I really enjoyed this housesit, it was very relaxing and Juno is such a gem a sweet loving dog. I loved hiking with Juno in the mountains and at the beach. Mathew and Genevieve communicated well and we stayed in touch thru emails. They have a cozy little home that has everything anyone would want or need while enjoying the beauty of Jenner. We thoroughly enjoyed spending Christmas in Kelly and Trevor’s comfortable, warm & cozy home in the heart of the Peak District. Kelly was a great host, kept us informed and provided us with a very comprehensive sitters guide. Kipling the cat was a delight, spending the evenings cuddled up with us on the sofa and otherwise no bother at all. Unfortunately the weather was appalling and it was difficult to take advantage of the beautiful countryside on the doorstep but if you like walking, this is the place for you. We can thoroughly recommend house sitting for Kelly and Trevor and would love to return if invited.
We’ve just returned from a great house-sit! Nik and Alison are lovely, and have a beautiful home. They left really helpful instructions, we’re very welcoming and made us feel at home. Stephanie and Vern are a very warm and friendly couple. We felt very welcomed for our four-day sit. Communication was excellent and we had detailed instructions for the house and pets. We enjoyed the very loving and well-trained Rocket and Shadow. The modern house has great decks and is surrounded by nature, with a glorious view of Lake Roosevelt. We were visited by turkeys and deer. This was a very easy sit and we highly recommend it for a relaxing time. Walking the dogs off leash on the property was a bonus. If you like the rural life, a comfortable bed, peace and quiet, birds singing and hummingbirds humming, this is a very satisfying house-sit!
The house is located in a quiet and loveable village at the shores of the amazing Geneva lake. Anna and Vitaly are very welcoming and explained in detail all little intricacies of the pets - following their advice made it easy and enjoyable. The dogs are positive and sweet with Loki asking to play sometimes. But the sweetest moment is when all 3 come to you - cat is uniquely human-loving - she was coming to me each time she saw me on the sofa or bed, and then dogs would come to sleep around - and you are surrounded by their comfort and love!
I had a wonderful time looking after Vader and Luke. They are gorgeous company and a delight to look after. Everything was very straightforward and easy. I had an initial phone call with Gilson and we met in the morning before starting the sit. Gilson welcomed me showed me around their home and made sure I was set up before heading off. Their location is also fantastic and a lovely area for taking Luke and Vader for walks. Thank you Gilson and Marcela for having me!
