Had a wonderful housesit at Tanya and Sandy’s and was actually sad to be leaving. Buddy was adorable and he was so much fun to be around. I also loved looking after the hens and had great breakfasts from the eggs they laid. Tanya was a delight to deal with and made Chris and I so welcome. I hope we can sit again for then
After a most enjoyable 8 days at Amanda’s home, I have nothing but favourable comments about this sit, and of course Amanda’s very loveable cockapoo Maggie. From the outset, Amanda’s communications were very clear, professional and concise and her meticulous detailed Guide was the best I’ve seen and covered every conceivable item you’d need. Amanda’s home is beautiful and super comfortable, sparkling clean and an absolute haven in which to relax and enjoy with Maggie, and very safe and secure. The sitter’s large bedroom and adjoining bathroom were spotless with high quality linens as standard. The leafy suburb of SW London is a favourite (I have family there) and offers a great variety of cafes, gastro pubs, and many lush green Commons and parks in which to enjoy with Maggie. It’s an easy 5 minute walk to the High Street, supermarkets and buses and the overground train. Even though Maggie is a young dog, she has been well trained, is not anxious, knows her boundaries (but did try the occasional “I’m allowed on the couch/your bed”) and cannot get enough of her beloved ball being tossed for her to retrieve! Twice daily walks with her were a delight, and she was frequently admired by passerbys. She has an intuitive “inbuilt GPS” so knows exactly which way home/the park is and exactly the houses where the pesky cats that taunt her live! At no time did Maggie exhibit any negative or difficult behaviours, both with other dogs or meeting young children around the local playgrounds. We enjoyed a bus ride home one day and she took that in her stride. Her affinity for muddy puddles was made tolerable in the knowledge that she is super responsive to having her paws washed after walks! Amanda was a thoughtful and kind owner that cares greatly for her home and dear Maggie and I look forward to hopefully being able to enjoy future sits here.
Shelley was our first house sit, and she made the situation as easy as it could be. She was very welcoming and easy going which made being in her place with her cats very comforting. Izzy and Nina have such a great environment for inside cats, and while they both took time to settle they just loved to play and be shown affection. The location is great and the cats are an easy ball of fun. We hope to help Shelley out with any sits in the future when we are available.
Lisa and Dave are warm, welcoming hosts. Lisa had put lovely fresh cut flowers out in the kitchen, bedroom and even on the outside tables. Their home is lovely, large, comfortable and immaculate. You will be hard pressed to find a prettier garden, or views of the South Downs, which will make you want to stay forever. Communication was excellent via whatsapp. The dogs are very good walkers and there are wonderful woodland paths right from the front door. Monty is a lovable lab, good off lead, and Digger really loves a cuddle on the settee of an evening. Lisa kindly kept the cleaner and gardener coming to the home during our stay so it was easy to maintain the dog accessible areas. The tennis court was icing on the cake. The mower is easy to operate, takes about an hour to ride/mow the lawns. Don't miss walking the zig/zag trail to Selbourne and the lovely walks around Chawton. Black Down was another must see.
Charlie, George and Nemo are absolute darlings. Ewan and Mark are the most incredible hosts, they're beyond generous and so communicative. I was so lucky to be able to spend this time getting to know them. I'd be thrilled to visit again.
Sekhmet is a delightful cat to sit for. She’s very affectionate and playful. The location is in a nice working class neighborhood just outside of Paris which is easily accessible by the metro. I’m glad I got to experience a different neighborhood and advance my love for France even more.

We are now working on... how do I stay confident on my own ;-).. but everything is fine. Great advice beforehand, I didn't have any “stomach pains” even when I dropped it off and even though Sammy was very excited when I picked him up, he must have gotten the right amount of rest and consistency because he was just himself again at home, heard and balanced. Understandably very tired from the new impressions, but not a trace of disturbed or anything. As an epileptic he didn't have anything afterward, just great. I am very grateful to have found competent care. Thank you :-)
Highly recommended for all dog/dog and dog/human issues. Problems in dog training and fears are addressed from the core. Your tips will not only be discussed theoretically, but will also be developed and debriefed in practice if possible.
I was able to look over Caro's shoulder for two days as part of an internship. Caro is a very down-to-earth and pleasant person who scores points with her enormous competence, the necessary sensitivity and an unmistakable presence. I can highly recommend Caro as a trainer for both dog owners and aspiring trainers. I was able to take a lot with me for myself and my future career path. Thanks for the insight.
Caro is a great dog trainer and can handle all challenges confidently. Her knowledge of dogs, her calmness and her intense and good relationship with the animals are very impressive. They trust Caro 100% and feel safe and loved. Dog owners learn a lot here! We think Caro is great!
Caro is super competent and was the only one who was able to help us enormously after countless overwhelmed dog trainers. Both individual and group lessons bring us huge progress every time. You feel absolutely comfortable, well advised and have a lot of fun during the lessons.
Caro is a great dog trainer. Through the hours with her I understand my dog better and see him completely differently. She always has the right tips ready. Our Pumba is also a guest at her dog boarding house from time to time. We are happy that he is accommodated so well.
Very individual training tailored to every type of person and dog. Caro gave us great support during a very difficult time with our dog. As a not-so-easy dog, our Chabo is well looked after by Caro during our holiday. We are very grateful that Caro exists!
Actually, I shouldn't praise too much because the places are limited, but there can't be a better dog school or dog boarding facility! Caro has been with us for seven years and no matter whether it's an individual lesson, a group lesson or a workshop, you get so many great, helpful tips and suggestions and take away so much, it's always great. Caro is warm, always has an open ear and always has a solution for all dog situations. The same applies to Lena and Sandra, who support Caro with the courses. But the crowning glory is the dog boarding facility. Our two labbies regularly go on holiday with Caro and Adam and we can go on holiday in a relaxed manner because we know that Mayla and Bruno will be cared for professionally, with a plan and system and still very lovingly. We always almost feel guilty when we pick them up again because they like it so much. Our Mayla especially loves Caro more than anything. So our heartfelt thanks and hopefully many more years together!
Only recommended! I never really knew how to deal with my dog Sam, Caro showed me a way. Since I was having more and more problems with him, I turned to them and what can I say, things got better, much better, we are now a team! Everyday companion with character. Would and go to her again and again. I can only advise anyone with a clear conscience who has problems with their dog. But I can also only recommend the other services such as workshops or the guesthouse. Everything is species-appropriate and tailored to the dog/person and if something doesn't work, Caro will find another solution!
Caro is a very experienced trainer who knows how to convey her in-depth knowledge to her owner in an amusing way. The training sessions are refreshing and very instructive and are an excellent way to better understand your four-legged friend. We always look forward to the upcoming training sessions. Thank you very much Caro.
Lea always takes such great care of our dog, she is very nice, and we are always happy and feel secure leaving our dog in her care.
We always enjoy bringing Caesar to Lea. Caesar seems to really like it 😊 Lea is flexible, friendly, has a good way with dogs and also seems to know whether and how to bring different dogs together. You also get regular updates, photos and videos. We actually only came to Lea because our previous dog boarding facility was fully booked. Despite the higher prices, it is now always our first port of call for all the reasons mentioned. 🤗
Our Luna was looked after wonderfully by Lea while we were on holiday It was very important to us that Luna was accommodated well. Lea is responsible and very loving, which is what we think is most important! It's also always easy to reach when you're longing for your four-legged friend. She responded immediately and we got photos. Always my pleasure:)
Mylo, a Maltipoo male 6 months old, was with Lea for the second time, yesterday for half the day. I'm thrilled and of course Mylo is too because he can play with others. Lea is simply great and you can trust her with your protégé with a clear conscience.
We are very satisfied, our Bebbels liked it very much and we received pictures and information every day about how our dog was doing. Tomorrow our dog is going there for the second time and we are happy to have found someone where we can go on vacation with peace of mind! Thank you very much 🙏 …
Absolutely recommended!!! I have two very demanding Malis that are not easy to manage. Both are service dogs that require a very experienced hand. With Lea we really hit the jackpot! She has a super loving, warm, absolutely professional and responsible approach to the dogs. Anyone looking for care with experience and heart has come to the right place! Thanks Leah!
Really a very good address for your protégé! We often had our dog here over the holiday period, but also over a weekend on days when time was tight. The care was always great and our little Django was a happy guest here. Unfortunately Django no longer exists... our next dog will definitely spend his holidays here again!
