Rose and Michael are wonderful housesitters. They are so amazingly caring and loving with Reg who adores them. We come home to a spotless house and are welcomed with treats and the essentials you need after a long trip. I cannot praise Rose and Michael enough- they have sat for us three times now and I consider them good friends. With them looking after Reggie I can go away and be confident he will be looked after expertly, and our home respected and cared for.
We've been using this service for five years and I think David and Patricia were our best sitters yet! They left the house very clean, communicated well before and during their stay, and took awesome care of our dog. They sent photos and updates of their doggy adventures, which my kids especially liked :) We knew everything would be in great hands while we were gone and it sure was. We would definitey invite them to stay here again and definitely recommend them!
We stayed at Caroline’s home for almost a month taking care of her cats, Misty and Lennon. We met Bobby the dog before they left and when they came back from France. Bobby was SUPER CUTE! Unfortunately we didn’t get to care for Bobby the dog, as Caroline brought him to France with her and her family. Both cats were very sweet cats, easy going, and well behaved. Their routine was easy to follow. Lennon was friendly and affectionate from the beginning, while Misty took a few days to warm up to us. But once she did, Misty was the sweetest cat who loves to cuddle. She was very communicative too! When she meow meowed at us, it means she wanted us to sit next to her while she ate or she wanted to join us on the couch (but she wanted to be invited). And then she’d rub her face on our hands/legs as a thank you. She’s such a sweet and funny cat :) Caroline’s home is beautiful and very convenient, it got everything we needed. The home is close to big parks and all the public transports. We also enjoyed Caroline’s large garden with beautiful flowers and plants, quite inspiring really. There were plenty of spots to sit and chill in the garden while enjoying the sunshine. It was a delight to look after her flowers and plants too, we learned a lot about plants from that! Caroline’s communication was great throughout the sit (even since before the sit started). She didn’t have to, but she reminded us about the different bins collections every week. She also checked up on us every few days as we went through some very hot summer days. She was quick to respond to our messages as well. We felt at ease looking after her home, all the instructions given were very clear. Our sit ended up finishing one day earlier, but Caroline was helpful and kindly contacted THS people to adjust the end date on the app so that we can apply for another sit before the initial end date. She even offered to let us stay another night after she came back, in case we couldn’t secure any other housesit. But, we found and moved to another sit right on the day they came back from France! However, we really appreciate the offer 😊 It’s been a few days after the sit and we already miss the cats and would love to go back. We had such a great experience and would absolutely pet-sit for Caroline again in the future. We would 10/10 recommend this sit :)
