Dog Sitters in Oak Grove, MI

Catherine was the best! We loved having her come and sit for our cats. I didn’t worry and was very relieved to have her at our house and watching our cats. I highly recommend Catherine to anyone. She is wonderful!!

Kris and Emily were great housesitters! They were very reliable and communicative and all the pets loved spending time with them! They took wonderful care of the house and all 4 animals! Highly recommend them!

Lisa, first, I am very sorry for taking longer than I said to write this review (1 week and I went a little over...my apologies!), but it was very busy when I returned. Now for my review: I booked Lisa from my gut reaction to her first email and then subsequent ones. She did not have any reviews at the time, but after reading SO many profiles and holding out for that "one special one", I was glad I did hold out. Lisa is a hidden gem in zeewoi, because while experienced with animals, she was just starting out on here when she applied to keep my little Molly while I was away in Antarctica. Lisa was amazing. Her communication was timely and very thorough. It was evident that she and my dog bonded very fast. Due to COVID and the Antarctica cruise I was on, there were a lot of hurdles (covid testing) to pass to even get on the ship. This put a lot of uncertainty toward this trip on the front ends and back ends of it. However, Lisa strived to accommodate the uncertainties, if they came to pass. Luckily, it all went perfectly and we had the time of our lives. I could not have taken this trip without the assurance she gave me. There wasn't a lot of communication during our trip b/c, well...we were at the bottom of the Earth! However, when I returned, I did find detailed updates on Molly, along with some photos. Molly got so many walks and I do feel that Molly was even a bit sad after the newness of me coming back home wore off. It was as if she was still waiting to see if Lisa walked through the front door a few times. I am very thankful to have met Lisa, and if she has applied for your sit, give her a chance, even if she still doesn't have the most reviews like some profiles have after a few years. Everyone has to start somewhere, and I knew to trust my gut with her. Lisa, if you ever want to return to Nashville, just let me know and I'll try to be out of town again! ;) haha. I also talked to Mitch about getting a future THSitter for him, as well.....where both our dogs would stay together at HIS house. Believe me...you would LOVE his house on the lake. It's incredible! :) You'll be the first I contact for our next travels, if you think you ever want to return here....but who knows when that might be, given these stinkin' gas prices now, right? Janice did an excellent job watching EJ and my home while I was gone!! She even stayed several hours beyond as my flight was delayed. Her concern for EJ being left crated that long of a stay was much appreciated.

We are so happy that Meredith and Drew stayed in our home while we were away. They took great care of everything around the house and loved our dogs like they were theirs! We can tell that Dante and Tallulah really loved having them here! They sent updates and photos during our time away and always made us feel that our pups where in good hands. In addition, they are super nice, warm and friendly! We highly recommend Meredith and Drew!

Mike was the best. - I’m pretty sure our dog was sad to see him go he took such good care of her. His communication is great. If you get the chance to have Mike sit for you - take him.

Yasu and Taylor were excellent, organized and friendly sitters. They were flexible in arrangements and were accommodating to our schedules in key pick up (and very kind when a snafu left them waiting outside for a little bit). We got great updates during our trip, they take stylish photos! We came back to a spotless apartment and a happy cat. Very highly recommended sitters.

We had Patty and Evie watch our dog Ice Pop for a whole week during Christmas time. Ice pop is an anxious dog and she warmed up to them very quickly. They sent daily updates and even bought Ice Pop a few treats from a local pet store which was VERY nice. Overall, I would absolutely recommend Patty and Evie to any dog owner, no questions asked. I hope we can use them again in the future. And the icing on the cake was that they left our house in immaculate condition upon their departure and helped put presents under our tree for our toddler to come home to :). All around a wonderful experience.

Emma arrived on time and followed all instructions on house and sheep care very well. She's a very thoughtful and honest person. If you have a chance to overlap with her, you'll be rewarded with connecting with an insightful soul immersed in the beauty and heartache of being a young adult in these times. She re-stocked the firewood without me asking, and she did dishes 2 of the 3 meals we overlapped. She was a bit late on the daily report a couple times (but I didn't give her a specific time!), and her cleanliness was just fine given the difficulties of cleaning this earth-made home during a rainy spell without more detailed instructions. I highly recommend Emma!

Lauren was delightful ! We enjoyed her company and getting to know her . She did an excellent job with all of our pets and followed our instructions perfectly ! She kept the barn immaculate (almost impossible ) , brushed the cats and kept the dogs company . We would welcome her back any time to stay at our farm ! Thank you Lauren !

Keith was utterly AMAZING! If he applies to sit for you, ACCEPT, you have zero worries! It was our first time opening our home and dogs to the care of a stranger so I was a little nervous, but having text and met Keith a couple of times before, it felt like a friend was moving into our home. He was organized, asked lots of questions that I hadn’t thought of, but most of all he was caring of our boys! We came home to the lawn cut, laundry done, house immaculate and even milk, bread and fruit in the fridge! The PERFECT GUEST in every way!
