Duck is the fluffiest dog ever!!! 😍 He was very responsive to me. Duck and MJ had lots of fun in the back yard, running, jumping and chasing squirrels and bunnies ha ha. The house is very comfy and inviting. John was very communicate and make us feel at home. The neighborhood is quiet and nice, i felt safe to go out at night with the pups. Thank you John and Duck!
This was our first house sit and we were completely spoiled. From our first interactions with Todd, he was patient, friendly and informative. Todd and his family were so welcoming when we arrived that it made us feel comfortable right away. The two cats, Elmer and Elsie, were lots of fun--always ready to interact, but also content to relax in the backyard. Todd had anticipated any potential issues and the instructions were extremely clear, which made our experience completely stress-free. We highly recommend house sitting for Todd and his family. We had a great experience and would love to have the opportunity to do it again!
Great experience! Hal's owners are very clear in their communication, have an efficient system set up for the sitter to be comfortable and be able to do what's expected of him/her. Eli provided great recommendations for town activities (by the way, Yucca North is a really great bar with amazing sandwiches at good prices). Hal is a very special dog, sitters need to know how to handle him and give him time, he's shy at first, but if you don't scare him by rushing him, he will warm up to you in the first day and will want to sleep with you every day. Avoid eye contact, wait until he comes to you for petting, your hand needs to be below him when doing so at first, no loud noises or sudden movements, etc. I used pieces of bread during the first hours to get his attention and make him happy. This is all only for the first few hours, he's very quick at recognizing that you're not a threat and only want to be his friend. The house is really nice and comfortable as well!

I can’t recommend Green Acres Pet Resort enough! This is truly a one of a kind place. They not only provide a wonderful daycare and boarding experience for both you and your pet, they take the time and effort to learn each individual dog’s personality! On Oliver’s first day they introduced him slowly to their daycare group and gave a lovely report back. He has been going every single day for the last 3 months and they even notice if he gets a bit overwhelmed. Due to their knowledge and training they are able to give him some space when he needs it away from friends and give him individual attention! They treat him as their own! I mean his smile proves it! Shout out to Laura, Lauren, Brandon, Danielle, Katie, and the entire Green Acres Family! Keep spreading the love, smiles, and laughter that comes with caring for our beloved pets!
Our dog, Murphy, seemed to have a great time at Green Acres. I toured the facility beforehand and explained my concerns to Kade about Murphy's anxiety issues, recently starting medication, and other relevant history like triggers to his reactivity. I felt listened to - I get the feeling that more info regarding your dog is welcomed here, which isn't always the case at daycare facilities. Overall, my concerns were alleviated. Murphy started his day with a 1-on-1 with a staff member and eventually worked up to playing with another dog with a similar disposition. The report card was a nice touch and put me at ease knowing what all went on throughout the day (I greatly encourage Green Acres to keep up this transparency). Lastly, Murphy acted like himself and seemed relaxed after I brought him home, which wasn't always the case at other facilities we've tried - we think the large group play elsewhere was stressing him out. This was great to see. The facility is clean, staff is nice and seems knowledgeable, and I felt Murphy was well cared for. It was nice to find a facility that has options for reactive dogs that need 1-on-1 or small group play only. I understand others' concerns regarding not being able to bring toys/blankets for boarding and food not being returned, but at least for our dog, the pros greatly outweigh the cons. We'll see if boarding goes as well as the first daycare day did, but I think it will. Edit: Murphy has been boarded and attended daycare several times since this review. The staff takes great care of him and I'm thrilled he's had opportunities for small group play when conditions are right.
I have a couple of huskies who are total menaces. Green Acres Pet Resort took great care of them though! I loved that both my social boy and my not-so-social boy had options to get loved on by the staff each day. They were both happy and healthy when we got them home after being away for a week, and we'll definietly be boarding them with Green Acres again!
Today was Chloe’s first time at green acres the staff were all wonderful.I had no anxiety at all about leaving my baby girl there in fact I have already booked another day. I am so happy to have a safe and caring place for Chloe Looks like she had a good time and now it’s nap time
Great experience at drop off and pick up. Friendly staff. I do wish they gave a bot more feedback about how their stay was. I have no idea how she was during the stay other than a staff member saying "she did great". Would take her back but wish they had a report card or something.
My dogs Chuck and Linda could NOT have had a better experience with Green Acres! Being a veterinary industry pet-mom, I can sometimes be a little leary of what I would expect from a kennel catering to veterinary professionals - but I was surprised so comfortable I felt with the entire staff! The woman we initially checked in with was super informative and sweet to both me and my dogs. When they took them back to the boarding area, they didn't even look back at me!! I have never had that level of comfort when dropping my babies off for boarding. The facility is also good smelling and clean. I will never board my dogs anywhere else!

I would highly recommend Green Acres! Our dog is a rescue, and this was her first time boarding somewhere. I was nervous she’d have a hard time, especially because she is sometimes scared of new people. When I went to pick her up, they led her out, she saw me, and instead of running immediately to me, she ran to the front desk worker to give her a kiss goodbye. She seemed completely comfortable and happy around the staff, which was a huge relief. We’ll be using them again anytime we need to board!
It was the first time Paul stayed at Green Acres and when I dropped him off, Kade at the front desk gave me great information calming at nerves I had for him being new. I emailed to check in how he was and they responded very shortly after. Upon pick up, the employee who brought him up front said he greeted her everyday with a wagging tail and was super friendly and happy - she told us he has to come back. Very happy with Green Acres, Paul will definitely stay with them again when we need it! Currently all tuckered out at home.
My experience with Green Acres has been good-everyone is friendly and helpful-there have been a few occasions where I felt the employees went above and beyond to make my dog feel more comfortable during his stay-I especially enjoyed hearing that one of the employees sings to my dog. I’m leaving a positive review about the staff there. So friendly, so kind and always so helpful. It’s clearly a well-run operation. My dog also asked me to leave a positive review. I mean he can’t speak, so I guess I’m Interpreting his request through his actions. When I arrive to Paradise Paws, my dog practically jumps out of my arms and runs across the room to the door that leads him to the other dogs. At home, he just lays around and does nothing but at Paradise Paws, he is the leader of a little dog gang of 4 dogs. You can just tell that he thinks he’s in charge.
The 1 star is because the staff was very friendly. We took our golden retriever here for a groom and it was very disappointing. The first thing that I was asked was “How much do you want cut off?”. Her tail, ears, back, neck, chest should all be different lengths. Her paws were still green from grass stains and there was even a seed from a bush she got into a few days before. It looks like they bathed her and clipped a couple sections of her hair. I had to ask for her ears to get trimmed at pick-up because there were still knots. The photos show what it it ended up as. (This is AFTER I asked them to fix her ears). The back of her legs aren’t shaped, her ears were not cleaned, her butt fluff isn’t shaped, her tail isn’t shaped, there are obvious “snips” around her entire body. It looks like she wasn’t brushed. Even her tummy isn’t shaped. I wish I could leave a review purely on the staff’s friendliness because the overall groom for $72 deserves 0 stars. We could’ve done it ourselves. Maybe it’s just goldens but if you have one I would HIGHLY advise you do not go here.
Paradise paws always makes my timid doxie feel safe. Karen is always so informative and helpful in her feedback regarding my dog's stay. It is the only place we feel safe leaving him at.
Fantastic. My 16 year old was cared for with so much love. They really understand the needs of senior dogs and made sure Roxie was comfortable during her 5 day stay. This is my go to place from now on for my senior girl, and for any future pup I may have. I was amazed at the detailed check in, the before check in call the day before. They are the boss! Super organized. 10 stars.
We are glad we can bring Betty Boots to Paradise Paws because everytime we come she is happy, excited, and ready to play. The staff is friendly and able to answer my questions (or can find out who can answer my questions). Betty loves getting to go and loves getting all the love and snuggles. Everyone seems to know her by name there. Thanks for taking such good care of her when we are out of town or just need a little break!

I have been taking Kota to Paradise Paws for over a year now. Kota gets so excited she cries the entire drive... She gets so worn out she sleeps till morning lol I always look forward to the pictures they post of our fur babies. Karen and her staff are all wonderful! I love the amenities they offer, I am able to have her groomed and ready to go by the time I pick her up after work. I couldn't imagine taking Kota anywhere else :)
We have had our Afghan Hounds groomed here and are very satisfied. Our dogs look much better and are happy. The groomer is very careful - no nicks or skin irritations.
I cannot say enough good things about Paradise Paws. This is the only place I will take my little girl. Karen and her staff are amazing! The philosophy is like no other. Thinking too many of us know what a wonderful facility this is as spots fill quickly and sometimes it’s hard to get in. This just shows the high level of care your pet is getting. We have used furstars on many occasions over the years when we have gone for vacation. We love Michelle and Steven and and its great knowing that our pups Oscar and Paddy are well taken care of and spoiled with their big fenced in yard for running and playing while we are gone. My dog had his first night sleepover with Fur Stars last night and it couldn’t have gone any better! I knew he would be well taken care of, as if he was at home with me. I’m happy that he could roam free, play with other dogs, and sleep in his dog bed instead of being in a kennel for hours at a time if he was boarded. 10/10 will be using their services again and would highly recommend them!
Absolutely the best dog care when I am away from home. My dog Henry loves to go here! Michelle and Steve are so good to him. it’s a comfortable home environment with a huge yard to run. By far beats all of the kennel boarding places!
We LOVE Michelle and Steven and so do our girls!! The "just like home" aspect of this is wonderful!! I love that they aren't kenneled the whole time we are gone and that they get to interact with the rest of the "guests" and play in a huge fenced in back yard!! We have no worries when we leave them with Michelle and Steven!! Simply the BEST!!
We love taking our dog here - he has anxiety issues and I don't like to leave him with just anyone. Michelle and Steven always take really good care of our dog and they have a huge, fenced-in back yard that my dog loves to run around in. I also enjoy not having to worry about my dog when we're away.

Love how flexible they are with pick-up and drop-off, and love knowing my dog isn't spending her time in a kennel alone. My pup can be a bit shy and has trouble adjusting to new places, but she had a great time at fur stars and came home happy, healthy, and tired!

I have been bringing my dog here for a year and a half for weekend boarding while out of town (and one time almost a full week). She is always so excited to come here. She runs inside each time we go, sometimes it’s hard for us to keep up! She is so happy when she goes in AND comes out to us after her stay. You can call whenever the office is open for an update on your dog, no additional charge, which is amazing. The best is when we sign up for pictures of her during her playtime, which they text to us. Jenna, is amazing. She is always so attentive to my dog while checking her in, making sure her medical information is noted with what she needs during her stay, which they review with you every time you come. Jenna has provided me with detailed responses to questions I have. They take the time to get to know your dog and give them the attention they need. I feel the pricing of their services is well deserved. I have never had to worry about my dog while she was there. The one time she had a small scratch on her leg, in her many stays, they pointed it out to us during pick up explaining what had happened (she got excited and jumped on to something too fast, scratching her leg). We really appreciated them pointing it out to us and it was gone in two days, no biggie! I have had friends bring their dogs there as well. They also had good experiences. I highly recommend Meyer’s! And so does Arya!
Meyer's did a phenomenal job grooming my two golden retrievers. I've taken my dogs to various different groomers between Wisconsin, Michigan, and Illinois, and not only did they do the best job out of all of them, they were also the most reasonably priced! Meyer's was also incredibly flexible and understanding when I had life happen and was unable to take a trip (thus not boarding the dogs). They will forever be my choice for boarding and grooming and they should be yours as well!
We take our schnauzer, Ernie and our wheaten terrier Farley to Janet at Meyers Animal House, and they love going there. Janet knows how to make a schnauzer look like a schnauzer and a wheaten to look like a wheaten. They must know how to treat them right because they’re happy to go in and of course they’re happy to go home. They even get report cards. They’ve all done very well and never had to go to the principals office:-)
Our dog Finn loves going to daycare at Meyer’s! And we love that he’s tired when he comes home! 😂 They take such good care of their doggy daycare pups. The very best around!
Everyone here is very nice. I have 3 furbabies. And each time they go they come back beautiful and smelling fantastic. They do a fantastic job knowledgeable in the cuts that each type of dogs hair can do. and offer so many treatments. Their prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend services great with your animal family.
Myers is part of my family. Just ask my dogs. The owners and staff are fully engaged in providing a structured environment for funfilled daycare or boarding experiences. Taylored boarding packages allow clients to pick one to suit their pet. As a client, my dogs have boarded and attended daycare the past 8 years. All my dogs were rescues to include a special needs dog that they handled brilliantly; she adored them. All became more well rounded. Myers kept them safe, when I had projects at home where their well being would have been jeopardized. So yes, Meyers is a huge part of my family!
The groomer does such a great job handling our difficult Springerdoodle. She is so kind and caring and even though our dog is less than cordial to her! I highly recommend!

Our Mabel has been a “student” at Zendogs for more than 2 years. The best part of my day is dropping her off and picking her up. A truly tired and happy girl! I cannot say enough about the Zendog team. They take great care of our pups and love them almost as much as we do.
The team at Zen dogs is great! They respond to inquiries extremely fast and give all of the dogs the attention they deserve. Drop off and pick up is super easy and they offer a time frame that makes it convenient for any work schedule.
My girlfriend and I LOVE this place! Honestly can't say enough good things about them and the people that work there! We have a totally deaf 6 month old Catahoula Leopard Dog mix and started bringing her to Zen Dogs about 3 weeks ago. They had never looked after a deaf dog before, but welcomed us with open arms. We immediately started seeing positive changes in her behavior around other dogs. Before bringing her here she would be very skittish around other dogs, especially at the dog park. She would hide between our legs, get scared of larger dogs, etc. Now, she plays with ALL the dogs at the dog park. It is sometimes hard for us to get her in the car because she love playing with other dogs so much now. The employees here are also top notch. They take the time to let you know the highlights of your dogs day, and who their favorite play buddies were. Thank you so much Zen Dogs for helping our pup build up confidence. We will be a lifelong customer!

We have been bringing our two dogs to Zen Dogs for about two years, since they were puppies. I can’t say enough about the high quality of care they receive at Zen Dogs. The staff are incredible. They know all the dogs’ preferences and personalities, they are very knowledgeable about dog behavior, and they’re super attentive, making this a safe and happy place for dogs to socialize. Not to mention clean! This is by far the cleanest pet business I have ever seen! Our rescue dog came to us as a very fearful puppy, and over her two years at Zen Dogs has become so much more confident and relaxed. Both dogs absolutely love their days at Zen Dogs. We have also done some of the training classes taught by Zen Dogs staff, and I have been so pleased with their skill and positive approach to training. If you’re looking for a place for your dog to have fun, exercise, build confidence, and continue working on their manners, this place is the best!
Zen Dogs is simply amazing. The facility is incredibly clean and clearly well thought out in order to meet the needs of all dogs. Plus, the entire staff cares for your pup as if he/she was their own! We started bringing our dog 2x/week and have found it has made a huge positive impact in our dogs temperament and overall disposition. The socialization, stimulation and exposure he gets while there make a big impact in our dog's personality and when he have to skip a week - it shows. Even though there are not dedicated "training" sessions, our dog's manners have definitely improved through Zen Dogs staff consistent and thoughtful approach to our dog. I can not rave enough about the place!
Zen Dogs is the absolute best place on the planet! I have never been so impressed with a business before - from the care they give the dogs to the facility to the staff - I am blown away! We started bringing our puppy to burn off some energy, but it has provided so much more for him than that. He gets the highest quality of care from the most amazing staff and not only comes home tired, but better behaved. Kori, Lynn, and the rest of the care team are phenomenal people who genuinely care about every animal they work with. I am so thrilled with Zen Dogs and I will be telling everyone I know to enroll their dogs immediately!!
I completely trust Zen dogs to take care of my Border Collie as if it is their own. Their facility is so clean and the staff are all friendly and professional. They stay on top of all things, are well organized and great at communicating. I would recommend Zen dogs to everyone who loves their puppy/dog and wants the best daycare for them. They also have puppy school, which I also highly recommend!

First time boarding with Prairie Pawz for my 2 German Shepherds. I have one with severe food and environmental allergies who always loses weight when boarding at other facilities. Ahsoka and Aayla came home happy and tired. Ahsoka also didn’t look like she lost weight! Woohoo! They stayed in a suite which is the size of a small bedroom. Even had camera access. We checked on them every now and then while we were out of state. We added a couple more walks for them on the weekends and 1/2 day of daycare while they stayed. They also sent me their first day update which I loved very much. I can not express my gratitude to them. They have taken care our babies and I’m so thankful. We will definitely be back for their boarding services. We also added them for daycare twice a week now that our minds are at ease they do wonderful here. Thank you Prairie Pawz. You will see the Rugrats more!
Don’t send your dog here if you want them to be taken care of. My pup came home from their care with an enormous amount of their pea gravel in her digestive tract and needed to be hospitalized. They admitted that other dogs have eaten the gravel too but they took no accountability for this happening under their care. For her to eat that much gravel she would have been unsupervised for quite some time. The vet even confirmed all the rocks had to have been eaten all in that day. And somehow they say no one noticed so if you want your dog to actually be watched, this is not the place.
Recently had our family dog groomed here! Myah did a fantastic job and took great care of our furry friend. I couldn't recommend her more!
We love Prairie Pawz for daycare and boarding! My dog loves daycare and always comes home tired. The staff are great and take time to get to know each dog and make sure they are set up for a successful day. Some days at daycare my dog was not having a great day and the staff reached out to provide updates and suggestions to help other days go more smoothly. They are so helpful! I have only boarded my dog once so far, but it went well. The staff took care ahead of time to answer all of my questions and help me feel more comfortable leaving my dog there for over a week. She was there long enough to get the free bath offered and came home extra fluffy and smelling like vanilla. Also I tend to ask a lot of questions and the staff are always happy to answer without making it seem like a bother. Would recommend!
I have taken my dog to several places and never have I been happier than I was with Prairie Pawz. Paige goes above and beyond and fit me in with a last minute call for an appointment. I highly recommend this place. Even my Bella loves it.

My dog has been going to Prairie Pawz for day care and occassional boarding since 2019. Both he and I are super pleased with the personalized care and attention he receives. When I pick him up and they say "he had a good day", it comes across as genuine. I applaud the conscientious staff who are able to key in to his moods and know when he needs to chill for awhile. It is important to me and my dog that he have outdoor time and they have a good yard area for the dogs.
My dog Lana loves going to Prairie Pawz! Lana goes twice a week to daycare and recently got boarded there for the first time! We’ve had nothing but great experiences, and they even called once when I forgot to drop my dog off for daycare. You can really tell they care about the pups ❤️
My senior dog had a wonderful time here! They knew his chart when I walked in, very friendly and attentive. Never seen my dog so happy after a boarding stay!!! Love Luna Pet Resort! We've tried a few places in the area but I feel like they provide the best play time for our dog and the staff is way more personable than other boarding places. I never worry about our dog when she stays with them, and she's super tuckered out when I pick her up so I know she had a fun time ☺️
We boarded our dog, Sophie, for a weekend while we went out of town. The staff were all incredibly great and treated Sophie with the care she needed. Our pupper can be an anxious one when put in new situations. The staff communicated with us about giving her her own space and sent us pictures. Sophie looked so happy and we will definitely be using Luna Pet Resort in the future! They also have lots of add ons to make your pet's stay even more comfy, such as snacks and care packages. We added a bath for our dog's stay and she was both happy and clean when we picked her up!
I brought my puppy to Luna Pet Resort for her first sleepover last night and she loved it. I was nervous about letting anyone else care for her (since she’s my baby!), but they made me feel confident that she was in good hands. She got hours of play time with new friends, a big room with a comfy sofa to herself, and lots of love from the staff. When I came to pick her up, she looked so happy and at home at Luna.
Winnie goes absolutely CRAZY for Luna! As soon as we pull into the parking lot, she couldn’t care less about us, she just wants to get inside and see her friends! Clearly she is well taken care of during her overnight visits to have so much excitement to return each time. We love that we can have photo updates sent to us during her stay and we love that we always get a tired pup for a day or two after she’s there. We would highly recommend Luna to anyone needing dog care in the Madison area.
Trini loves going to Luna. She finishes her day tired of playing so much. The staff always keep me updated and they send cute pictures of her!
I have been very happy with Luna Pet Resort. Cali is an anxious dog so it is great that she can have a nice room away from the commotion. She also doesn't always do the best with other dogs and they take the time to figure out which dogs she would interact well with. They even offered to have someone sit with her while she eats to make sure she actually eats. I appreciate getting a couple of photos of her stay.
We love Luna Pet Resort. I’ve had several dogs stay here. My senior dog was well-cared for and spoiled but has since passed away. Our new puppy is almost a year old now and has been with Luna since 4-months old. She and we LOVE the resort. She is well cared for and loves her “vacations”. The staff is loving and the owners are the biggest dog fans I’ve ever met. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with our little girl.
Words cannot describe how much I truly love Luna Pet Resort!! 👌 A friend of mine who lived in Waunakee told me about Luna so we setup a time to come take a tour of the facility. Immediately I was impressed with how much it didn't look like a typical kennel. The rooms looked like rooms in a home. The dogs instantly felt comfortable walking around and absolute loved everyone - and so did I! As we departed for our trip I felt completely at ease about leaving our little furry loved ones. I also received daily updates on how they were doing - which I loved! Also during their stay they received complimentary baths and their belongings were cleaned. When we picked them up we were greeted by everyone who came to see them off. Everyone at Luna really treated us like family and I would recommend them to anyone. 💙🐶🎉
LPR has taken great care of our fur baby for us. They send us daily updates while we’re gone so we know how she’s doing. They even checked in on Bella when they heard she was sick. The staff members are friendly and the resort is always nice and clean.
