Rebekah took care of our two standard poodles for eight days while we were in China. We asked for daily updates while we were gone. She let us know that things were going well at home so we could relax and enjoy our amazing time in China. She also sent us pictures of the dogs eating, sleeping and playing. I believe the dogs responded well to Rebekah's calm steady presence and were happy while we were gone. I was worried about connections on the trip home and asked Rebekah to stay at the house till I was on board my last flight connection. She very kindly stayed at the house with the dogs till 9:00 at night so they would not be alone too long. The house was very tidy and Rebekah had washed the sheets and remade her bed. This was a huge relief after the long trip from China. I recommend Rebekah without reservation.
Just returned from a wonderful week at Jane’s quirky Suffolk house. Communication with Jane was brilliant, both before and during the sit and Jane couldn’t have been more helpful in assisting us to resolve a minor issue that arose while we were there.. The house and garden are wonderful and we felt truly blessed to have been chosen to stay in such a magnificent space. We were lucky to have sunny weather all week and enjoyed outings to Rendlesham Forest, Minsmere Nature Reserve, Sutton Hoo, Woodbridge and Aldeburgh. Loads of lovely places within a short distance. We both fell in love with Kwabi - such an intelligent, polite and communicative cat. I adored grooming him every day and he would trot out to the garden picnic bench and get himself in position, and then start drooling, occasionally turning round to gently head butt me in appreciation. He is the most laid back and good-natured cat ever, with bags of personality. I keep looking for him since I’ve been home!
Ollie and Axel are the cutest! I adored caring for them on my recent 4-day sit. Erin's description of responsibilities is an accurate reflection of what is to be expected. Both pups were active during my stay and we enjoyed a couple of long and meandering walks following Ollie, the older one. The house was very clean and comfortable. When I did have questions, Erin was quick to respond. I would definitely pet sit for Erin again!
We had a wonderful time at Kate's house with Honey and Mervyn! They are beautiful dogs and we really enjoyed their company. Kate is a wonderful host, very relaxed which makes for a calm and enjoyable housesit. We had a really beautiful weekend and hope to be able to housesit for Kate again! Thanks so much!
From the first meeting, Berni was a kind and very easy person, he gave me all the instructions, in short, it was like 'make yourself at home'. Casper is a beautiful cat. If you are a cat lover, it will be difficult not to love him; he likes to be with you, talk to you, and he loves to be petted. You don't feel alone at home; he is great company, besides, he is very independent... It was a great experience!
I feel truely blessed to have been given the opportunity to house sit for Jen and look after her beautiful animals. Daisy dog was very friendly and chill, she loved to sit near me for company in the evenings. Jimmy and Annie (the horses) were so beautiful and also super friendly, coming up for pats each time they’d spot me outside. The chickens were full of character, the two white ones were always first out and last in 😂. Jens house was warm and cosy, super clean, and had the most beautiful views from the upstairs work space and lounge area. I loved spotting all the animals including deer, foxes, kangaroos, donkeys and an array of beautiful birds. The town of berrima is so quaint and has some fun stores to explore and some yummy cafes. Mittagong is also great for some good eats. I did some great local bush walks and went down to Fitzroy falls during my stay. I can’t thank Jen enough for trusting me with her home and pets and am happy to help out again in future as required. Thanks Jen! X
A very pleasant sit in Iwerne Minster. Hugh and Prue, who we met up with a couple of days before the sit, were welcoming and easy-going. Their pretty, thatched, house is located in a lovely village, a little to the South of Shaftesbury and is very comfortable, with great character. Chalky and Phoebe, their dogs, kept us well entertained and we enjoyed taking them for walks in the lovely surroundings. Thanks, Hugh and Prue!
