I had a wonderful time spending a week with Carole and Bootsie - they're absolutely lovely animals. Communication was smooth and easily accessible. Katy and I agreed that I would send her a photo of the cats every day as she missed them, and this was simple and easy to do. Katy has a lovely home, just a short bus/train trip out of central London, and it was a pleasure to stay there. Fantastic sit, highly recommend.

What an amazing place Nicole has, beautiful views over gardens to the coastal path and sea.

And of course the lovely boys Henson and Hawkins to look after. Well behaved and affectionate.

Highly recommend getting down to sit if you get the chance.

This sit was an _absolute_ pleasure! Marilyn from the beginning was extremely inviting and friendly and we got along right away. She and Gonzalo welcomed us to their (beautiful!) apartment, introduced us to Caracola and her routine and even surprised us with the most delicious welcome snack (Guayaba rolls… yummy!). Their home is super cozy, right in the middle of the buzzle of Condesa and next to tranquil Chapultepec Park. We enjoyed the neighborhood very much.

Now, Caracola is literally the sweetest thing. We were smitten right away. Poor her getting sick shortly before our stay, so we had to give her several pills a day – which she not really appreciated but tolerated like a champ!! Such an amazing kitten… We made up for it with lots of cuddling and brushing 😊

We highly appreciated Marilyn being super considerate when Cara got sick: She contacted us in time, informed us about the medical needs of Cara and checked in with us if the “change” would be okay for us. They even prepared How-To Videos so we were able to give the pills to Cara as smoothly as possible! How nice is that!?! It was truly no big deal for us to take care of Caracolas medicine routine – still, it is wonderful they didn’t take it for granted but appreciated it. Thank you for that.

So, to all fellow sitters: If you get the chance to sit for them, do not hesitate. We can only hope to come back one day for more cuddles with Cara 😊

And finally, to Marilyn, Gonzalo and Caracolita: Thank you for having us! You guys are wonderful, and we loved staying at your dreamy oasis looking after precious Cara. We are looking forward meeting you again one day (and may it be only to pick up the jacket we forgot jajaja).

Arianna
"Arianna and Lisa are great people, and I enjoyed meeting them. They left clear instructions and were easy to communicate with.
Nugget is sweet and easy to care for. He loves spending time on the screened-in porch and occasionally comes inside for food, water, and love.
The house is cozy, and the layout is comfortable. The neighborhood has a vibrant young vibe to it. Hyattsville was a pleasant surprise for me. Arianna's and Lisa's house is within walking distance of grocery stores and shopping areas, but most importantly, it's only about 0.5-1 mile away from some really cool restaurants, bars, and breweries. My son and I stopped at "Busboys and Poets" to listen to an open mic poetry reading, and it was a moving and inspiring cultural experience. I highly recommend checking it out if you're in Hyattsville.
There was one issue that prevented it from being a 5-star stay. Despite what seemed like an honest effort by Arianna and Lisa to clean the house, some areas were dirty. The biggest issue was in the kitchen, which had some serious hygiene problems. I ended up having to clean some parts thoroughly just to feel comfortable using the kitchen safely. It was beyond the scope of what's expected from a house/pet sitter. I addressed the issue with Arianna, and she apologized, mentioning they hadn't realized the extent of the problem earlier. I'm confident Arianna will take the necessary steps before the next sitting to address the problem, ensuring future sitters won't have to deal with it.
Other than that, it was a great stay, and I loved the house and the town.
