Our stay with Margaret was quite wonderful. She is a great host, very nice, relaxed, an extremely interesting person. The house is comfortable, beautiful, well equipped and has all the amenities one would want for a pleasant stay. The house is located in a quiet village, very close to extensive vineyards where you can take excellent walks. Lena is simply a great dog. Gentle, playful, good humored, cuddly and loves to run. We worked from home and spent a lot of time with her, enjoyed it very much and it was really sad to leave her. We felt very comfortable and can recommend House Sitting to everyone
James and Chelsea were super welcoming and made sure I was comfortable at their home before they left. Snickers and Doce are both sweethearts and were easy to take care of.
Wow! We felt so lucky to have been able to house sit for Rachel and her family! Her home is ridiculously amazing! The views were spectacular. Amber, the dog, was so super sweet (and easy) and we loved her so much. We treated her to a bunch of little walks to waterfalls and around the cute town (she was too old to do long hikes) and she just lit up with joy! So fun! The kitty, Peek, was also very easy and although she was a bit nervous of strangers, warmed up to us and was super sweet and cuddly (when she was in the mood for attention). My son loved that. The location was ideal, with lots to do nearby. And we loved being in the countryside, off a picturesque low-traffic road, yet only a few minutes from lovely Middlebury, with great food, stores, parks, art, a waterfall, and even a natural foods grocery store. And finally, Rachel and her family were fabulous! We really lucked out in being to meet them and hang out with their wonderful pets!
Lucky me I got such a wonderful sit in Brisbane! Steve and Alana are such a lovely and kind couple with two adorable kids! I was allowed to come a day earlier as well as to leave the day after they came back home; this makes travel organisation always a lot easier. They also handed me over their car to use. Offers I really appreciate! Howie is by far my highlight of Brisbane! He is such an affectionate, intelligent and playful buddy I really enjoyed spending time with! Not just a set phrase- I’m going to miss him. (My phone is full of at least hundreds of Howie photos though 😂) Their home is clean, tidy and spacious. I felt very welcomed in their home. Steve sent me a welcome guide with every information I needed and was always available via WhatsApp, if I had questions during the sit.
Everyone should be so lucky to get to spend some time with Lizzie. She is just pure love and we had a wonderful week together. She is very easy and well-behaved for a two year old. I was working remotely and she just hung out by my side most of the time. Our walks were very fun and you make friends quickly in the neighborhood with her at your side. Be careful walking by the fire-station though. They give good treats and it can be quite challenging to convince her to leave. Melanie and Collin are fantastic as well. Very friendly and easy to talk to. They left great information and were quick to respond to questions. Plus you can't beat the neighborhood. I definitely recommend this house sit!
We met Leah and her cat Pabu one day before our pet sit. She was more than friendly and welcoming. She showed us everything we need to know while our stay in her apartment together with her cat Pabu. Pabu needs medicine twice a day which was not a problem at all because he is so relaxed in taking them. He is also very cuddly and playful. After just a few hours he jumped onto our lap and purred. He also likes to lie on the couch and loves to play. Leah's apartment is in an old terraced house in Noe Valley, typical of San Francisco. This neighborhood is very safe and family-friendly. You can find everything you need within walking distance and it is very well connected by bus and metro. We can only recommend a house sit with Leah and really enjoyed our time there. Thank you very much.
