I had the pleasure of taking care of Titus and Maribel for one week in Heysham. They were sweet and affectionate kitties who loved to cuddle up at the end of the day. They required little more than food, water and lots of pets. The host provided clear instructions on their care as well as responsibilities for the house and garden. Catherine was friendly, warm and willing to answer questions as they arose. The house itself is beautiful, comfortable and in a quiet seaside setting. I felt very fortunate to have had this experience and would recommend their home and kitties to all who want an enjoyable and peaceful seaside sit. Public transportation was readily available to larger towns and cities via bus and train. Immediate access to the local footpath also provided lovely walks along the water to nearby villages. This truly is a beautiful part of the UK. I highly recommend this home to future sitters!
We had a lovely stay at Jenny’s with the girls and Ralph. The house is secluded which was nice for a quiet weekend and there was access to lots of amazing walks nearby. The bedroom we stayed in was quite cold so I would reccommend bringing some cosy sleepwear if you are staying in the winter but the fire downstairs was lovely for cosy evenings in. The location is an easy drive to Coniston and Tarn Hows which we did some lovely walks with the girls, but you would need a car. They are both great off lead and respond well to recall and Ralph is great company with lots of charisma! Thank you for a great sit.
Lesley and Bob are super nice people and Walter (their dog) is very sweet -just don't try to grab his blue ball when he's got it close! They have a lovely home and the best back yard ever, ideal for humans and dogs! They checked in regularly to make sure I had everything I needed : )
It’s not hard to fall in love with Pippin. He is so cute and simply adorable. Jess and Dieago have a beautiful home near the water and parks. We enjoyed our house and pet sit and hope to resit in the future.
We loved staying with sweet Hank. He’s an easy dog who was so happy that he made us happy. Lynne was easy to work with and communicated information to us that we needed. Hank’s house is in a nice neighborhood and it was easy to navigate the neighborhood and get where we wanted to go. We totally enjoyed staying there and would be happy to stay with Hank again.
I truly enjoyed my time with Blue. He is the most intelligent dog I have ever met. Blue is so sweet that he likes to cuddle and sit next to you when you are watching TV. The home is so magnificent. The ocean view from the living room is breathtaking. The neighborhood is quite and the people are so welcoming. They all wave hands when driving by. There are nice walk to the ocean and hiking trails only a few minutes away from the home. The owner Cathy is very kind. Communicating with her was very smooth. Great dog, Great home, Great owner!
