We enjoyed our stay with energetic Tiny and handsome Macho - two very cool cats. Both were easily content with some playtime and your everyday cardboard box. And even though they are ready to eat at the expected times, they refrain from disturbing your sleep. Joanne's home is well appointed and tidy. The A/C was much appreciated on a few warm days. The closed windows also helped muffle any urban noises. Overall, it's a comfortable space that's tastefully decorated. Downtown Seattle is a very quick drive and you have the option to use public transportation. We're sure you'll enjoy your stay. We did.

Wow! What a wonderful lady, gorgeous cats and a truly beautiful home!

We had such a fantastic stay at Anne's house, Anne went waaay above and beyond to make us feel very welcome and comfortable in her home.

We arrived after a long drive and Anne greeted us with a big smile, lovely meal and great evening company. Anne gave us lots of brilliant tips on things to do in the area and even lent us her membership card to the museums & events in the area - which was very generous, thanks again!

We absolutely loved the area and Frances and Simon were so sweet, easy going and super relaxed kitties.

Trusted house sitter is not just a great way to travel but also to meet incredibly interesting, kind and super cool people! 10 out of 10!!!! THANK YOU ANNE XX

This sit gave me the opportunity to bring my daughter to spend time with animals. She has loved animals of all kinds her whole life, and at 26, she is not able to access them as much as she would like. Jenny, Dan and Winnie, were gracious enough to welcome us to do this sit with open, trusting arms! This was the young family's first sit. I was impressed with their ability to make us feel completely comfortable in their home and with their animals. If you are chosen for this sit, you will find that their Welcome Guide is very thorough, detailed and accurate, thus making it easy to follow and refer to. There are two bedrooms, a bathroom and rec room in the basement that are nicely laid out to accommodate guests. The beds were also extremely comfortable!

Gus and Zoe are the dogs. Gus is a sweetheart and will be happy with getting all the attention you are able to give. I did find that sometimes I needed to take him outside on the leash to do 'business' before he would eat. He can be a picky eater, but this did help a few times. You cannot leave food down that he did not finish or Zoe would eat it! Zoe never once let us touch her! She seems content to receive verbal praises and talking to along with food. She will go out for business by herself within the fenced area and if you keep an eye on her signs, you should not have a problem letting her out. Gus slept with me and slept under the covers the whole night! I didn't mind and he was no problem whatsoever, as he stayed there until I woke up!

The horses, Sneaky and Lucy, were lovely! They enjoy your company, don't mind when you pet them, but brushing can be hit and miss. We just took our cues from them and didn't push. We took them for a walk up the lane, but they were not comfortable being too far away from their field and shelter, so we let them eat all the grass they wanted, then returned. If you do this, they are very close, so try not to put too much distance between them. We found that Sneaky is better at being the leader on a walk. When Lucy was in front, she kept looking back to make sure Sneaky was close by!

The goats are a lot of fun! Jenny was very good at showing us the feeding routine and how to deliver their food to them. This is helpful as they are all very eager. You must keep an eye on where they are at all times if you have their enclosure open because if you then oepen the barn door, they will go in there quickly. It is hard to get them out, but food is always a good motivator.

The chickens and Eileen, the barn cat, were around and feeding them is easy, leaving their food out so they can access it at their leisure.

If you would like a lovely farm experience, this is the sit for you!

Charlotte
We had a wonderful time in London over the Easter week-end. Charlotte was very welcoming, showed us around before she left & gave us lots of ideas about things to do during our stay. Her home is comfortable & spacious with a really pretty garden. Primrose & Clovis are friendly, affectionate cats, easy to look after & love to have a lap to sit on, especially in the evenings. There are lots of riverside walks nearby & It was easy to hop on a bus to Richmond, Kew & into central London. We enjoyed the whole week-end & would love to do it again one day.

It was a real pleasure taking care of Tracey & Sharon's dog Milo and cat Jackson! They have a beautiful home and they were very warm and welcoming. Milo is a very well-behaved, talented dog and he's great fun on hikes! Jackson has lots of energy and a BIG personality...such a fun kitty! Even though I had lots of rain while I was there, I was still able to get out and do some fun things with Milo. It was also very relaxing to just stay home and hang out with Milo and Jackson. Thank you Tracey & Sharon!
