I loved sitting at Jeff and Eney’s home and caring for Stanley and Heidi. Stanley is a wonderful outdoor companion and Heidi is a rescue dog full of love. There are also endless outdoor adventures right from their cozy house. Jeff and Eney are also great communicators and ensured all the logistics were clear and I could reach them easily as needed. I can’t wait to go back.
Always a pleasure house and pet sitting for Franca and Russ in their beautiful home and we’ve always been made to feel most welcome. Sandy and Puss are both friendly Norwegian Forrest cats and quickly accepted us as their temporary human parents and both wait patiently for their brush each morning on the porch in the sun. Puss is a little more reserved until it comes to brush time and then Sandy needs to keep out of her way until she is satisfied with enough brushing. Franca and Russ’ large home is just perfect. It is always clean and tidy and easy to imagine yourself at a resort. The pool and cabana are great for relaxing outside and the media room is very comfortable to watch a movie or two while relaxing in a recliner. Franca’s garden is amazing; filled with hundreds of her beloved succulents. If you love gardening, there is always something to do. As far as shopping, you will really need a car as Tomerong is only a small village with a post office/general store. The closest Woolworths or Coles is at Vincentia; just a short drive away. Huskisson is also only a short drive, where you’ll find any number of restaurants. And if you can tear yourself away from ‘the resort’, don’t forget to visit some of the stunning Jervis Bay beaches or go for a lovely walk along the coast. We would 100% highly recommend this pet and house sit in such quiet, beautiful surroundings.
We enjoyed our time in MK with Tascha, and Gill was a first class host, providing us with a lovely light lunch and lots of info before she left. While MK is a very busy, bustling place her home is in one of the original villages and is a little oasis of calm, with very pleasant walks and a great little pub nearby. Thank you Gill, we would love to come back.
Fun dog and easy with great instructions
ruby was a gem, and Lucy/H were lovely and welcoming. I had a quick in-person tour and then had the catch to personally debrief them on my return. Lots of great walks (Ruby loves fetching balls), local shops and train station within 15 mins. This is a household full of smiles and happiness, and I really enjoyed my short stay.
I had such a wonderful time watching Alex’s cats (Nanouk and Frankie)at her house. The place was peaceful and incredibly comfortable. Nanouk and Frankie are absolutely adorable and such a joy to be around. Thanks, Alex, for trusting me with your lovely fur babies in your beautiful home! Would love to opportunity to stay here again.
