Michaela & Raja were lovely hosts! From the onset, their communication was quick and detailed. They were very kind and provided us with all the information we needed for our stay. The location of their home was ideal and transport options were within walking distance to Central London. The best part of our stay were the cats! Moana and Kauai were so sweet and fun to take care of. When they weren’t cuddling with us, they were entertaining us with their acrobatics. Highly recommend this sit! We would be happy to sit for you again - thanks Michaela and Raja!
Jake and Beni were perfect gentlemen. Both bonded with me quickly. It’s a relaxing, comfy home and that view of the mountains is just lovely. I would love to take care of them again! Thank You, Shanda!
Oh my goodness, this house and pet sit was a slice of heaven!! A gorgeous beach home steps from the beach with three wonderful animals. Otto stole our hearts. He is such a sweet and well trained boy. He listens to his commands really well and a very good walker. We loved taking him on beach days and there's an amazing stretch of beach nearby that's designated for dogs. The two cats Esme and Little Kittarn are sweet snuggle babies. They love being near you throughout the day. We all slept together on a queen bed and we loved every minute of it! It was pretty hard saying goodbye. Easy communication with Kym & Matt before and during the house sit. A thorough house guide and in-person tour made for smooth sailing throughout. Its a far hike for us to get to Australia but we sure hope we can make it back someday in the future to take care of these fur buddies again!
Jamie is extremely nice and welcoming and gave me all the info I needed to take care of Spider! She left me pre-portioned meals for him and had his medication clearly labeled, which made everything extremely easy. Spider needs to be carried up and down the stairs- he was very skittish at first and didn’t want me to pick him up, but I bribed him with treats and once we’d done it once, he was fine with it. He is cuddly at night and curled up on the couch with me while we watched a movie. It was a very chill visit, and I absolutely loved Jamie’s funky decor and awesome neighborhood.
We had a chilled easy-going sit at Matthew and Fiona’s, who were friendly and welcoming, in their beautifully designed large house in Charlton. Ginger and Pepper were very sweet cats although seemed rather more interested in the food than in us (!) but they certainly opened up more over the few days that we were there, even if we never reached lap-cat status. Instructions were clear and communication was excellent over the period. The area was green, leafy and quiet and sitters might want to be aware that it’s a little walk/bus/car ride to get to the shops. One might, strictly speaking, deduct half a star for a slightly chaotic start time and a little huddle of items taking up a bit of room here and there which left a little less space to swing a cat (!) (NB: Joke expression for any non-English speakers reading this), however we recognise there were some busy personal circumstances going on at the time and Matthew and Fiona were just lovely people so it’s a full five star rating from us. Thanks for having us guys!
When the dates Louise needed a house sitter aligned exactly for when I wanted to be in London I was very happy, but when I met Poppy and Chorus and discovered how delightful they were I was over the moon. Two really lovely dogs, Chorus is a laid back wonder and Poppy, after a few minutes of getting to know you, is a friendly delight too. Louise is also lovely and I was fortunate enough to be able to get a relaxed run down from her of the dogs routine the day before the sit started. I loved hanging out with poppy and Chorus, having some low maintenance evenings and relaxing afternoons. Everything about this sit was perfect and, if timing ever works out that perfectly again, would absolutely love to look after them again.
