Cat Sitters in Novato, CA

This is our second time having J&N house sit and watch our pup, Stella. They are very communicative and reliable and our pup enjoys her time with them!

Jodie was a wonderful sitter. She was reliable, had clear communication, shared cute photos daily and left my place super clean. She was grounded and able to adapt to the changing needs of my very different two kitties. I would love for her to stay again and highly recommend her as a sitter

Craig was our sitter for 17 nights and left our home in great shape. Our cats are independent in and out boys but upon arriving home last night two of them were in the house and looked healthy and happy. Craig had even purchased a new grooming glove for our long haired boy. We really appreciated his communication and the plants all looked well taken care of also. We would definitely recommend Craig as a sitter.

I am so thrilled that Mia made a return visit to be with Buster, and he was even more excited! Mia is kind, communicative, responsible and super loving with Buster. He was very excited to be with her and she stayed in close touch with me during the visit. The house was tidy and bed was already stripped when I came home. So great to come home to a clean home and a happy, healthy pup. Thank you, Mia!

We were fortunate to have Chris and April watching over our Jack Russell and home while we recently traveled. Before we left we had sufficient time to personally go over the To Do List, meet and play with Daisy, get a good walk around the property and answer questions. During our time away Chris sent occasional pictures of Daisy that were much appreciated and reassuring that all was going well. When we returned, he and April had washed and replayed linens and towels and cleaned the house. It was great to come home and not need to clean the place up! Our dog had clearly bonded with them and it was comforting to see how they reacted with her. We would absolutely recommend Chris for anyone needing his services!

If you could give a sitter six stars, I'd do it for Sarah! Wow. She took such great care of our four cats and the rest of the house, we're just floored. She even paid close enough attention to one of our cats to suggest we get her checked out for possibly being diabetic. I hope she can sit for us again, because I just don't have enough wonderful words to express how grateful we are for her watching over our place while we were gone two weeks.

Theresa was simply amazing! Well organised, very friendly and she took great care of our pets. Our dog is a rescue and not always the friendliest girl, but you could tell that she quickly warmed up to Theresa. Our cat was sleeping on her lap in no time. Theresa sent us daily updates with photos, which we really appreciated. The whole communication before and during the per/house sitting was very smooth. We also really appreciate the fact that she left the house clean and tidy. Couldn't recommend her enough!

Mar & Franc were easygoing, communicative, and so respectful of my space and kitty! They were very chill about my unexpected lack of cell reception while away and were self-sufficient. They left the space clean and with a lovely treat and note. I would be excited to have Mar & Franc back anytime!

Gregory was a wonderful house guest and an even better pet sitter. Oscar can be a bit picky but Gregory clearly won him over as they appeared totally bonded when I got home. The dogs just know !!!

I am so grateful for Angela. Not only is she a delightful human being, but she took amazing care of my pets, plants and home. Communicating with Angela was smooth and easy. I appreciated her transparency. I loved the daily check-ins of a photo or video letting me know that everyone was doing well and having their own adventures. It is the best feeling to know that I can be away and not worry at all. I had zero worries or concerns leaving my furry kids in her care. I came home to a very happy and totally relaxed dog and cat, a clean home and thriving plants. I'd invite Angela back to stay in a heartbeat! Thank you, Angela for being awesome! We all appreciate you and I can't wait for you to meet the tiniest and newest addition to the fur fam. <3

Hannah was top notch! Where do I begin? I’ll begin with the fact that she jumped into caregiver mode when our cat swallowed a huge piece of grass and had to go to pet emergency for surgery. 😮‍💨 Hannah was amazing! So caring and responsive. She called the veterinarian and ultimately the pet hospital, consulting and keeping us in the loop the whole time! She ended up spending a good 24 hours dealing with this emergency and kitty was ok. After this we consulted on ways to prevent this from happening again and decided to try to keep him inside. Hannah showed a tremendous amount of patience as she put up with him howling to go out continuously. She made efforts to ease this transition by buying fancy toys to try to distract and keep him entertained. In the end we decided to let him out for short periods of time to satisfy his need for exploration and exercise. Hannah never did anything w/o communicating with us and she was kind and patient throughout! She developed a close bond with our cat, and after this unfortunate crisis, things settled down and she was able to enjoy nightly cuddles with the cat. In addition, Hannah cared for all of our outdoor and indoor plants, took in mail, took out garbage and even mailed a few things for us! I highly recommend Hannah for any future house/pet sitting! She is responsible, easy going, flexible and trustworthy!!

It was lovely to welcome Leslie and Allen back to our home. They came to our house 2 days earlier than scheduled as we had some sad news from the UK. They are a lovely couple and we now count them as very good friends. All of the animals were very well cared for and this year has been more of a challenge caring for Percy and Alice because of the amount of rain we have had which makes the grass much richer. So particular care has to be taken because of laminitis and they handled this perfectly. The cats were totally chilled out and not bothered that we had been away. We returned to a spotlessly clean house, much cleaner than we left it! and the garden had been maintained perfect. We now have 2 large lawns to cut so we are so grateful Allen managed to sort these during very challenging weather! It was fantastic to see Leslie and Allen and we would love them to come and stay at ours again. We were able to go on holiday and not have a single worry about our animals or the house.
