This was my first sit, and it was a wonderful experience. Great communication before during and after from Deb. She and her comfy home have a lot in common: Both are warm, welcoming, eclectic and spirited. The house has a ton of charm and Deb has allowed it to retain its period details and character with subtle updates. Lovely outdoor space on a quiet street, but only a few minutes’ walk away from shopping, restaurants, and Metro. As a NYC girl, I was excited beyond words to see a chipmunk and a rabbit in the backyard, and in disbelief at how quiet it was at night for sleeping. And Miss Lucy… what a sweet, expressive, affectionate kitty! She greets you with meows when you walk into the room and rushes over for a head rub and chin scratch. And she will tell you in no uncertain terms when she wants to be brushed, which is her first love. If the meows don’t get a quick enough response, she will plop down on the floor and start rolling around on her back to illustrate the point. I had so many laughs and conversations with her during the sit. She’s completely low maintenance, perfectly behaved, and excellent company. You’ll start missing her the moment you close the door behind you. I had a wonderful 2 weeks in Deb and Lucy’s cozy home, and would gladly return if invited.
