Cat Sitters in Oak Grove, VA

Jean and Frank were fabulous pet/house sitters. They sent us frequent photos of the dogs, they were gracious about administering several meds as our dogs are older, and they took meticulous care of our home. We communicated frequently and I knew that Baily and Daisy were in good hands. I highly recommend them as pet/house sitters. They might come with their own dog, Leo, who fit right in and as a bigger dog, was kind and gentle with ours. We arrived home to a very clean house. Don't miss the opportunity to have Jean and Frank in your home caring for your pets.

Claire was wonderful! She met with me before we left to go over details about the house and dog. She left the house very clean, even washing the sheets so we would not have to do it on our return. She loved our dog and made our trip even better knowing Jax was in good hands!!

Crystal was an amazing sitter for us. She allowed us to enjoy our vacation to France with peace of mind that the fur kids were in great hands. Her communication was top notch and she send us texts and photos during the week. Don’t hesitate to have her pet sit for you. Thank you Crystal.

Tonia was amazing! From first meeting her and talking with her my heart immediately felt at ease. She communicated everything so well and checked in with us everyday with cute photos of Marlo. It of course made us miss him but knew he was in good hands since he seemed to love being close to her from the first day. She cleaned the whole house and exceeded my expectations completely when it came to 'leaving it as you found it'. It was such a treat to come home and not have to worry about a single thing. She was so sweet and caring it felt like she was family! I would recommend her to anyone who wants the assurance that their fur babies will be spoiled and very well taken care of while you are away. She goes above and beyond. Thank you for being a great sitter and person!

Bradley and Deb were fantastic! They were very reliable and clean, and Rosie was a happy kitty with them. They made sure to give her her pills on time and played with her, gave her attention, etc. Fantastic housesitters!

Sharon was just a wonderful sitter. She has an engaging, positive personality and is full of energy. We were happy with the updates and photos of 2 content Goldens, whether on a trail or chilling by her feet. It is so wonderful to go away knowing your fur babies are loved and cared for in their own home. Will need to come up with a trip so we can invite this special lady back.

Jane took great care of the pets and the house. It was spotless upon arrival, the bed was made with clean sheets, and an added plus of flowers. Her communication was excellent and and she sent just the right amount of photos. Jane was reliable, self sufficient, and I would be happy to have her back.

Ramsey was an amazing cat sitter for Harry & Sassy. Was very organized and communicative. Left the house in great shape including cleaning the refrigerator, the wood floors and replacing paper goods and toiletries. He was wonderful with the cats who obviously were attached to him. I feel like it was a vacation for Harry & Sassy with daily grooming and play sessions.

Sam kept in contact with us and sent pics occasionally. However, the thing that was unacceptable was how little he cleaned the litter box. When we arrived home, my husband checked the litter box as we always do. We have two cats, so it is important that the box is scooped twice a day. This is in my welcome guide. When my husband pulled the litter box out of its holding place, the box was very full of litter, feces, and large clumps of urine. It looked as if the box hadn't been cleaned in days. I immediately messaged Sam and told him that this was unacceptable and we would not have him stay again. (He had asked for another opportunity to stay.) His response was that he scooped the feces once a day and did not realize he was supposed to scoop the whole box. Wow! That response is very disingenuous. It was not worth a response. I would not recommend him if you have cats.

Angela and Denisse really saved us. We thought we had a housesitter and then received an email from the site saying that there was a problem with our original choice -- two days before we were supposed to go on vacation. We reposted, and happily Angela saw our listing, and we quickly set up a meeting with her and decided to take a chance with her and Denisse. It was a perfect match. We have three rescue animals, a dog and two cats. One of our cats is so fearful, he usually hides in the garage for most if not all of our trips. On day two, he made an appearance with them. We got lots of photos of happy, unstressed animals, which for us is the main reason why we want someone to house sit. She reached out regularly with updates, which was very much appreciated. Nothing was broken, which can happen with normal wear and tear, and also unprecedented. Everything was neat and orderly when we returned, and Angela even reached out when she hadn't heard from us because of traffic delaying us on our way home. I can't recommend them enough for being caring to our animals and considerate of our house. This was such a rushed reservation, but after meeting Angela I had a very good feeling and the photos confirmed they were kind to our animals and respectful. They were truly delightful to have stay, and I would highly recommend them both as housesitters.

Walter was very self sufficient in our home and left it very clean

Daniel and Kunjisha were amazing. They were incredibly respectful and clean and took amazing care of Kylian. They were super responsive and provided us with updates daily about Kylians behavior and provided photos as well. Defintely would recommend them for any sit.
