Looking after Yolo and Lola was an absolute honour!
We enjoyed so very much their home, the area and most of all the company of Yolo "the ball hunter" and Lola "the princess of Bhutan".
Chris and Patty put us in contact with the neighbours and friends and we got to immerse ourselves a bit in the community. They communicated with us all the time and felt very supported.
We feel so grateful for this opportunity and would absolutely love to house sit again for them. We arrived there as house sitters and left as friends.
If you have the opportunity to be selected as house sitter, don't miss the chance of getting to know these beautiful souls.

We loved looking Marshmallow, Nova, Gryphon and Remi. The birds were simple to care for, the puppies were very well behaved for their age, and they were incredibly loving which made our sit very enjoyable. The house is beautiful and tucked away in a nice suburb within walking distance to a small shopping plaza. The garden is well secured so the dogs could roam free when we were there, they have a beautiful pool which was definitely a bonus. Anne, Steve and Kaitlyn were very hospitable and made us feel very welcome in to their home. The communication throughout the sit was excellent and we had a clear information sheet with all the details of the house and pets. Anne and Steve also let us use their bikes whilst they were away, which made it a lot easier to explore the area. We would happily pet sit again, and we’re going to miss Marshmallow, Nova, Gryphon and Remi!

Everything about my experience with this sit was top notch. From initial contact right through to closure and debrief, communication with Karen was terrific. I found her to be warm, casual and inviting, which really worked for me. Her home is in an awesome location close to the ocean and easy walking distance to Victoria’s downtown, and harbour. Inside, her place has all you need for a completely comfortable and satisfying stay. And…the pets. I was sad to leave. As a dog owner I love dogs of course. Juniper stole my heart - such a sweet, and energetic, girl! As for Noel, she was also out to make my departure difficult. Curling up on the comfy veranda chair with a purring Noel in place…who needs meditation. I read my novel in 2 sittings as a result!
I hope I’m invited to sit there again, and if I am so lucky but can’t make it for some reason, maybe you’ll be the lucky one!
Thanks Karen, Juniper and Noel😊🙏
