with Elaine and Andrew's kitty, Luna. This little kitty is the most adorable and sweetest kitty ever. Very well mannered and loved to play. She also liked to cuddle with us and sleep at night near us. She was a great alarm kitty in the morning too lol. The cutest and audible meow ever. I fell in love with her affection and happiness. Also, the bed was by far the most comfortable we've slept on so far on our winter sabbatical. Boulder is a great place to hike, and Elaine and Andrew left us a gift to check out the local brewery. We fast made friends! Highly recommend to sit for this lovely family.
Sammie and Charlie were two wonderful dogs to look after. They love being outdoors just as much as we do! Sammie enjoys playing ball in the garden and is fantastic at bringing the ball straight back. Charlie enjoys a game of tug of war and basking in the sunshine. They both enjoy snuggling up for a cuddle in the evening and will then happily walk to their crate at night and sleep through til morning. Bob and Betty were so welcoming and generous as hosts and their house was fantastic. Communication throughout the stay was simple and easy. Kyle and Allison were communicative and responsive both before and during the sit. Their home is very cozy and the neighborhood has lots of great areas to explore. The two pups were so sweet and playful. Very easy to walk which they were always eager to do.
Martijn and his family have been great hosts! We had great contact and they did everything to make me feel completely comfortable! The apartment is clean and tidy and in a great location!! You have everything your heart desires nearby. Bus and train, which take you quickly to the beautiful beach of Scheveningen or to the city from Den Haag, are just around the corner. Martijn showed me a secure free car park about 8 minutes walk from the apartment. Kwazi is very shy at first and takes some time to get used to strangers, but then she is an absolutely adorable and very fun cat! She has a great sense of humor and she can also fetch! She is really very sweet! I would love to come back anytime!! Thank you for letting me be there!!
The house sit in Prescott Arizona went very well. The home was in excellent condition. The home was very comfortable and the accommodations matched. Sancho and Cali played hide and seek with us the majority of the time that we were there. Cali was very distant and on a couple of occasions allowed us to touch her. Sancho on the other hand was very friendly and hung out with us quite frequently. We could not have asked for a better house sit. We did meet some of the neighbors who were equally friendly. If we are ever in Prescott Arizona area again and Bob needed us to housesit for him, we would be more than delighted. We would highly recommend this to anyone seeking to take care of two cats.
