Sydney was one of the very best housesitters we've ever had! She had great communication, both before and during our trip, and left our house spotless. Our cat seemed ambivalent about our return for the first time ever, which seems to indicate how satisfied he was with Sydney's care. Would invite to sit again in a heartbeat!

Scrappy is a really lovely dog to care for. He is such a sweetie whom I loved spending time with. Due health reasons he only has two very short walks a day. The house is very close to the Vines golf course and there are a lot of kangaroos and birds around. The house particularly the kitchen is small and not really a cooks kitchen. The cooker is an old electric one and the oven is not clean, it smoked when I tried to use it. The cupboards are full to the brim and not user friendly. I had to clean the pantry to find the kettle and toaster as well as make a small space for my things. Plus theres big cockroaches. I didnt feel like it was a place I could relax in. The couch is really uncomfortable so I mostly sat at the dining table. Melanie asks that the sitter turn the hot water system on for a couple of hours every second day. I sometimes forgot ending up with a cold shower. Some house/pets sits are really easy and comfortable but this one wasnt really, for me. The bed and bedroom were comfortable enough.
I felt Melanie and I sometimes misunderstood each other, I felt told off at times. It could be helpful to be a bit more accommodating to a good sitter who is doing you a favour, for free. There are some simple things to improve to make it a more pleasurable experience for sitters.
Scrappy made the sit enjoyable.

I LOVED sitting for little Leela & Fry! The cutest sibling pouches on the planet! SO full of love and cuddles, they were a joy to be with!. Apartment was amazing in the best location. Go get some "Prince st. pizza!". Apartment had everything you need: wifi, comfortable bed, full kitchen, TV and a great couch to hang out with the dogs. Jessica and Patrick are awesome hosts and great people. I definitely recommend this sit!

Jordan
Every aspect of this sit was very easy and stress free. Jordan was an outstandingly kind host and I was lucky to meet him before he left. The house has everything you need to be comfortable. Montpellier is a charming city and easy to navigate by public transport. Sophie is a special dog. She is joyful and obedient. She is also a very calm dog, haven’t heard her barking even once. She likes to stay around you while you work and is a big fan of belly rubs. Don’t hesitate to go to Montpellier and meet both Jordan and Sophie!

We had a wonderful experience in Florence! Sheila's home is in an amazing area, perfect for exploring the coast. We loved watching the seals in the jetty that the house looks over. It was a highlight of our stay. Jasper, her adorable and very energetic pet, was an absolute joy to be around. He loves to sit and watch the jetty with you. Highly recommend!
